TS3999 iPhone calendar syncing wrong event times from my icloud

I'll enter events on my iCloud calendar then when I go to check them out on my iPhone its like a day behind.
e.g. 'Monday need to pay my phone bill' it will show up on my iphone on the Tuesday instead, so a day late.
What am I doing wrong?

Jess,
Did you use the TS3999 link above your post topic?
If not, give it a try and then post further questions.

  • IPhone calendar sync two hours off from iCal - Can I fix?

I purchased an iPhone 3G today, this is my second one. Since my last phone, I now have a new MacBook Pro with iCal.
When I performed the Sync today, everything was fine except for the times in Calendar, which were two hours later on iPhone. The time zones were the problem, as the iPhone was set to Cupertino (Pacific) and the computer was set to Memphis (correct zone).
Now, I have corrected the time zones on both and I have performed a new Sync and checked the box to replace information from the calendars on the iPhone with the information from iCal.
However, the times are still off.
    1. Can I fix this issue?
    2. Can I delete the iPhone calendar entries as a whole and start over and re-Sync?
Thanks for the help. It's a minor issue, but it's pretty annoying and I have tried everything I know to fix it.

How bizarre. Mine is doing this too, except it's 3 hours off. I showed up to work 3 hours early because of this. Time zones are the same on my computer and my phone. I'm not sure what the deal is.

  • Blackberry Calendar Sync - Wrong Events Dates

    Hi
I recently wiped my entire calendar on my phone as it was a mess. I composed a new calender with certain re-occuring series events on outlook calendar 2012.
The syncing porcess to my Blackberry Curve 8900 works fine, no issues raised by Desktop manager yet when i look at my phones calendar there are random events that have been placed on wrong dates?!
EG: an event for the 01.10.12 will be showing on the 02.10.12. When i click on this event on my phone and view 'whole series' the date shows for the 01.10.12 to re-occur every few week - so why its on the 02.10.12 i have no idea - Interestingly though when i click on the same event but 'view occurance' it shows the incorrect date of 02.10.12. These events are 'entire dat events'
Outlook is defintely correct and i have not put in this occurance for the 02.10.12 so why is it syncing to my blackberry as wrong occurance date but correct series information? bizzare. Really frustrating.
When i look at future series dates for this incorrect occurance there doesnt seem to be a pattern, the other series are correct. However throughout the year there could be up to 15 diffierent examples of this happening on random dates.
Ive looked at several formums and tech help. Im using OS5 operating system.
Any workaround, fix? Does anyone else experience this issue?
    Thanks
    Adam

    Hi,
I have the same problem. Doesn't seem a big problem for other users, there are very few threads on this.
Have you found any solution yet?

  • Calendar schedule blank. All appts disappeared from 3g iphone calendar synced to yahoo. After Yahoo corrected error message on their website and I re-synced my iphone, calendar reappears but will not allow edit from iphone. I can't find settings to change

Calendar schedule blank. All appts disappeared from 3g iphone calendar synced to yahoo. After Yahoo corrected error message on their website and I re-synced my iphone, calendar reappears but will not allow edit from iphone. I can't find settings within Yahoo or within my iphone to alter editing options.
How can I get access to edit and delete the Yahoo calendar from my iphone? I never schedule anything from the Yahoo webpage. All my appointments and reminders are scheduled from the iphone.
    iOS 4.2.1 (8C148a)

My Yahoo email account worked just fine on my iPhone 4S  for the last 2 months. Then this morning I started receiving the apple.imap.mail,yahoo error.  I tried all of the steps above in solving the yahoo email issue including numerous hard re-sets and deletions of my yahoo account settings without any success. So I gave up trying to use the default Yahoo setup option.  I added my Yahoo account back as an "other" type email account and then had the option to choose to set it up as a "POP" account instead of an IMAP type. I then just used the server settings recommended from Yahoo Help for a Yahoo Plus Email POP (or just google yahoo plus email pop settings). This works and I am back in business.
I'm not sure if this will work for yahoo mail classic accounts.
Frustrating that this issue seems to have been going on for quite awhile and Apple still as not made any acknowledgement of this issue or proposed a fix for those of us that can not resolve the issue with a reset.

  • Why doesn't my iPhone calendar sync with my Mac-neither ICloud or USB connections work.

