I would like to view holidays in Calendar on this iPad? They would have to be imported from some where.
You can obtain iCal calendar subscriptions for the version on your computer. This information should then push to your iPad calendar.

Do you happen to have a Mac? If so, and if you use iCloud to sync your calendars, you can do that on your Mac and your iPad will understand. But you cannot create such a repitition (or something like the third Tuesday of each month) on your iPad.
In Calendar on your Mac, you would create the event, choose "Custom ..." as the repitition frequency, then choose "Days" and choose every 3 days. -

Apple won't/never does respond to any feedback.
The only way you'll get what you want is when/if Apple adds such. While they will never respond to feedback, they do read/pay attention to such. -

How do I customize the repeat mode in Calendar?
The are limited options when adding an event to the built-in calendar, as shown on the Repeat field when setting up an event. If you want to create more complex recurrances you'll have to use a different calendar app that supports this, such as Week Calendar (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/week-calendar-easy-powerful/id381059732?mt=8).

On my Ipad Mini, Under Settings, my "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" brings me to its main page. All of my accounts are grey, inactive. I can't select the Icloud, gmail or add account?!!

Thanks.Settings>General>Restrictions>Allow Changes>Accounts. Check that setting. If you restricted changes to accounts, those items will be greyed out and inaccessible.

How can I add my icloud contacts and calendar back to my iphone?
As of last week, my iCloud contacts and calendar disappeared from my iPhone 4S. I was trying to do something with adding Outlook to my PC to access calendars for my children's school, and now I cannot get my iCloud contacts as a group (tried turning setting off then back on in Settings) and my iCloud calendar doesn't show up (tried turning this off then back on in Settings also - won't add it back) on my iPhone (iCloud account is intact on PC). It's as if iCloud isn't even an option any longer. PLEASE HELP!!

It sounds like you now have no iCloud Contacts or Calendar information on your iPhone.

TIAThe answer is 'not very easily', unless the information you want to display is the employee's leave balances. In 12.1.3 Oracle have delivered functionality that allows you to include the leave balances in the approval notifications out-the-box, ie, without customization.
For any other information you're probably going to have to customize the standard delivered HRSSA workflow. Within this workflow, the Leave of Absence functionality uses the Notify Approver (Embedded) (HR_APPROVER_NTF) notification. The body of this notification is set to the Notify Approver (Embedded) (HR_NTF_EMBEDDED_REGION) attribute. This in turn defaults to:

So essentially you can change the HR_APPROVER_NTF notification. The problem with changing this notification is that it's generic - it's used for all SSHR functions and not just Leave of Absence. That means you have to make other, more substantial, customizations to the workflow to ensure the changes you make only applies to LOA.
The other option is to personalize the review page (ie, the region referenced in &HR_EMBEDDED_REGION) to include whatever messages you want. But that means they'll appear on the Review page and all LOA approval notifications and that might not be what you want.
It's usually better to live with what Oracle deliver and find an alternative solution! What's the content of the message you want to include? -
