TS4002 change my e-mail for apple ID

I want to change my apple-id e-mail adress. How can I do this without loosing my items?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only change your ID if it is a non Apple address.
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple,  Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

    The information will be sent to your AppleID, if you are talking about iTunes and App store.  iCloud you can at additional e-mail addresses.  but to see the e-mail address you will need to open the programs and then click account then login.

    Yes, you can update the primary email address on an account (as long as the address that you want to change to isn't currently a primary email address on another account) by logging into the account via the Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes, by logging into it via the 'manage your apple id' button on http://appleid.apple.com, or by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Stores on an iOS device and logging into it

    To change the iCloud ID on your device go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.

    I just purchased an iphone. While trying to install new apps, i figured out that i need an apple ID. So I made one through itunes as suggested by the manuals. All seemed to be working fine, up to the point of receiving the verification email. I put the email address I click to send me the email but no mail is delivered. I changed the email address and the same. No mail delivered. I checked the spam, no mail delivered. And I cannot verify my account and I cannot install apps and this is sad for a purchase like this. I also tried to find emails for support but nothing. Can anyone help me? Can anyone tell me what to do or provide me with a mail from apple support to ask them? If someone from the tech support is reading this please assist me. Thank you

    I am having the same problem. I used the online chat option with Apple Support, and they rectified the issue from their side.

    If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    Check your account settings that you did not put in a typo for your rescue?

    The short answer is you can't.
    Even Apple Support can't do it for you.  As silly as it may sound, after a long discussion about this issue with Apple Support, I resumed that, in order to use Apple email services, I'll need to login using a Microsoft email...
    After a short silence, the answer from the support service was yes.
    It's a shame because iMessage require your AppleID and not your iCloud email.  So people need to email you at me@com but message you @live.com.  It a serious lack of integretion...

  • After changing my primary email for Apple ID, iCloud has issues

    I recently changed my apple ID primary email address as the old email address is not obsolete which meant I had to turn off iCloud on all devices and log back in so that the username/email was correct for password verification. Now that I have done this, iCal has 7 calendars, reminders has about 4-5 reminders lists and contacts has about 500+ blank contacts.
    When I go to delete these extra calendars, reminders and contacts. They delete but within a few seconds they reappear. I've rebooted, I've tried deleting them through icloud.com and also directly from each device. I have 3 devices using icloud. I have turned off 2 of them at a time and tried deleting from the remaining device.
    Has anyone got a solution please?!!?? Starting to get frustrating.

    The contacts part of my post above has been resolved. I don't think it was related. I am still unfortunately stuck with additional reminders lists and calendars that do not stay deleted.

    You may be able to contact Apple via phone and have them reset your security questions.
