You can set up a hotmail exchange account on your phone to sync your contacts, as explained here: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/32784/sync-hotmail-with-your-iphone-or-ipod-touch -with-exchange-activesync/. If you then want these to sync with iCloud, you will have to use an app like Speed Names to move or copy the contacts to your iCloud group, then turn iCloud your exchange syncing for contacts Off and iCloud syncing for contacts to On (in settings>iCloud) and when prompted, choose Merge. (iCloud only syncs contacts in the iCloud group.)

I use only Photoshop and Fireworks from my CS3 cd. It is not compatible with 8.1 windows. I rarely use Fireworks for printing, but rather to render or perfect my images. I have used Fireworks for about 17 years and just feel comfortable with it. I use Photoshop as well, and see the simularities. I see the handwriting on the wall with Fireworks maybe going to greener pastures, but still feel comfortable with it. I received my original Macromedia cd from my Son as a gift and another gift years later. I am launching a new art form, "Conceptual Art" on my site, and require Fireworks. I'm using windows 7, trying to download pictures from my canon 5d mark 2, but when I click import, the camera does not appear. I've tried changing USB ports, switching the camera on and off, trying a different USB cord, tried a different camera, but nothing. Please help! This problem only started a few days ago on lightroom 3.6, upgraded to 5.5, but still not working. Thanks.
Can you see the Canon EOS camera and image files using Windows Explorer? If not disconnect the camera, close all applications' shutdown Windows, and TURN OFF the power to your system and ALL connected devices. Disconnect all phones, iPads, and any other USB devices and restart your system.
Retry Windows Explorer and see if your camera is showing. If so try LR import again. -

(1) You should not need to use Windows on your Mac unless you want to do so.
I'm unsure what a "luminex camera" is, but you can probably use your Mac's iPhoto app with it.
Launching iPhoto and search iPhoto > Help for "import" (without the quote marks.)

unfortunately, adobe only offers cross-grades for current versions of software, and not previous versions. so, you cannot use cs4 for mac. -
Basically the title explains my question. How many times can the photos hop code be used? Like can I download it on one computer then later download it on a different computer?
You're allowed two installations/registrations. Anything above that requires deregistration on one of those computers.
Take note that if this is Photoshop CC, it's as easy as signing out on a system; there aren't any serial numbers involved as it's all tied to your Adobe ID. -

Upgraded Windows - now can't download.
Upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista. Now can't download from public library. Error msg: E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12. Have uninstalled and re-installed ADE 2.0.
The upgrade probably confised the ADE registration.

Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.
Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help, and indeed installation can even trigger this state.
Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.
A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.
Another is "E_AUTH_NOT_READY"
This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).
Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your (old) Adobe ID.
In extreme cases on the mac, the following extra step has helped some people. Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash. The message can also be consistent with disk/file damage.
The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -

Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
