TS4006 Stolen iPhone disappeared from my iCloud Account a day later.

My iPhone5 was stolen, it displayed as "offline" in Find My iPhone and I activated lost mode and selected a message to display. The next day when I checked it did not display in the device list at all - only my macbook air displays. How did my iPhone5 get completely removed from my iCloud account?

Activation Lock will prevent the phone from being re-activated or Find My Phone from being turned off without knowing your Apple ID/Password. If the phone is locked with a passcode, unless the thief can guess your passcode, your data is safe. The phone is effectively useless to whoever has it.
I'd suggest changing your Apple ID password.

  • Stolen iPad SMS'd me then disappeared from my iCloud account, why?

Why has my stolen iPad been removed from my iCloud list of hardware AFTER I received an SMS from apple saying it had been located?

Exactly, apple should suggest I change my password when I reported it being stolen.
Apple has a security hole in its system, no one should have been able to remove my device from my account without two factor authentication.
    This is disappointing #applehasweaksecurity !!

  • TS2634 Can I remotely wipe my stolen iphone 4 without an iCloud account?

Hi, my iPhone 4 was stolen yesterday on the last day of my Holiday in Ibiza.
It was on the O2 network in the UK, had a 4-digit screen lock on it, but I don't think the wipe after 10 failed password attempts setting was on.
I think iCloud was installed on the phone as I'm sure I saw it listed in the settings on the phone but I haven't got an iCloud account.
Almost certain the Operating System was iOS 5.0.1.
I contacted my network yesterday & had my SIM card blocked & IMEI blocked, so from this I'm quite sure the phone is now unusable, unless they are able to run through as many pass code attempts as they want. (??)
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a way of setting up an iCloud account now & using it to remotely wipe the phone & send messages to it saying that it is stolen, or is this now not a possibility?
Also if it is possible to use a new iCloud account to retrieve my holiday photos/videos (I am assuming this is a long shot)?
I have all my other data in an iTunes back-up to restore to a new iphone when I can eventually afford to buy a new one.
I still have another years monthly payments to pay on my contract, thank you theif.
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks Lee.

No. iCloud and Find my iPhone need to be on prior to loss.

  • How do I remove my iPhone 4S from my iCloud account?

I upgraded to an iPhone 6. I successfully registered it. I successfully erased all contents from my 4S. But my 4S still shows on my profile at iCloud.com. I went to my provider and my local Apple store but neither one could figure out how to remove it. There is no trace of it in my profile on my provider account. Seems like I should just be able to go to my iCloud account and delete it?

If you didn't sign out before erasing it, it still shows on iCloud.com.  (I know, erasing it should have removed it but many people have found that it didn't.)  If you still have the old phone, you can set it up again (just set it up as a new device), sign back into your account, then sign out and it should be removed.  If you don't have it, all you can do is call Apple support and see if they can remove it for you.

  • Removing a device from my iCloud account

How do I remove my iPhone 4S from my iCloud account. I now have an iPhone 6+ and it lists both phones. Managing my account doesn't allow for this action.

Remove it from where exactly ?
If its backup then you should be able to do it in a device via Settings > General > Storage > Manage Storage > 'device'
If you want to want to log it out of your iCloud account then you can do it directly on the device > Settings > iCloud > Sign Out (or Delete Account depending upon its iOS version). Or if you have Find My iPhone enabled on it then you can log into your account in http://www.icloud.com and send a remote wipe message to the phone to put remove all content from it

Some one else have singed in my iphone with his own icloud account, how can i sign out from it ?

You cannot. This is the new security feature of iOS 7, so stolen iPhones are rendered useless. Go to Apple Store or contact Apple Support for help.

  • I dragged my notes from one iCloud account to another iCloud account and they disappeared.  How do I find them?

I dragged my notes from one iCloud account to another iCloud account and they disappeared.  How do I find them?

    Hello reallilybart,
Thank you for the question. You can export the calendar events from your previous iCloud account and then import them into your new iCloud account.
First, use these steps to export your events from your original account and make note of where you save the file to:
    Export a calendar’s events
In Calendar, click the calendar’s name.If you don’t see your calendars, click Calendars.
Choose File > Export > Export.
Choose a location for the file, and then click Export. The events are exported in an iCalendar (.ics) file.
Next, quit the Calendar application, and log out of your original iCloud account in System Preferences > iCloud.  Then log in with your new iCloud account and open Calendar.  The final step is to import the file into the calendar for your new iCloud account
Use these steps to import the calendar events:
    Import events into a calendar
If you want, create a new calendar for the events.Add or delete a calendar
Choose File > Import > Import.
Locate and select the calendar file that contains the events, and then click Import.
Choose the calendar you created or another calendar to add the events to.
You can also drag a .ics file to Calendar. The events in the file are added to the calendar that’s highlighted in the Calendar list.

  • Hi! I've just purchased a new iPhone 5s but whenever I text people with iPhones it's always sent from my iCloud account. This means that my email show instead of my name/number which is really frustrating! Does anyone know how to stop this?

Hi! I've just purchased an iPhone 5S but whenever I text people with iPhones it sends from my iCloud account. This means that my email comes up for other people not my name/number which is really frustrating! Does anyone know how to stop this?

Go into Settings>Messages>Send and Receive> Is your phone number checked there? If you do not want your email used, then tap on them and remove the checkmark. If there is no checkmark by your phone number, then turn iMessage off, perform a reset on the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. Turn iMessage on. When it activates, check your settings again under Send and Receive and make sure the number is checked and the emails are not.