My iPhone calendar will not sync with my MacPro either by iCloud or USB connection.

Let's compare the settings on the Mac, I'm also using iCal on my MacBook Pro OSX10.9.5.
iCal/Settings/Accounts -> iCloud CalDAV selected and activated, set to "push"
    On the phone:
Settings/Mail, contacts, calendars: Syncing all events in calendar.
And in calendar app "iCloud"->"All calendars" selected.
I have no calendars selected in "On my iPhone"
Are you also syncing contacts via iCloud? If yes, does it work between the Mac and iPhone?

  • How do i get calendar syncing recurring events from outlook to iphone to handle daylight saving time

When I sync recurring events of my PC Outlook on to the iPhone calendar they appear one hour later during summer i.e. between Mar 26th and October 27. I have a weekly thing every wednesday at 8pm that appears at 9pm in summer - so outlook seems to be sending the info in UTC time but the IPhone isn't compensating for summer time.

What do you mean "correctly". If I enter a recurring (weekly) event in Outlook at say 8pm every Monday from February till December, then Outlook calendar propagates it at 8pm every Monday from February till December, and I can see it on each Monday regardless of whether it's standard time or summer time. However when I sync with the iPhone calendar through iTunes it transmits just the start date/time and end date, and the iPhone then recreates the series of events (provable because it creates occurences that I have deleted on Outlook). However it propagates the UTC time at the start date, and gets confused by the change to Summer Time in March (and Ocotber). The iphone "corrects" the (UTC) time for Summer Time so it starts at 8pm, all summer the event appears at 7pm, and goes back to 8 in November. I have tested across both boundaries - if a recurrence starts in summer time at 8pm then from November it gets an hour later, 9pm. And you can't solve it by turning off Local Time handling on the iPhone because then all individual events through the summer are an hour out. This is a bug.
Workaround - enter separate recurrent events for each time period, so in a calendar year 3 events: Jan-end March, April-end October, Nov-Dec

  • Iphone Calendar -  .ics - Wrong Time - IOS5 - 4S

I also made a previous post a new message see below
I think I have the same issue, on my iphone and also agree appears this is a multi year issue
    Details:
    - Phone - Iphone4s
    - IOS 5
    - Exchange is not used on the target - me or calendar is kept only on the phone. - Small company example.
Appointments from Exchange outside users, from another timezone then mine, get imported (opening the .ics file) incorrectly with the wong time (or time offset).  My issue appears that the time used in the body of the email is always used, rather then the the time relative to my location.  I have called Verizon, and Apple and they were not able to help.  This appears a bug, and the unforunately the reason I will be returning my iphone.  Very sad, as I like my iphone, but getting the correct times on my meetings in critical, and based on what I read an issue that has stumped apple for a few years.  Sad as it does not appear that complicated.
    To reproduce:
    - Open Outlook (web or thick click) - testdd in on the Outlook web client and change timezone (say to mountain time)
    - Create a meeting invite and send to your iphone email address (my timezone is in eastern time)
    - Open the .ics and the time will be incorrect, the appiontment will also be locked (another annoyance).
On a side note, I also noticed .ics will not update exiting appiontments, take the example of an appointment time changing, another problem.

This fixed it for me ( I have iphone 5s, but had the same problem with 4s) =
    settings-mail-contacts-calendars-time zone support- "off"
settings-general-date&time-set auotmatically-on ( and time zone set as appropriate).
After turning the time zone support "off" , my calendar was correct. It reflected the change on the event instantly but took a minute or two to update the scheduled taskes ( the little section under the calendar itself)
When it was "on" it showed the time for events as pst., then when I turned it "off", it showed the event at my local time(mountain).
hope this works for you guys. best of luck

  • Iphone calendar displaying wrong times in day/week view

I work a lot of night shifts and consequently I input a lot of night shifts to my iphone calendar. They usually work. However, in a couple of weekends time I have some nights which I have input as starting on 30th march 20.45 ending 31st march 08.00, but are showing as starting 30th march 8am ending 20.45!30th march in any of the graphic views. In the event the times and dates are correct
I've tried deleting and reinputting, tinkering with the time zone and more but nothing is working and it's driving me spare!
    Suggestions please!

    Never use  "Timezone support";  Settings/MailContactsCalendars/Calendars.
When the settings are correct in the event, and not corresponding in the display:
Do a "reset": hold the Power Button and the Home Button at the same time, keep holding, when you see the white apple logo appear, let go and let the 5s start.

