I can't find my pictures on icloud where are they?? i have photo stream on but I can't find icloud on my computer to make sure it is on! It isn't listed under the network and internet like the "help" option said!

    Do the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
    2 - run Option #4, Rebuild Database.

  • I can't find icloud on my computer, it only shows mobile me...how do I add icloud

I have an iPad and purchased extra storage for iCloud for photo's, etc.  I cannot access it from my computer because I cannot find iCloud, I am only able to see Mobile Me

iCloud isn't something that you can selectively download, it comes with the lion operating system. I suspect you do not have the Lion operating system and would need to update your computer to it before you could use iCloud.

  • Can't find iCloud on my computer

I've updated the latest software update on my Mac OS X and I still don't have iCloud on there. How do I get this?

you can also look at the bottom right hand corner of the screen where the SYSTEM ICONS are located and click on the little arrow pointing upwards and it may be on that list.
Also, you can click on the start menu (the windows globe at the bottom left hand corner of your screen) and just type in "icloud" and the search will automatically locate it if it is installed on your system.
    May be?

  • I can't find iCloud on my Macbook

I have OS 10.7.4 but can't find iCloud on my computer.  I am missing something for sure.  I'm sure it will be a "DUH" moment, but I really need to get picture off of it from my iPhone.

Thanks, for some reason I could not get that to pop up in google...but once I posted the question, threads came up with the answer.  I finally found it...lol.  Had to upgrade iPhoto though....still found a way to charge me...lol

  • I can't find icloud in system preferences?

I can not find icloud in preferences? Do I need to do something. I did go to LION

Your profile states that you are using OSX 10.6.8. What exactly do you mean when you say "I did go to lion". Do you have lion or not, OSX 10.7.2 or better is required for iCloud.

  • I can't find Icloud!?

I have a one-year-old macbook pro with Mac OS X (10.6.8) and I want to sync it with my iphone with ICloud.
But I can't find ICloud on my macbook! Does someone know why I don't have Icloud on my macbook and how I can get it? Is there anyway to download it?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
iCloud only comes with OS X 10.7.2 or later.

  • TS4009 can`t find icloud

Can`t find iCloud in System Preferences or anywhere else .  I need to find it to upgrade the maile storage.  Any ideas where it might be?

iCloud requires OS X Lion (10.7.5) or higher.  If you’re running OS X 10.6.8 or earlier you will need to upgrade to OS X Lion higher in order to set up iCloud on your Mac.  First check to see if your system meets the system requirements to upgrade.
    Lion system requirements are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
    2GB of memory
    OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
    7GB of available space
Mountain Lion and Mavericks requirements are the same, as listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5842.
If you can run Mavericks, you can download a free upgrade from the Mac App Store.  If your system can only run Lion, you can go here to purchase a redemption code to download it from the Mac App Store.  If you prefer Mountain Lion for software compatibility reasons, you can go here to purchase a redemption code to download it from the Mac App Store.
After upgrading, you will find iCloud in System Preferences>iCloud on your Mac, and can set it up as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html.
Before upgrading, you may want to check the compatibility of your existing applications by checking here: http://roaringapps.com/apps:table.   Also be aware that older PPC programs such as AppleWorks and Office 2004 for Mac will not run on OS X Lion or higher.

  • HT203167 Hi, I've purchased a few films from itunes (and they are listed as Purchased in my account), but I can't find them on my computer or on my itunes account, and itunes wants me to pay for them again. How do I get around this?

Hi, I've purchased a few films from itunes (and they are listed as Purchased in my account), but I can't find them on my computer or my itunes account, and itunes wants me to pay for them again. How do I get around this? I've tried all the suggestions, and it's hugely frustrating.

If you are in the UK, and the film studio allows re-downloading, and you are signed in with the same account that you bought them with, then they might show under the Purchased link under Quinklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page for re-downloading - if they don't show then check to see if they are hidden (hiding and unhiding).
But you should be keeping and maintaining your own backup of your downloads and noy rely on being able to re-download any item as they are occasionally removed from the store by the content provider (film studio, tv company, record company etc).

  • HT1420 I can't find the "authorize this computer" on the itunes store

I can't find the "authorize this computer" on the itunes store

    Authorization and Deauthorization
Macs:  iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

Upgrading to Snow Leopard, Lion, or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
You can purchase Snow Leopard by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will receive physical media - DVD - by mail.
Third-party sources for Snow Leopard are:
    Snow Leopard from Amazon.com
    Snow Leopard from eBay
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
Be sure your computer meets the minimum requirements:
Apple - OS X Mountain Lion - Read the technical specifications.
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
      1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
      2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
      3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
      4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
      5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
      6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
      7. Xserve (Early 2009)
    Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps - App compatibility and feature support for OS X & iOS.
Am I eligible for the free upgrade?
See Apple - Free OS X Mountain Lion upgrade Program.
For a complete How-To introduction from Apple see Apple - Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mountain Lion.
Model Eligibility for Snow Leopard and Lion.

  • Firefox can't find itself on my computer!

Recently, every time I try to open a Firefox window, I get the error message
"Windows cannot find ‘C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe’. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search."
I have tried searching for the .exe file as suggested and found it, both by using the 'Search' option and just opening the program folder. Even using this icon to open (rather than the desktop shortcut) causes the same error message.
I have downloaded the latest version of Firefox to both my C: drive and my external F: drive, both with the same outcome.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
