Thank you deggie to answer me . You know, I don't know much of computers and of technology but when I bought that ipod back when they came out 2005 I was able to download music from my CDs and from Youtube to itunes then transfer to my ipod and back and forth to itunes . Then if I had changed of computer I was able to transfer to that new computer.Why I'm not able to do it ? There is a program(Sharepod) that allow to do that but it cost $35.00 but I thought that was free or it is because that now I have to buy from itunes only?

I just want to copy my itunes music library to Ipod

I have many albuns in my PC and want to copy them to may IPOD.
Previous attempt just cleaned the Ipod Content.

I am looking into getting the new iPod (I currently have a 3rd generation 40GB iPod with half of the storage used)... I want to know if the storage for music is limited? From the specs.. it sounds like it is.. but what if I don't want to watch videos.. I just want to listen to music? Can I use all 30GB for music or is it limited?

I guess what I mean.. if I drop a 800 x 800 (pixel) image into iTunes for the artwork:
a) does iTunes automatically reduce the image dimensions and size?
and
b) when the image is transfered to my iPod will the dimension and size also be reduced?
or is the original image dimension and size kept throughout the process?

Do you mean to say you already have a wireless network setup and thought by buying the Airport Express you just could use it for wireless music alone?
The Airport Express is chiefly a wireless router first, with the wireless music and printing as extra's.
It can be used for streaming music alone, but I think it needs to talk to network time servers and thus it gets screwed up over time not being on the internet. Also by your using your computers wifi for music streaming, no internet with your other router.
So it's a all Airport Express or back to a stereo mini cable.

You Sync the Music you want on the Phone via iTunes on your computer.

Open itunes, connect ipod, select what you want to sync ( in the music tab) sync.

You can only sync everything with your one syncing computer/iTunes library. Yu can:

How do I listen to my music at work? I have installed itunes to my work computer, I plug in my ipod, itunes shows my playlist. however, it wont let me play. I am busier than poop at work so i don't have any time to fool around with itunes. Can you tell me what im doing wrong? Also, what is the easiest way to listen to my music at work?

Have you got your iPod set to manual update? If you want to access your iPod directly, play it through your iTunes, connect it to a second computer etc. you just need to change the update method to "Manually manage songs and Playlists" in the iPod preferences. For more detail see this articles:

Why does iTunes keep asking for my password when I want to listen to my music on my iPhone?

When I want to listen to music on my iPhone, iTunes keeps asking for my password. I am not purchasing anything. It started today. Why is that?

I've been having the same problem on my iPad and iPhone. I talked to Apple customer service this morning. They had me do the following on both devices in the Settings:
* Sign out of iTunes & App Store
* Sign out of FaceTime
* Sign out of Game Center
* Delete iCloud account
They also had me restore my iPad due to some glitchy behavior in the Music app.
Things seemed to me fixed for a few hours until I went into the iTunes Store app on my iPad and added a movie to my Wish List. When I went back to the Music app, the dreaded "Sign In to iTunes Store" popup started showing up again on both devices. Suspicious!
So, I cleared out my Wish List in both the iTunes Store and App Store. I've been poking at the Music app on both my iPhone and iPad since then I haven't seen that popup once since then. I'm not going to declare victory yet since it's only been an hour or two, but I thought that this was worth mentioning.

Help, i dont want to loose all my music on my ipod

heres what happend. i was reinstalling windows and i put all my (12gb) worth of music on my ipod.. i just copy and pasted it onto the ipod. i basically deleted everything off of it and used it as a external hard drive... i then went ahead and reinstalled windows.. now when i connect it to my pc, i go to my computer and the ipod comes up as "Removable Disk (E:)" and when i double click on it it says "The disk in drive (E:) is not formatted, do you want to format it now"... i cant even access the inside and copy paste all my music back onto my pc. i installed itunes and when i connect the ipod this pops up "ipod seems to be corrupt, it needs to be reset to factory settings before use" (something to that effect).. it just lists Name: IPod, Capacity: n/a, Software version... and when i click "restore" it says everything will be wiped off the ipod (all my 12gb of music)... can someone help me get the files off the ipod...

I don't remember if Restore deletes the files stored directly on the iPod's drive (not part of the hidden iTunes directories). However, if you are already at the "connect to power adapter" step, Restore has already done most of its work. The last step just re-initializes the iPod's internal software. So you should just complete the Restore and see if those files are still there.

Symantec/activex/itunes 7/dude...i just want to listen to music

my itunes wont launch. ive scrolled through alot but nothing has helped. when i try to launch an hourglass shows up then disappears.i tunes does not activate. ive removed and installed and nothing. it does say that the publisher is not verified. also i uninstalled norton yesterday. and i was having alot of symantec popups too(over 100). im sure i dont have norton anymroe but could it have killed my itunes? any help would be nice...i am no good with computers