  • Outlook 2003 + iPhone calendar sync problem solved

Here is how I solved my sync problem. Seems a lot of people have the same problem here with Outlook sync suddenly not working after it worked fine for a long time.
I've had Outlook 2003 calendar sync with my iPhone for a few month without any problem, but a few days ago the sync suddenly stopped without any error message. iTunes Diagnostic found no problem and I followed all the steps that Apple outlines to fix the problem but nothing worked (TS2776).
As Apple asked to, I created a new user account on my Windows machine and setup a few test calendar entries to sync with my iPhone. That all worked fine.
So I did what Apple doesn't tell you, and I copied my original Outlook Data file (.PST) over to my new user account and tried to sync that one. Now this didn't work. So I knew the problem lies somewhere in my PST file.
I have then tried to create a new one from scratch in my original Windows account, and copy all the data over. Again, it didn't work. So I emptied the file again, and copied all my calendar entries over to the new PST file in batches (first 10, then another 10, etc).
What I found at the end is that one single calendar entry I created a few days ago caused my sync to stop working. Once I removed this entry, everything worked fine again. Don't ask me what was wrong with it (I made a backup just in case Apple wants to see it), but now everything works again.
If you want to save some time to find which one it is, you may start deleting entries that you created just recently before it stopped working.
    Hope that helps.

Hi im having the same problem. I use outlook 2003 on windows xp and until recently my sync (using usb) was working fine. Now it would seem that calendar items are no longer syncing. can you give any further details of the calendar entry which was causing your problem? im wondering if it was added on a certain date perhaps.
I am running the inbox repair tool to see if my pst file has any problems but would appreciate any other help in the mean time.
    Cheers

  • Outlook 2007 and iPhone Calendar All-Day events not displaying correctly

I recently took the 3.1.3 update for my iphone and have since noticed that syncing all-day events from my Outlook 2007 exchange environment to the iphone is not working correctly. The all-day flag on the iphone is not being checked, thus the event shows up all over the calendar instead of just a single item at the top of the calendar. This only happens for multi-day events. Single-day, all day events show fine. Here's the tests I did:
    1. Created a single day, all-day event for tomorrow June 18 in Outlook 2007. Made sure that they all-day checkbox was checked in Outlook. Waited for the sync and it shows up fine in iPhone calendar. There is a single line at the top of the "Day" view that lists the event. When you look at the event, the all-day checkbox is checked in iphone calendar.
    2. Next I updated the event in Outlook to make it a multi-day, all day event. I changed the end date to be June 19. I made sure to leave the all day checkbox checked in Outlook. Once synced, the all day checkbox on the iphone is now unchecked and as a result the event takes up the whole "Day" view for both days.
Is there a solution for this? Only seen this since I updated to the 3.1.3 firmware. All events show up the right way in Outlook. It is only the iPhone calendar that shows them wrong. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Same problem here.
All Day events entered in Outlook 2007 on my work machine that have ALL DAY checked and are only on that ONE Day, seem to come out fine. If however we have an all-day event that goes multiple days, then it enters it on my iphone taking up 00:00-00:00, which is very messy if you have two ALL-day envents on the same day (when tracking different personnel for example).
I have noticed the real annoying item though is that changing it on my iPhone 4 directly, that once I put in the right start and end dates, and choose ALL DAY, about 5 seconds later it actually changes the START DAY! This makes you go back to change the start day, then it changes the end day so you change that, and now finally all sorted.
This NEVER happened on my iPhone3G that I have used with Excahgne for over two years now. Only since I got my iPhone4.
    PLEASE Apple, fix this!!!!

  • IPhone calendar sync not working after upgrade to 9.2(61)

I updated my iTunes software and now the calendar on my iPhone won't sync properly.
When I change an event on the iPhone and then sync, it doesn't update in the calendar on my computer and it changes the event back to where it was before I changed it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
    Margie

Had same problem....Apple tech guided me through this procedure that worked fine...
    1) Sync your phone so that everything on your computer is as it should be.
    2) RESTORE phone to factory settings. This is a choice in iTunes under the Summary tab when you have your iPhone device selected.
    3) During this procedure you will be asked if you want to SET AS NEW PHONE. It is important to select YES to this option. This procedure takes some time...15-30 minutes
    4) Set up your options for syncing from iTunes under the Info tab. If you change any settings here and ALLOW it, syncing will automatically happen. Make sure your calendar is being synced.
    5) Check out the results...should be good.....I needed to sync a number of times to get everything back to normal.
    6) Since doing this, the calendar syncs as it should and did before the upgrade, alone with everything else I want to sync.
    Good Luck

  • Outlook/ IPhone calendar syncing issue - adding one hr to EST.

