TS3992 since I switched to Icloud I can not sync my calendar on my desk top and my ipad and iphone

I am unable to sync my Mac desktop with my ipad and iphone since I switched to Icloud. What am I doing wrong? Icloud is on all devises.

I have similar problem except a pop up message keeps coming up in Calendar on OSX 10.10 (Yosemite) with "The server responded with an error. The URL https://p01-caldav.icloud.com:443/64511948/principal/ encountered HTTP error 404. Make sure the URL is correct." This started shortly after upgrading.
I initially thought it had to do with shared calendars but I've removed all I had.
Any idea what's causing this?

Video podcasts have to be in SD format, not HD. Make sure you select the proper version for your touch. If you still have problems, you can click on the podcast in iTunes and select Advanced > Create an iPod or iPhone Version. That should convert the video into something that can be played.
As far as syncing audio podcasts (I do this for video as well), I use the simple is better approach. I set iTunes to sync all unplayed podcasts and I set each podcast in iTunes to automatically delete played podcasts. The iPod is clean; iTunes is clean.

N95: can not sync contacts & calendar after firmwa...

i have a n95 and i've updated without error to last firmawe version.
this firmware update delete all data (contacts, calendar, notes etc etc) from my mobile and now when i want o syncronize with outlook y can not do it. zero record are sincronized and i have no errors.
i'm thinking to uninstall pc suite and install again but first.... i prefer ask here.
i've change several times sync info and configuration in order to make a change but when i back to outlook i can not sync.

i could work with others pc suite tools like send sms, see new contacts created after upgrade).
it seems like pc suite did not know that there are differences between phone db and pc suite db because they had the same "change number". i thinks this value would be reseted after upgrade but for any reason did not do it.

I hoped someone would be able to answer this, saving me from reading all the small print. I have Adobe Photoshop CS2 and the licence allows me to have it installed on both my desktop as well as my laptop (or it will when my macbook pro arrives next week). Does Aperture allow the same? Or do I have to buy another copy - which if is the case I shall probably just keep it on my desktop.

Hi there - never knew that I could use the licence for both my machines. On one of my music applications I can transfer the licence from machine to machine ad infinitum, by going online and transferring it to whatever Mac you happen to be on at the time, anywhere anytime. Seems like something Mac could follow for Aperture as it allows you to travel without having to take your machine with you. Much greener too!

Can't sync all of my iphotos from itunes onto my iPad or iPhone 4

If I choose to sync all photos in iTunes i will only get the last 6 months and it wont transfer faces events or places tabs. This happens when i sync to my 32gb iphone 4 and my ipad 16gb wifi. Interestingly on my old 8gb iphone this was all that i could fit, its like it wont give me anything new. Ive tried rebuilding my iPhoto library but nothing changed... Any ideas for anything else i could try? I'm on the latest version of itunes on the latest version of snow leopard

I understand the reason to decluter your list of contacts, although I personally have some contacts information added manually to my phone, and I enjoyed having those contacts sync with their facebook account, where I was able to sync their picture and also their birthday information for example, then I had it on my calendar and all that. That was very helpful and a feature that I had with my blackberry a couple of years ago, and iPhone didn't have it back then.
Anyway, now I'm kinda stuck, because I know that I have some people that are somewhat important to me, who's birthdays are not going to be on my calendar, and most likely won't remember (and I know you would say that if that person is important to you, you would always remember), but you know that is not true all the time. Sometimes you have a relative that would actually enjoy a call or a little message on his/her birthday even though you haven't talk to that person in a while, and with that little help I got it from facebook, I was able to do that. Not anymore... that's a bummer.
At least, blackberry would recognize that you have such contact on your phone that you entered manually when syncing, and asked you if you wanted to sync, in that way you would only have sycn those who you enter manually, and not those other ones that I would say are not that important that you don't even have their number, although you are still friends with them on facebook.
I hope this application or capability somehow gets fixed to improve it's performance, because as other people mentioned, it was good to have it, and sometimes it would just messed up with the contact cards, and things like that, but at least you had it sync, even though with errors, but it worked.

Since I moved to iCloud I can't Edit or Delete Address Book Contacts using my MacBook Pro

Is not funny at all, everything was fine using Mobile Me but since I switch to iCloud I can't Edit or Delete my Address Book Contacts using my MacBook Pro or my MacPro.
In my MacBook Pro, i open Address Book and on the left I have te list of all contacts, on the right the selected contact informations, below I only have "Add Contact" or "Share", my friend have "Edit" instead of "Add Contact".
If I click on "Add Contact" this is the result:
Are you sure you want to import 1 card? 1 card is a duplicate and will be updated.
Everything fine using my iPhone or the website.

Please note that iCloud is geared towards being an instantaneous (and in some cases temporary) parking place for various things with iDevices; the access and useability from a computer is more difficult and, for most things, has to be done via the website icloud.com.

If you migrated your MobileMe account to iCloud, on your phone you should be able go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and enter the Apple ID associated with your iCloud account. On your desktop computer, you can configure your email client to get your @me.com email by following this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864.

Palm M500 and Win 7 - Can not sync

Everything was fine until last Friday and now I can not sync.
I moved my data correctly and reloaded the desktop software but still no communication.
I get the messagfe "The connection between your handheld and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again"
Now I get a window that says there are no users in the database.
Can someone help?

You can't send emails? Do you receive an error message when you try to send them? Have you done ANY troubleshooting on the device at all? If you don't have time to try things yourself, it will almost certainly take longer to try it in here.

I understand the need for all of your calendars to be up to date across all of your devices and how frustrating it can be when they are not syncing as you would expect. In this situation I would suggest reading over and using the attached article for troubleshooting.
