TS4062 ipod calendar does not link to macbook

I believe I have tried all of the suggested remedies to allow calendar entries on the ipod to transfer to the macbook, via usb cable,  the last time this happened I found a fix but have not been able to locate it this time.

Okay, do you use iCloud or just local calendar?
If you do use iCloud, then open Calendar and go to Calendar>Preferences...>Accounts and log in to the same iCloud account as you use on your iPod. Everything will come back.
If you use local calendar, then I'm afraid I won't be able to help you. There may or may not be a way to transfer a local calendar from your iPod to your Mac. If there is, I don't know how; I'll have to leave that to someone else.

  • IPOD Shuffle does not sync on MacBook

    Hello,
I have a very strange problem with my girlfriends iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen.: When I plug it into the MacBook, it takes very long to be reckognized in iTunes. When I try to copy music on it, it also takes long and does not succeed.
I tried all suggestions from the apple support site. I also installed the MacBook completelly new and also created a new Mediathek with only one Music CD in it, just to be sure not to have any old configuration on the MacBook. This did not resolve anything.
I used my own MacBookPro and the iPod is fully functional. Even worse, when I plug my own Shuffle 3rd Gen into my girlfriends MacBook it also does work.
Is there anything else I could try? I was already thinking of installing the Macbook again without applying Patches or something, but where can i get an old version of iTunes.
Any suggestions what else I could try? Where can I find more details on what goes wrong exactly?
    Thanks for any hints!
    Rene

No one any ideas? What about an apple tech? Can apple give me a hint on this topic?

  • IPhone 5S 8.1.2 calendar does not sync with macbook pro yosemite

Today i added iCloud account on phone and lost almost all calendar events on phone.

    Hello petiar,
Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities.
You can use the following article to troubleshoot your sync/charging connection for your iPhone:
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
Of particular interest to you would be the "Battery or charging issues" under "Power/Battery" and "Not seen in iTunes / USB connection issues" under "General phone and connectivity issues".
    Regards,
    Jeff D.

  • Ipod touch does not synch calendar or notes with my Windows Vista  PC

Ipod touch does not synch calendar or notes with my Windows Vista PC. I have calendar and notes entries in my Outlook calendar, but they do not synch with my Ipod touch. They used to work fine, but stopped around 2 weeks ago. I connect my ipod to i tunes, but the "info" area of itunes is not allowing me to tick the boxes to synch calendar, outlook, or notes.

    Hello Welcome To Apple Discussions
plug in your ipod and select the info tab and look for calender sync (something similar to that) and click the program your using for your calender.
    try that
    Thank You

  • TS3999 I have a macbook Pro which had Mobileme. I have joined ICloud, but my Calendar does not sync. How do I fix this? I do not see an ICloud Icon on my laptop and the software is updated.

This is the situation with Snow Leopard and existing iCloud accounts:
You will be able to access email and calendars on the iCloud website at http://icloud.com provided your browser is reasonably up-to-date.
You will not be able to sync contacts or bookmarks from a pre-Lion Mac.
You will be able to enter the server settings for email manually in the Mail application and access your email.
You will not be able to sync your calendars directly.
Some people have been able to set up calendar syncing by using the method detailed here - this is an unsupported hack and may not be reliable, and may stop working at some future point.
Address Book won't sync: this page has a convoluted hack to make it sync which has been reported as working (and as not working by others). I've not tried it.
There are a couple of alternative syncing services you might like to consider, though they're not particularly cheap:
Soho Organizer can sync Calendars and Contacts with iCloud on Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion. A single user licence (multiple machines allowed) is $99.99.
Fruux syncs Calendars, Tasks and Contacts beetween a wide variety of devices (not using the iCloud server) including Snow Leopard and above, Windows Outlook and Thunderbird, Linux Thunderbird, and iOS and Android devices - see their compatibility chart (click the blue 'i' for a caveat about Snow Leopard). It's free for one user, two shares, two devices; above that pricing starts at €4 per month.
(I have no connection with these firms and have not tried Soho Organizer, though both have had good reports and I've found Fruux to work well.)

