TS4000 Where is the day of reminder?

In iOS 6 I liked to set birthday reminders for day of @ 9:00am. iOS 7 removed this option. WHY???!!!

I just tried creating an all-day event in the calendar using iOS 7. When I tap "Alert" I see this that 9:00 a.m. is an option. You might try setting these up as calendar events rather than reminders if Siri doesn't work.

Sometimes I can't get out of Day view in iCal. There is no where on the screen to select month view, even when I close it out and go back into iCal.

Give this a try:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder: User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try full screen again.
NOTE: For Mavericks and Yosemite, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

Hello Schimi. The Time Capsule is a kind of product that offer you two possibility:
- To use the TC as a router or as an external HD.
The difference between WPA and WPA 2 are:

I'll get 20-30 minutes of work done and then a sync or something comes on, the color wheel of death shows up, and my productivity is shot. I have to shut the computer down the hard way! when it comes back up, it is still either frozen or slow. I've checked in at the genius bar and all they say is that there have been some problems that Apple is trying to fix. It effects Mail, Contacts, Safari, Calendar....yeah, pretty much everything. My iPhone and iPad are not effected as much so I end up doing what I can with them. I've seen the blogs out there and understand that many have the same problem. I have been waiting to read about a fix but I have found nothing! Any ideas?

Not enough free space on the startup disk can slow the system down.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.
For startup issues... open System Preferences > Users & Groups - Login Items. Delete any apps listed there then restart your mac.
And disable the Lion "resume" feature.
Open System Preferences > General
Deselect: Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps
And Spotlight may be indexing... you can turn that off > Turning Off Spotlight | Mac Tricks And Tips

Where are the Experts on these so-called "Expert Days"?? I had a post of for OVER a week, including a report with the subject calling attention to these "Experts" and NO ANSWER??

Reminder can't be set to On the Day at 9 am

Since doing the upgrade (which I wish I could remove), my All Day events in my calendar no longer have the option to set the reminder for On the Day at 9 am. I only have the options for No Reminder or various times before the day.
Anyone know how to restore this feature?

indeed once editing a calendar event, I can set a reminder at "6AM the day before", or "noon the day before", but not "9AM the day before".
That being said, when you open the calendar and to to the options, in the "General" section there is an option named "All-Day Meeting Reminder" and there is still that option "1 Day Before at 9:00". So I guess it can be the default.

Where is the small ALARM 'icon' in iCal day view Events??

I am almost certain that with iCal 2 (Tiger) when I set an alarm (and I set a lot of alarms)- in the Day view when I looked at the event I could see a small alarm 'icon' or picture or visual indicator (whatever one would call it) that that event indeed had an alarm set.
But for iCal 3.0.6 with Leopard 10.5.6 (which I installed last week) - the events show no indication of whether there is an alarm set or not.
How to get this nice little feature back?
ALSO: Is there a way to do a search to find just events which have an alarm set (i.e. find all events which have alarms)?

I too miss the alarm icon feature, as it is now cumbersome to verify whether an event has an alarm or not.

Where did the calendar list go in the day view?

In Yosemite, it has happened - the list view is gone from the day view in calendar.
iOS7 took it away, and they restored it because of popular demand.
Let the requests begin to restore it in OS X calendar.
You can never see all the appointments in a day without it, even on my Thunderbolt display.

Where did the Stream 7 drivers go?

The support page for downloading drivers for the HP Stream 7 tablet (any model) has disappeared from the HP website.
Navigating to the HP Stream 7 support page, Selecting "Software and Drivers", then "Go directly to software and drivers page", Operating System "Windows", then Version "Windows 8.1" (the only choices), then clicking the Update button, gives a message "No software or drivers are available for this product with the selected operating system. Please make a different selection, or visit the product homepage. " This happens using Firefox, IE 11, or Chrome.
These drivers have been missing for at least a few weeks, and multiple forum users have also had no luck finding them. Before that time the drivers seemed to come and go randomly, but they've stayed missing now for weeks. One dorum user has posted direct FTP links to the drivers, and they might be the latest version, but not really sure.
Where did the drivers go, HP?

