Why can't i access iCloud now i have changed my email address?
My email was hacked nand blocked so had to change my email address.. So i had to change my apple id as well. However, now i have done that it won't let me access my icloud as it keeps telling me to enter a password for my OLD email address, and it won't let me change it to my new one. I have some VERY important notes backed up onto icloud that I need, but now can't get them. (One was the security key for my iMac..) Is there any way i can get all my documents etc/iCloud back??
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again. -

If you change your email, you do not need to "change" your AppleID. Just edit your email(s) on your Apple ID by logging in to your AppleID account. You should always use the same AppleID for Apple Services (iCloud, iTunes etc) and multiple ID will cause problems and confusion in the future.

You need to use the old ID and password to delete the iCloud account. After you delete the old account, you can sign in with the new ID in iCloud.

If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.

(If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device. -
I've just updated and installed Mountain Lion. I've clicked for iCloud for Mail. The correct information in the email address, Full name and Incoming mail server panes are greyed out, and I can get no further in bring my iCloud a/c online. Any ideas? Thanks.
They are grayed out because they are automatically set up whey you check Mail in System Preferences. If you didn't do that, go back and do so and your iCloud email account will be set up automatically.

My original apple id is not an email address .
I bought iCloud memory via that same account no problem.
When setting up iCloud on iPad you cannot have a primary iCloud account unless it has an email address .
Made new account as per instruction ie [email protected] works fine
BUT as I want to utilise the money spent on the additional memory it would be great to use the initial account set up as my primary HOWEVER as far as I have tried the initial apple ID CANNOT be changed. If you updated the old ID at one point to create your current iCloud ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I can count the send item. But let me try to explain why did I ask this question.
I had a trouble in sending e-mails from icloud on 22/2 and when I saw in my send item there were no emails.
But the mesgs to whom I emailed received and out of which only few of them didn't got the email. So I wanted to know the log abt the outflow of the mesg with subject and the receipants email id and the list with attachment or not.
How and where will I get the information apart from send item and draft mesg and the outflow undelivered?
