If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have Mac Intel Base running OS 10.6.8. Finder seems to be corrupt. I have checked the system and it seems to be working properly. However, my Mouse and keyboard stop responding when I relaunch finder, and I have a very slow start up time (10 to 15 minutes till the mouse and keyboard respond). I ran Disk Warrior and got a lot of permission and file errors. Disk Warrior says they are fixed, but every time I run Disk Warrior or Disk Utility the same errors keep showing up. Trying to go to safe mode to check to see if extensions are an issue doesn't work because mouse and keyboard do not respond so I can't log in. Any suggestions?

After updating my MacBook Pro to yeosemite I want my old desktop picture back. I did a full back up before the install. I found the "Settings" folder in Time machine but when I try to open it I get an error message saying "You can not open this folder. It is in TimeMachine".
Can you browse the Time Machine drive from Finder?
If you can and you know where the picture was stored ie on your desktop you can browse through the folder structure to the picture copy it and paste it somewhere on your new install before right clicking it and 'set as desktop background' -
how do you fix the 2 to 3 second delay on hearing somones voice when answering the iphone 5 this happens on lots of iphone 5s with differant carriers so its not one carriers problem its probably apples this is unacceptable on such an expensive phone and very irratating. my last cheap samsung t mobile 50 dollar pre pay never did this,im new in my contract an will take the phone back if i have to put up with this for 2 years.other than that huge problem i love the phone. i dont understand why this did not get covered like the maps problem,cause its a lot of phones and its probably an ios problem.

I'm not going to be of much use regarding answers but I sure am going to watching this post like a hawk for any replies. My package is a slightly diluted version of this and I do find the BBtalk and data limits hard to make the most of as well.
If nothing else this totally highlights how complicated BT have managed to make their packages.
A cynic would assume that they are trying to catch us out at every step and for us to either be overspending or not really getting the moneys worth. -

Not "directly" but you can use the MacBook to send the backup to the external HD.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

All sorted! dont suppose you know how to fix another problem I have??? for weeks now, since updating to ios5 I think, for some reason every time I have tried to log onto app store it says CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE. It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?

if you've changed your startup options on mac to start in windows, how do you fix and go back to mac. I can't get my mac to switch back to mac, it is like stuck in widows mode, I have tried holding down the options key upon start up and that did not fix it either.
Please help! Thank you so much!The Apple drivers you install in Windows also puts a Startup Drive icon in the Task Bar. Choose that to change the startup disk back OS X.

The photo is gone in the text message. Gone. No thumbnail...it doesn't exist anymore. How do you fix that? Can you fix that? Can you ever get the photo to show up again? This happened to me also, a few days ago... I went to look at pics that were sent from just one person, all the other photos that people texted are there during same time period. It is only this one contacts several photos that disappeared... There is an arrow when I click on it it goes to a blank page?!? Have you received any feedback or answers?? Did your photos that are missing come from only one person or multiple? If you have any information that might help let me know!!! I really want them back!! Thanks much!