I recently purchased FaceTime from the Application Store. After approx. ±10 meg, the application resets and starts downloading again. I have tried to download it at different times of the day but with the same results. I have been in contact with Apple support and have tried different options with the same result. I cannot download a new Version because in my Purchased List the applicaiton (FaceTime) is still there, and because I have halted it it tells me to resume. I can’t, because the same thing is going to happen. I have tried all the various troubleshooting tips supplied by my ISP and also Apple Support with no luck. I am currently working on a IMac OS 10.6.7. Has anybody got any ideas? Any suggestion would help. Thanks

Not much consolation but even new products can have issues and might need a trip to a store to return/replace.
The reason i asked about the LED on the AppleTV is that occasionally it thinks it's paired with a specific remote and ignores others - the unpair keypress I described is quick and free.

Is there any way to enable rSAP, use the iPhone as a modem, create sms folders, and show the day's calender on the home screen?

Had iPhone for a while and generally happy, but it seems I still need to keep my old nokia E72 because I cannot seem to use the iPhone as a modem, nor does it support rSAP.
Also, while I like the threaded sms view, I'd also like the option to create sms folders to stash away my banking sms info, all of which comes from different numbers, and filled the sms inbox with hundreds of messages.
Lastly, having the meeting for the day diplayed somewhere on the home screen would be great if there were a way to do it. Yes, I can go into calender easy enough, but unless I develop the habit of checking it all the time, I often forget about a meeting whereas on the old nokia, it was always displayed.
What gives with the lack of flash support? Maybe ol Steve dislikes adobe, but it seems like a serious lack to me. Even the old nokia has some flash support.
Given that, I must say I love the seperate calenders and contacts. It's great to be able to keep home contacts seperate from work ones, but still have them on the same phone. Email is great two - full html support seems like a given but it works really well.

rSAP has largely been supplanted by ABAP, which the iPhone supports. Most modern smartphones, including the iPhone do NOT store any information on the SIM.
SMS inboxes. Not much to say. I've never had a desire to do this. I understand it could be useful, but it's unlikely to change.
As for meetings on the home screen... Wait for iOS 5
Flash: it's not JUST that Steve doesn't like flash. Adobe has failed to produce a workable version of Flash for iOS. Blame has to go to both sides. I say good riddance to it.

ICal shows "ee" for the day in detail menu

When I try to create a new event, iCal doesn't allow me to change settings on the day, instead filling the day placeholder with "ee" (example: 2011-05-ee).
The values for year and month can be changed and making a simple day event appears correctly in the iCal "month" view.
However, I cannot set events with a time span of more than 1 day.
This being said, iTunes also messes up import and last-played dates (approx. 2 weeks late).
The clock in System Preferences adjusts correctly, though.
Anybody else have this issue?

You can change this in System Preferences, Language & Text.
Go to System Preferences > Language & Text > Formats tab and change where it says Custom to your location. Then re-open iCal.

when ical is opened the day under the year 2007 remains the same Sat. AM. Is there any way to change this back so that it lists the correct day and time?

Are you describing the "Day" view?
Can you use Mac 101 to point out in greater detail where your problem is happening?

Errors when in Month view and how do I show (highlight) the day selected?

There are some annoying 'bugs' in my ical. When I are working in month view and I select a day in that month to copy or enter an item to there is no indication that ical has that day selected. When I paste some data to that day thinking I have it selected it, it may be in the correct day or in the previously selected day - surely this is an oversight on Apples part or am I missing something here?
Also sometimes after pasting data to the correct day iCal will 'update' and then send the data back to the day I copied it from!!
Any help appreciated.

You don't need to convert to a string and back again to do that. Use TRUNC to get the right day, and date arithmetic to get the right time, like this:
UPDATE fc_gq_source_analysis
SET     effective_date = TRUNC (sample_date, 'MONTH')
                             + (sample_date - TRUNC (sample_date))
WHERE   sample_type = 'C'
TRUNC (sample_date, 'MONTH')        is midnight on the 1st of the month that you want.
sample_date - TRUNC (sample_date)   is the time that you want, expressed as a number of days (e.g., 9/24 of a day).

How do you set a calendar alarm for a specific time on the day of the event without it being an all-day event

Does anyone know how to set a calendar alert at a specific time on the day of the event.
So that the alert date adjusts accordingly if you were to copy and past it to another date.
The custom alert function kind of does this, but because it is an absolute alert (not relative) it will still refer to the date you initially set it to when you copy and paste it to another date. So this creates more work where you would have to go and manually change all the custom alerts. I have potential
Anyone know how to set this kind of calendar alert?

Greetings: Set the alarm to message you (on your screen) and then snooze it every day for 15 days, or, set 15 separate alarm messages. There is probably an AppleScript somewhere on the web too, try searching that way as well.
