TS4062 iMac to Ipad syncing

Since recent iTunes update my iMac no longer syncs with my iPad. I have tried Bluetooth and cable connection between iMac and iPad but the iPad symbol no longer appears in iTunes so am not able to apply the sync. It is very frustrating as the calendars sync automatically between the two units. I want to add photos from iPhoto on Imac to iPad. Previously this has easily happened but now without the iPad symbol appearing in iTunes, I cannot do any transferes. Anybody with ideas please

Syncing of data such as Photo Stream, Calendars and Contacts (as opposed to music) using iTunes has been removed in Mavericks (the framework, SyncServices, which enables this has been removed). You are expected to sync your data using iCloud.

I am not a happy mac user at the moment. I have a new ipad OSi 5.0 works fine with my two Lion systems. I have an iPod touch with OSi 4.2.1 I was trying to sync my calender, mail and contacts. It did the mail and calender but it wiped out my contacts. I not only want them back, I want them synced with the other systems. I should not have to buy a new touch to get this to work!
I would be happy to upgrade the OSi if it was an option!

You can't actually delete an iCloud account but you can remove it by signing out at System Preferences>iCloud if it is the promary account, or in Mail, Contacts & Calendars if the secondary, and then juste ignore it.
The Blackeberry can only sync with data held under 'On My Mac'. iCloud can only sync with data under 'iCloud'.
When you set up iCloud your calendars and contacts were moved to the iCloud server. If you want to use Blackberry you will have to move them back to 'On My Mac' and not sync with iCloud: it's one or the other.

To move contacts, File>Export as vCard when you have selected all your contacts, then delete the contacts under iCloud, make 'On My Mac' the default and reimport the vCard.

How do i sync pages from iMac to iPad. I am new to mac and this is confusing

how do I sync between IMAC and IPAD. I just downloaded pages into my IMAC and I can not figure out how to download it onto my ipad2. I do not want to download the product again for $10. i was told that this is handled in itunes but i can not figure it out

You got some bad information if you think that you do not have to buy Pages for the iPad and you think that it will work without it.
You have to purchase Pages for the iPad as well as for the Mac. You cannot install any computer program on an iPad - Mac or Windows applications will not work on the iPad. You will have to download and install the iPad Pages app or you cant sync files from the Mac to the iPad and the other way around.

I am a newbie...and I think I did a big no-no as my Ipad isn't working. I synced it to a second computer at work which is a new Imac after already syncing to my pc at home with Itunes. Now it says it can't restore and can't get it to open. HELP!

iPad can connect only in one iTunes Library. If you want to connect it to a iTunes Library then you have to erase it. You can erase it from iTunes. Make sure you iPad doesn't have a password, or if it has a password make sure that you connect to the computer and enter the password of your iPad

Why won't the folders in Mail sync consistently across my iMac, MacBook, iPad and iPhone?

Ok, this one is complex; here's the deal.....
I'm using a single Gmail account with Mail on an iMac, MacBook, iPad and iPhone, using Lion and iOS 5. The 4 respective 'Mails' are not synchronising consistently between each other. Here's what's going on:
Received messages are appearing in all 4 Inboxes.
If a message is deleted from any of the 4 Inboxes, it is deleted from all other Inboxes.
So far so good. But:
When I create a draft message, or delete a message from the Sent folder - iMac and Macbook sync with each other, and iPad and iPhone sync with each other, but each 'pair' won't sync with the other 'pair'.
But to complicate things further (and this is the one which is driving me up the wall), let's look at the Sent folder:
If I send a message from the iMac or Macbook, the message appears in all 4 Sent folders.
But if I send a message from the iPad or iPhone, those 2 devices will sync their Sent folders, but the message will NOT appear in the Sent folders of the iMAc or MacBook.
So what is going on there? I've spoken to numerous One-to-One staff and Apple technicians on the phone over the last 12 months, we've checked settings, I've deleted and then reinstalled the Gmail account on Mail - but no success. Please solve this for me!!

The reason I asked is because keying all devices synced is exactly what it is all about.
FYI, You need to use the Mail application, but you do NOT need to use an @me.com account. It support Gmail and other mail servers.

No. You cannot link your contacts to hers. However, you can use Home Sharing to share the information:

With the exception of photo stream, iCloud doesn't sync your apps or photos between devices. You will continue to sync this content via iTunes in the same way as you do now.
Photo stream allows you to sync your most recent photos between all devices, you have the option to use photostream or not.

E-mail (Outlook) syncs to iMac and iPad, but not to iPhone. How can I get it to sync to all three devices?

My e-mail (Outlook) syncs to my iMac and my iPad. However, I can read e-mails on my new iPhone, respond to them, and even erase them, but when I go to my computer or iPad afterwards, they still appear unopened and I have to open each one and close it again so it doesn't show up as an unread e-mail. Reading list sync between iMac and iPad for offline reading

If I add to reading list on my iMac, and then go to the reading list on the iPad, all is OK. I can read the items, but only if I am connected to the internet. Is it possible to set up reading list that means the content of the page is also somehow cached to the ipad? for reading off line... Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Contacts sync iMac with iPad

I am trying to sync the contacts of my iMac with the iPad (also with the iPod). It works, but is not sending all the information, for example, if I have some e-mail address in the iMac, I cannot see that in the iPad.
I am looking for the right place to configure it, but I cannot find it.
I have try the sync through iTunes and also MobileMe, but without success.
Any hint?

Thank you! Yes, in the iMac for example when the mail is "other" in most of the cases doesn't show in the iPad, but no always. I have a case with two "other" email and both show in both iMac and iPad.
What I cannot understand is that both are the same application, and both running in Apple devices. Why are not syncronizing properly? Doesn't make sense for me.
Most common case is: the contact is syncronized, with the Name, title, company, all the numbers and address, but the emails!
It doesn't affect to anything but the emails. When there are single or doble addresses it works perfeclty well for everything but the email.

I'm in password ****!!!! My memory is not what I once was and managing passwords on my iMac and iPad is making me crazy. The iMac is the home planet at work for the iPad and it use it all day... the iPad is my device of choice when at home.
The value of a strong password cannot be understated in these times!!!!
Is there an easy way to sync passwords between the two. I find I spend way to much time resetting passwords because I simply cannot remember them.
Again... and again... and again... is the story of my life.
