TS4036 Issues retrieving purchased albums in full from icloud

I have recently bought new PC so am in process of importing all my music off harddrive, plus downloading all purchased items from my iCloud into new iTunes
I have issue where purhcased albums in my library are showing as only part-downloaded. For e.g. i have the full Lana del Rey album, originally purchased from iTunes 2 , but my library only shows i have tracks, 1,3,5 and 7 and 8 (there are 12 tracks)
I also cannot seem to upload the album in full either from my external harddrive, even though the tracks are all there and in correct format, bought from same location?
Any ideas please?

Let me get this straight.....You lost your phone. You never backed it up, either to your computer or to a cloud service.

Hi you can take to Apple Store they may Replace with a Refurbished, one but you will need to pay part of cost. Make an Appointment, if you do get Another iphone when you set it up Just use the same Apple, id & password then you will get all your Apps & Data back. Cheers Brian

if your back up to icloud was done before you deleted those you can get it back by restore from icloud back up using step by step in that article.

A response I put together from another post. Also going into iTunes and choosing to sync phone to iCloud then back "this computer" sometimes works.
First thing.. Stop where you are. Don't try to sync, update, hard reset, iCloud... Just stop.
Check on your phone under 'SETTINGS' 'GENERAL' USAGE'. It should show some value for PHOTOSTREAM. Also, connect to iTunes and you will notice at the bottom of your phones summary page that there is a large amount of 'OTHER' data.
I used third party software called iExplorer (formerly iPhone explorer). In this program you select 'MEDIA FOLDER', then 'DCIM'. In the various apple folders (IE: 101APPLE) you should be able to preview your photos and copy them to your desktop.
From there sync them back to your device through iTunes or whatever method you use.
There is a simpler solution I'm sure, which may involve using iExplorer to delete some .plist files then restart the phone and let it rebuild. I'm going to try it myself AFTER I've finished copying all the photos to my MAC

i just purchased an album on itunes but one of the songs will only play the first minute and then it goes to the next song. not sure what is going on but itunes refuses to play the entire song. does anyone know how to fix the issue?

Liz, if you buy a brand new product and find that it is defective, do not attempt to "fix" it. Rather, contact the retailer for a refund or replacement.
In your case the retailer was quite a reputable one, and I am sure they will make good. You can contact them at iTunes Customer Service, with an explanation of the problem.

If you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from (as you are advised to do) then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. Apple provides functionality in the backup done via iTunes to backup the device and text messages. There is no functionality to view the text messages on the computer.
About iOS backups
Other programs are available which can extract text messages from the device or the iTunes created backup and then be viewed on the computer. To my knowledge, no program exists which can force backed up text messages into the device once they've been removed.
Google is your friend when looking for 3rd party software related to text messages.

Firstly, I assume you are referring to Photostream.
My webpage here might help you understand the various ways photos can be saved on your device and some of the advantages and disadvantages associated with each method.
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there (subject to a 1,000 photo limit) until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.

See which Apple ID you used to download an item.
See if the content is available for redownload. Previously purchased items might not be available if they're no longer on the iTunes Store.

Apple states that it keeps up to your most recent 3 backups (space permitting in your account). If you're backing up daily, this would only go back a couple of days. You won't know if an earlier backup is available until you attempt to back up to iCloud. When you do, you are shown a list of available backups to restore from. If you have older backups, you access those by tapping "Show older backups..." (see image below). If you don't see this, you don't have any older backups available.
