Since you attempted to downgrade the phone, you have no warranty and your ability to get support here or from Apple has been forfeited.
You're on your own. A Missing IMEI is generally unfixable. Buy a new phone.

Palm Treo Pro - suddenly lost Messaging email and SMS?

Currently travelling overseas and no probs first few days but then was in Port Isaac with "no signal" and switching carriers and lost messaging - emails, sms etc. I can make outgoing calls and receive them but can't receive SMS. I can access web for weather updates, Facebook etc. I have done a few few soft resets with no success although one time I got an error message about device.exe - not every time though. The messaging won't work either through the nominated button or through the menu item. I do get the "thinking" whirling ball for 10s while it tries but nothing starts. Has my device.exe become corrupted somehow - can I replace it or do I need a hard reset? Should I install 6.5 if that is the case - don't really want to lose all contacts etc
Any comments appreciated - it is driving me nuts!

It is strange if web browsing works but not email. Unlike SMS, email should be using the same data connection as web. Are you roaming with your provider's SIM card or are you using a local SIM card?
I generally get a device.exe error if I close a program and it doesn't close correctly, or very occasionally if a program crashes for some other reason. I don't think I've seen it during startup. I doubt that the file has become corrupted, although I suppose it's possible.
There is no (official) 6.5 update for the Treo Pro.

TS4006 I lost my iPad and it's not showing up on the devices list of the Find my iPhone App

I lost my iPad and now it's not showing up on the Find my iPhone App devices list. I just have my iPhone and my iPad on it. I know that the app is enabled on my iPad b/c I have tested it from my iPad in the past. Any ideas why it's not showing up on the devices list? And how can I get it back on my device list so I can find it?

Is the app compatible with the iOS on the phone? Do you have automatic downloads enabled on the phone?

Lost Ipad today and erased on find my Iphone then later i found it before it was able to erase via wifi how can I reverse the request for erasing to keep all my current content the same

Today I lost my IPad and was FREAKING OUT !!!!! When a couple of store attendants told me to use the ICLOUD find my Iphone option in order to erase all the content just in case it fell into wrong hands. Within an hour via survelance video we located the ipad prior to being able to connect to internet and erase everything.
Now I am keeping the power off keeping it untouched or unerased, QUESTION TO COMMUNITY???? Is there a way for me to successfully avoid the erase process that is due to occurr once I power up and hit the WIFI???? Appreciate any input up front, BRfromGR

You cannot prevent it from being erased now. But surely you backup with iCloud or iTunes and/or sync with iTunes so when you get the iPad up and running again, just restore from your iCloud backup, or your iTunes backup and then sync with iTunes again and you will be OK.
If you don't backup or sync .... Well then you should probably think about doing so in the future. Out of the mouth of a Apple ......
If you erase then find your iOS device, you can restore the information on the device using iCloud Backup (if backup was turned on before you erased it) or iTunes. Help, lost all photos and texts while syncing new iphone

While syncing my husbands new iphone 3 on itunes I gained all the music but lost all photos and texts... also all the apps and contacts from my iphone were added to his phone. Need help mostly on how to recover the photos that were deleted, there were about 1,000 of them and I didn't realize it was happening until it was too late....

Where did the photos come from in the first place?

It sounds to me like after updating the iOS on your phone, you no longer have your numbers documents and photos.
I would next restore from the backup you created that night whether it was with iCloud or iTunes.

I pluged my iphone 4s into my computer to upload my photos...well it lost all my photos including lost voice mail i need for court hearing and took every information from my old phone wish was lost and upload all old stuff from old phone and now cant find current text messages, photos, or voice mail.....any ideas how to restore my current info back to my phone?

Its high time Apple need to solve this issue, it is annoying if the tones ( text, notification, news updates) repeats ...it doubles, tribles, and make n-times sound at last it plays the orginal tone...Please we request Apple to solve this issue !

I am getting a network connection lost message everytime I try to update to the newest Iphone software. Tried reinstalling ITunes, turning firewalls/Anti Virus on and off, and no luck. ANy other tips?

If you have forgotten your lockscreen password, connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:

Is there an easier way to see all my texts from one friend? The harder way is just clicking "see more messages" over and over again on the iPhone.

I would like to be able to see (and possibly print out) all the texts that I have exchanged with one of my contacts. Right now, I only know how to see the older texts by clicking "see more messages" every time I want to go back further in our history.

If a password is filled then that can only be done if the password is saved in the password manager.<br />
If only the name is filled then that can be done by form fill.

My downloaded message tones aren't working???....

Hiya.... ive downloaded from itunes store some ringtones and message tones on my iPhone 5 and where I'm having no problems at all with the ringtones no matter what I try the message tones keeps defaulting back to the generic 'ding' although still showing in settings as a different downloaded tone??.... Anyone any ideas of how to fix this or is my phone 'on its way out'???...
