TS4002 Can I have associated email accounts in iCloud?

Under Mobile Me, I had a primary email address that I used, and an associated account that my son used. I never saw his email, and he never saw mine. When I converted to iCloud, my son's email address seems to have gone away. Is there a way to have an associated account in iCloud? The support pages are not clear about that.

Your son's account was presumably either an 'email-only' account (these have not been available to create for several years) or a sub-account on a Family Pack.
In either case, it should have been separately migrated to iCloud in the same way that you migrated your own account. As you have not done this, it's no longer possible and the contents of his account will have been deleted.
He may be able to re-activate the address by creating a new iCloud account using it; however he can only do this on Lion 10.7.2 or above (or an iOS5 device). He should go to System Preferences>iCloud and log in with his @me.com address; this may enable him to open an account with that as the email address. However if he had stored emails on his account previously there is no way he can retrieve these.

You can have more than one mail account. To add more, you can do it in two places:
1. Open System Preferences > Internet Accounts, and press the + button.
2. Open Mail and go to Mail menu (on the menu bar) > Add Account.
Respecting to iCloud, you can have more than one mail address if you upgraded from MobileMe or if you used iCloud before the iOS 6 launch. In both cases, you will have a @me.com and a @icloud.com address

You can open and use all the different accounts at the same time in different tabs. Please note that Firefox and other browsers are only for displaying the web pages, email pages etc. The actual emails, settings etc. are all stored at the web site/email site and are received and displayed from there. To make changes you may have to look in the settings inside the relevant email account.

That looked helpful so I followed the Restore directions you sent me to. Now the trouble is that I've wiped all my data (having backed up first) and when I come to restore from my backup it again asks me for a password - which I haven't set.
I have definitely not lost any password - I keep all of them in an mSecure file vault. I have a record of a passcode for the phone itself but that does not work.
Is there any way i get get inside my iPhone Backup and find the mysterious password? None of the ones i use work!

I setup icloud in my iphone with an email account [email protected] but this one is not the same that my original me.com email which is linked to my mac, when I transfer my mobilme account to Icloud my original me.com email is the one linked with my company email and is in my macboodair but is not sincronizing with my iphone because the me.com email on the iphone is different to my original me.com email.
HELP please.

She just needs to sign up for iCloud in her own user account on your Mac.

iWeb is an application to create and publish webpages.
It does not deal with e-mail either with MobileMe or 3rd party accounts.

You cannot add another account to an iCloud account. You can add up to three 'email aliases' to an account- these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.

Otherwise you can create a new iCloud account and add it to the mail app on your Mac or iOS device, or sign into it separately at icloud.com.

iPhone mirrors the content of your accounts. You can turn off that account by going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > account > turn off mail. Then access your email account via webmail/website and delete them there. Once you turn on the account again in your iPhone it wont download them all. Otherwise to leave it downloading then mark them all read once downloaded.

How can another user on my system share their document if they cannot access a public drop box, do not have an email account setup on the system and we don't want to use iwork?

Please help. My DS created a document under his login on my PowerBook and now, I cannot seem to access it. He doesn't have an email account of his own, I can't seem to save it as a public document in a drop box like I can from my own login and we do not want to use iwork. Is there a way to save it so that I can access it from my login to email to his teacher. I don't want to have to retype it into Pages under my login.

Save the document from his account to an external drive or thumb drive.
Set the permissions (using Finder > Get Info) for "Everyone" to Read and Write.
Your DS will likely be the owner of the file, so you may need his login password to change the permissions.

Sometimes deleting the account and then re-creating it can solve this issue
Write down all the information in accounts before doing this
Highlight the account on the left and click the minus button
Then click the plus button to add the new account and follow the prompts

I have two email accounts associated with one iTunes account with two passwords, I guess it happened when i changed my internet service provider.

Could be, but i do have an old email account, whis is not used, changed carrriers. I have noticed that some songs have a cloud with a line through it. I try to play it and a dialog box from Itunes pops up: "THIS COMPUTER IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO PLAY "THE THINGS WE DO FOR LOVE(SOUND TRACK VERSION, would you like to authorize it? THe apple ID haxe my old email address " and an empty block asking for my password. Well all i know is when you start trying to authorze with an old ID or something of that nature, the account is block and you need to do a new setup again. And who knows what other problems that will cause,
I just want the songs (i think there are several songs) assosiated with this old account to move to my new account.
Any ideas?

If I have two email accounts, one personal hotmail account and one MS Exchange work account on my iPhone 4s, How can I setup individual notifications for each account? Fore example, if I get a work email, I want to hear a DING, DING....If I get a personal email, I want to hear a BEEP, BEEP. Right now, any email from any account has the same notification. I want work incoming email notification to be different than personal incoming notification. The only semi-workaround I've seen is just disable any notification for the Hotmail account, so only work emails would notify. But then I don't know when I get a personal email. Even the lowely Blackberry Torch 9800 has this feature..not iPhone 4s??