Is there a fix for syncing Outlook 2003 calendar and the IPhone 4s? It continues to add 1 hour to the phone calendar - I have synced it both ways with the Time Zone Support on and off still no change...this is getting frustrating...any help?

I am having this problem also. It happens with re-occuring events. The Outlook calendar is correct but the iPhone calendar is changing the events by one hour. I have tried the fixes suggested elswehere regarding changing / setting the timezones but as the OP stated this is not fixing the problem.
    Apple please address this.

  • Issue with iPhone Calendar sync

My office uses MS Exchange account (Outlook) for emails & calendar. I use Google Calendar Sync app to sync my outlook calendar events to my personal gmail calendar (1-way sync: Outlook to Google). Everything was fine until I bought the iPhone 4S. Apparently, when I open any event on the iPhone Calendar app, it automatically Accepts the invitation and sends a Accept notification to the meeting organizer & my personal gmail address is being added into the Attendees list of the organizer. So when I open any appointment on my iPhone to even read it, it sends a notification from my personal account to an office colleague or worse, to a business customer. Is there a way for iPhone to stop accepting or declining meetings & simply show my calendar items whatever status they are in. As I sync regularly, I want my iPhone calendar to display the exact information which is in my Outlook calendar and do nothing else.

This sounds just like the problem I am having since downloading the latest version of i-Tunes. Initially i-tunes wasn't recognised so after reinstalling i-Tunes and it's 5 other associated programmes I found that there was a cmpatability isuue (Right click i-tunes icon and go to compatability tag) Once this was sorted my Outlook calendar would not sync with my i-phone. 2 weeks later I am told it is because I have Outlook 2002 and need to upgrade. Frustrating as it worked ok before the latest upgrade.

  • IPhone Calendar sync broken

Since a few weeks I only see one iCloud calendar on my iPhone.
I checked: all my devices use the same [email protected] address, and in iCloud.com I can see all my calendars.
However on my iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1 I only see one calendar from iCloud. I tried a few things without success (each time I got a different calendar on my iPhone, but always only one):
disabling iCloud calendar, reboot, enabling iCloud calendar, reboot
removing iCloud account, reboot, adding iCloud account, reboot
factory-resetting iPhone and restoring from iCloud
Any tips what I can do to get all my calendars on my iPhone?

I am having this problem also. It happens with re-occuring events. The Outlook calendar is correct but the iPhone calendar is changing the events by one hour. I have tried the fixes suggested elswehere regarding changing / setting the timezones but as the OP stated this is not fixing the problem.

  • IPhone calendar sync issues with Outlook

I have a problem with syncing my iPhone calendar with my Outlook 2003 calendar.
For example, let's say I had a 12pm appointment today displaying both in my outlook and iPhone. However, when I sync my iPhone after the event e.g. at 3pm, the appointment entry in the Outlook is removed, whilst the appointment entry on my phone remains. I did not edit either of the appointment entries. Even if I re-sync my phone, the 12pm appointment still remains in my phone whilst it's missing in my Outlook.
Are there others encountering the same problem as well? Any ways to fix this problem? Thanks

I've talked to them. Very helpful, but no solution. The iPhone Specialist I spoke to had not heard of the problem before. At one point he put me on hold and came back to say that he had checked with some people and they had heard of this "emerging" problem but had no answers. He admitted that all problems are "emerging" problems, given that the product has been out for only 2 weeks. We tried a variety of things with no success. I had to tell him about the manual workaround - going into each appointment, setting it to recur, etc. This does make it reappear, but isn't practical for those of us with tons of appointments. I'm not shocked that they don't want to acknowledge this, given that calendar synching is so important to their targeted business customer base. It's hard to believe that they could have screwed up something that every other manufacturer seems to be able to do well and that is at the same time so critical to business users.
