TS4009 A message "iCloud backup" popped up on the screen, and the iPad freeze, how to trouble shoot.
A message "iCloud backup" appeared on the screen, and I could not run applications anymore on my iPad. Please help.
Just sorted this problem - hold down Sleep and Home buttons until apple sign appears - after about 15 secs. Thereafter use a normal and iPad unfreezes. I backed up on iCloud afrer "recovery". Good luck.

iPhone 6. While talking on the phone, email interferes w/audio for other party. Email message pops-up on the screen and the other party cannot hear me until I click "close" & remove the message. Ideas??
Alex, thanks for the reply but it did not answer my question. I only want to turn off notifications & interruptions while I am on the phone. For this desired result, the only way the Do Not Disturb feature would help is if I manually turned it on before each phone conversation. Since my phone rings at random times, this is not possible. Basically, I just want to "opt out" of call-waiting. When I had a landline I never had call waiting. I don't want to be interrupted. But beyond that, even if I am being interrupted why are these notifications preventing the other party from hearing my voice?

"i cloud backup" is popped up on my screen and wont go away, how do i make it go away?
Hi there,
It sounds like you may have an Accessibility feature called VoiceOver. Take a look at the article below for more information about this feature as well as how to disable it.

I'm getting error messages when I download updates for lightroom and flash for the mac. can't figure out how to trouble shoot.
It sounds as if your browser and some of your apps are not color-managed. This is pretty typical. Even IE9 is only partially color-managed.
You can expect color-managed and non-color-managed applications to show you different things with the same images. How different will depend upon how different your monitor color profile is from the image's color profile.
For web publication and most general use, experts usually advise saving images with the sRGB profile. If such images, saved through the Save for Web & Devices function, look different to you than you expect, it may be that your input images have previously been saved in another color space.
You should really try to get your head around color-management by reading more on it. It can seem baffling and it's difficult to understand without some background. A quick web search turns up many overviews. Beware, though, even people writing articles sometimes don't fully understand it.

Been using an Avastor HDX-800 for storage and backup, also a SUPERDISK for smaller stuff; recently the SUPERDISK does not appear on the screen, and the light blinks while you hear it spin, also the Avastor has started to have the same problem, both USB conncected, both worked well before, but both now spinning, blinking, and not showing up on the screen as before,
Interestingly they both appear in the System Profiler, but just not working the same as before
I have tried other USB ports, but the same responce, yes I did reset the PRAM, but no benefit, still the same problem
my usb devices are: keyboard, mouse, printer, SD-USB-M3, and LaCie d2 DVDRW:
the mouse and printed are plugged into the keyboard: i have tried to move, these around, and have even tried just the mouse, printer and SD-USB-M3, but still the same problem
here is a cut and paste of the current "System Profiler>Hardware>USB" (usb device tree)

My iPad is not responding. It does not unlock. I have a message: iCloud Backup, "This iPad hasn't been backed up in 5 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi". My Question: plugged in to WHAT? locked, HOW? and how to connect to Wi-Fi when my iPad does not respond to anything I do with it? PLEASE HELP.

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until your device restarts, so you will be able to use the iPad again.
The iPad makes a backup into iCloud automatically when it's connected to the network and it is been charged -
My Ipad has locked itself up and is posting the followning message: iCloud Backup This iPad has not been backed up for 2 weeks.... I've plugged it in, it should be connected to rgour home wi-fi, but I cant get the message to go away when I push OK. I cant get it to do anything. When I turn on my iPad I get this message: "iCloud Backup - This iPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi." It has rendered my iPad useless as I cannot even unlock it, and it shuts down within a few seconds of turning it on. Is there any way to clear this?
Try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
My iPad is locked up, the message "iCloud backup hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks, needs to be plugged in, locked and connected to WiFi." It is unresponsive to the "ok" command to move forward with the backup. It is stuck.
Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.

Can't get it to unlock, it has an icloud backup message on the screen and won't let me cancel the message and log on? Tried to shut the machine off and it won't turn off with the button either. locked???

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until the device restarts, so you will be able to use the iPad again.
It will try to make a backup every time your iPad is plugged to the charger and connected to a network. To prevent that this message appears soon, open Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and choose Backup Now -
I am unable to turn off/on - Message "iCloud Backup unable to access account" unable to access settings. Totally locked up. Please help
Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
