TS3999 Error 403 when synching Mountain Lion Calendar to iCloud

I need help in solving why suddently my iCal on the Mac desktop will no longer synch with the Cloud.

Have you tried signing out of your iCloud account on your Mac, rebooting, and signing back in again to jump start the syncing?

  • Receive error 403 when redownloading OSX Lion to primary HDD, help please.

I always install new versions of any operating system to a secondary drive until most bugs and compatability issues have been addressed. When Lion was first released I knew there were many issues with much of my photography editing software, which is the primarry reason I use my 15" MacBook Pro (meets all requirements for Lion.
In this case I used an external firewire 800 HDD with Snow Leopard as the OS. All went well with my upgrade and I had installed only software I knew was Lion compatable. Now with the release of Lions second update and the updates for previously incompatable software available I attempted to install (and even purchase another copy) Lion on my primary HDD.
Since I have purchased one version of Lion when I login using my only Apple ID, apples website recognizes my previous purchase, will not allow a second purchase (the price icon changes to install), but when I attempt to install Lion again I receive an error message "unable to perform, error 403.
If I create a different Apple ID will I be allowed to purchase, download and install Lion on my primary system drive. However since I've been reading discussions others are having and I can now use my computer as a dual boot machine I might just leave well enough alone. The only problem I have now on my Snow Leopard OS is Software updated iTunes and now it's all messed up so I'll save my library and roll iTunes back to its previous version.
Does anyone have a better idea about how to proceed or any precautions to mention about attempting to restore iTunes to its prior version. Any and all input will be greatly appreciated thanks, Bill

If the system is way too slow is probably the hard disk that has problems.
As for hardware test, you need your original Snow Leopard installation disk. Start the Mac with the DVD loaded, press and hold the D key until you see the Apple logo, then release the key and wait until the program starts.

  • Error 403 when I try to connect to iCloud

I recently bought a used iphone 4 (iOS 7.0.4) and when I try to connect this iphone to icloud with my apple username and password, I get an error 403 (I haven't got any icloud account before). When I try to create a new icloud account, It tells me that it's impossible and that this iphone is not more allowed to create a icloud free account. How can I do to create a new icloud account?
    thanks

They told me that my Iphone has reached the maximum number of iCloud accounts creations, 3 as you wrote. But I spoke to a very kind guy from the Apple assistance and after two long calls for trying to find wherefrom my problem was, he contacted Apple engineers and they allowed me to create one more icloud account with my iphone.
So, for others who got this 403 error, it means that your ID is an Apple ID but not An iCloud ID and that you cannot create a iCloud account ... unless if you phone them maybe.
    Many thanks to Apple assistance.

  • I get an error message when purchasing mountain lion

I currently have Mac OS X 10.6.8.  I just freshly formatted and re-installed Mac OS X and Windows 7 on a partition using bootcamp.  The last time I tried installing 10.8 it failed because it was unable to create a partition it needed (I forget details).  I got a refund for the 19.99 purchase.
Now I'm trying to purchase it again, but the 19.99 price changes to "Download".  I did not purchase it again as far as I'm aware.  When I click "Download" I get an error message "The update is for an app downloaded with a different Apple ID.  Sign in with that Apple ID and try again."
I don't have and never did have another Apple ID.  What's the problem here?

  • In mountain lion calendar, the alerts on give you a "close" or "snooze" options.  What happen to being able to select how long you wanted to snooze your alert?

n mountain lion calendar, the alerts on give you a "close" or "snooze" options.  What happen to being able to select how long you wanted to snooze your alert?

SnoozeMaster is now avaiable from the Mac App Store, for MacOS X 10.8 and up.
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/snoozemaster/id614955483?mt=12
It addresses this exact issue. You'll be able to configure different pre-set snooze times, enter custom snooze times when an alarm triggers, etc. It's what snoozing should've been from the get go.

  • TS1277 "iPhoto was unable to connect to Photo Stream" error after upgrading to mountain lion

Has anyone gotten this error after upgrading to mountain lion on a computer that already had a user setup on it?
My iphoto was working with photostream and now it will not connect at all.
I ran fix disk permissions and once it showed up in iphoto, photostream was loading and then it disappeared again.
    help!

FWIW I fixed mine when I realised I'd probably downloaded iPhoto using an AppleID from the App Store but logged into iCloud with a different AppleID. I deleted iPhoto and it's related files (but not the iPhoto Library) using CleanApp, entered the App Store with my usual AppleID and downloaded iPhoto again. Once the App Store, the downloaded iPhoto and iCloud logins were the same iPhoto Stream worked again.

  • Mountain Lion calendar and notes sync problems with exchange server via WLAN

After upgrading to Mountain Lion calendar and notes do not sync anymore with my exchange server via WLAN. There are no syncing problems via ethernet if WLAN is deactivated. Mail works fine with both connection types. Similar problems known? Solutions?
    Thanks for any ideas.

Exact same issue ... cropped up in the past 2 weeks. Constantly syncing and re syncing. Watching calendar events show up and disappear. Tried all the normal stuff including deleting and re setting up the entire acct ... no luck. It built out the whole calendar correctly ( from what I could tell) and then started to sync again and appointments randomly appeared and disappeared .....

  • When is Mountain Lion going to extend to MacBook 2008?

When is Mountain Lion going to extend to MackBook 2008?

That would require speculation......and is not really allowed here.....besides Apple moves forward with their hardware and software and not backwards.....I would not count on your early 2008 MacBook (or mine) being able to run Mountain Lion ever......

  • When is Mountain lion due out?

Does anyone know when OS Mountain LIon is due to be released? All I can find is July. Anything more specific?

July is a 31 day month so it could be anytime from now
    until July 31, 11:59:59 PM.
Last year, Lion was released the day after the quarterly
earnings report call.  FWIW, that is July 24 this year.

  • Mountain Lion Calendar 'Search'

The 'Search' function in my Mountain Lion Calendar does not work. Any suggestions please?

Hmmm...  Is there really no one else out there that has this problem?  Because I'd think searching a calendar program by date range would be a fairly important thing to be able to do.  Perhaps I'm doing it wrong?  Maybe there's an FAQ somewhere?
    Thanks,
    Tom S.
