Sounds like your phone was hacked to unlock it from the original carrier and when you update your IOS it locked back up to that carrier.

I have the iPhone4. It wont stay on unless it's plugged into the charger. When on the charger it doesn't get service or connect to wifi. Sometimes, even on the charager it shuts off. Note: It's always on 100% to 90%. How do I fix this?

As stated. I have the iPhone4, I've had it personally for a year now. It's a hand-me-down phone from my uncle who had for for at least two years. For an old phone it worked perfectly. The ocassional hang up on the caller when I try to lock it, but overall it worked perfectly.
Now, it started to glitch out a lot. From not letting me unlock my phone for the few minutes, to now shutting off on on regardless of where it's at. I started noticing that my phone would shut itself off, even at 40% when I'm at work. To fix it I would have to find a charger, plug it in for a few moments and it would turn back on. I would be cautious not to put it upsidedown otherwise it'd shut off again.
As of last night, ((9/18/13 )) My phone turned off. I've already gone through the charade numerous times. So I put it on my charger but this time when my phone turned on I didn' have service and it didnt get wifi. Even the red buttons/notifications on my phone were there but didn't read any numbers. Obvioulsy I couldn't make calls or even send a text messages. Sometimes when it turns on I can't even use my apps. Even when fully charged, the moment the chargers is slightly out my phone shuts off as if it died
Now, my phone even on the charger shuts on and off. I'm unable to use apps. I get no service or wifi.
Is this fixable? Or has my phone had it's last Hoorah?

Wism Controller 2 doesn't get service port IP but Controller 1 does

I followed the documentation for setting up the WiSM. Controller 1 is up and fine. I see in dhcp bindings, that Controller 2 is getting a DHCP address and when I "session slot 9 pro 2" it tries to connect to that dhcp address, but on a "show wism status" the service-port of controller 2 is 0.0.0.0

Syncing albums from iPhoto to iPhone doesn't get complete albums

I am trying to sync an albums from iPhoto on a Macbook Pro to an iPhone 4 and I'm running into a problem where some albums are only partially transferred to the iPhone. Eg, there's an album in iPhoto that contains 9 images, and iTunes shows me that count, but when I (directly through USB cable) hook up the iPhone and sync, only one of them appears in the corresponding album on the iPhone. I think I understand the procedure, and I've pulled the images out of the Photostream to build the album, but can anyone think of why on some albums but not all, not all images in the iPhoto version of the album get transferred?

I do know there are different types of jpegs, exactly how or if that affects whether you can use them with a mobile I'm not sure. Use iPhoto to see if you can see some obvious differences between the photos.
All the photos are selected for sharing from the advanced menu I presume.

Windows10 tech preview build 10041 doesn't get updated for some reason

At least, we have preview build 10049 now, if you want to experience it, then you can change the install speed to "fast" in Settings\Update&Recovery\Windows Update\Advanced Options. If you don't want to experience it, then leave the setting
in "Slow". If you've already set to fast and didn't get any updates, then pleaes check the following registry:
Open regedit.exe
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability
Ensure the following values exist:
{value name}, {value type}, {value data}
BranchName, REG_SZ, fbl_impressive
ThresholdOptedin, REG_DWORD, 1
ThresholdRiskLevel, REG_SZ, low
Delete all other values
Open Settings
> Update & recovery > Windows Update
Tap or click Check
for updates
System also has a built-in troubleshooter, launch control panel\All control panel items\Troubleshooting\System and Security\Windows Update, run this troubleshooter.

Your phone should not get hot. Bring it in to Apple for evaluation. You may have a defective battery.

Just updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 7.1.2, and my phone won't get service

So I just went through the new software update, and since my phone has restarted it won't get service. A "Waiting for activation - this may take some time" message popped up after the reset, but nothing else. All I see is "Searching...".
I've never had this issue after an update, and I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue. Usually an activation would happen instantly, so I'm not sure what the issue is or how long I have to wait. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried removing and replacing the SIM? If that doesn't work, try a new SIM from Verizon, they will usually swap them out for you for free. If those don't work, you might need to get the phone checked out, it may have a bad SIM port.

you can change the accounts of different apps in the phone's settings menu.