  • IPod Touch does not sync any info

hey there, my problem is that my iPod Touch does not sync anything from the "info"-section shown in iTunes, neither Contacts nor Calendar nor Mail Accounts...
In contrast it's no problem with my iPod nano (1. gen).
i hope that someone can help me. thank you and excuse my shabby English. _
everytime i try to sync Contacts and so on, i get a message saying "iTunes cannot sync 'Contacts' to the iPod, because the Sync-Server can't sync the iPod" (i tried to translate the originally German message...)

Im having this problem as well and it really defeats the purpose of having a calendar on here if it won't work. Mine seems to only want to try to sync one of my 6 calendars I want to carry with me, but even then that one calendar doesn't update all events. It's very selective/random.
I also find that the odd photo album is randomly ignored. But the iCal sync is important for me. Why Apple just doesn't allow a direct link from iCal allowing multiple calendars is beyond me. If the iPod Touch is running a copy of OS X anyway, why not just make the Calendar app basically identical to iCal? And make it work!

  • Holidays calendar does not cone on

My holidays calendar does not show when it is checked. Birthdays works as does alternative.

I finally solved the problem after going through the apple support site. My itune option to synch calendar had been turned off, probably as I uptdated to Itune 9 or ipod 4.0. It is in the info part of the settings of the ipod when it is connected to the computer.
    Anyhow, all is well now

  • ICal availability panel message "This Calendar does not support availability". Synch is OK with CalDAV. Don't know why - only since installing Yosemite

My iCal is synching OK withe the CalDAV calendar it is linked to, but when I try and check availability of others to schedule an appointment, it says "This Calendar does not support availability" I've only started getting this since upgrading to Yosemite

I have the exact same issue, I am working with apple support now, and they had me reinstall OS from recovery.  Still no success...

  • HT5925 My Ipod Touch does not sync with my Windows 8.1 Icloud calender.

My Ipod touch does not sync with my Windows 8.1 I cloud calendar?  it syncs from windows computer to itouch but not vice versa

Make sure you are entering the events on your iPod in the iCloud calendar and not something else such as On My iPod.  Check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the Calendars section) to be sure you have selected an iCloud calendar as your default.

  • Calendar does not sync with BB curve 8520

I have a BB Curve 8520 and every time I sync my device with my laptop, while my address book does get synced with Outlook, my calendar does not get updated. The desktop software shows Calendar (not installed).
I have un-installed and reinstalled my desktop software but this issue continues.
    Any suggestions or advice please?
    Thanks in advance...

  • After upgrading to mountain lion my calendar does not print in weekly mode anymore

after upgrading to mountain lion my calendar does not print in weekly mode anymore

I'm having the same problem with both my Vivotek wired network camera and Panasonic wireless network cameras. At first I thought this was an issue with the video framework in Mountain Lion, but if Firefox is working (I haven't tried it yet), it sounds like it may be an objective-c video library that has been changed. It's possible Firefox is using an objective-c interface that calls an objective-c function that isn't called by Safari or IP Camera Viewer, etc., (possibly a function that is on its way to be deprecated) or Firefox could use it's own library that directly calls the video framework.
Could be the Mountain Lion objective-c framework has a buffering issue.
Since this is occuring in both 3rd party software and Apple software, it sounds like it's an Apple issue. 3rd party applications typically utilize the Apple Developer objective-c frameworks to access video frameworks/libraries (for example, MJPEG). Thus, contacting 3rd party developers may not solve the situation (unless they can figure out a temporary bandaid--possibly figuring out the video framework call that Firefox uses and patching their software to do the same (not a simple task), but could still provide more feedback to Apple via their developer status.
Has anyone attempted to record from their cameras via iMovie or Final Cut Pro X HD? I will try mine later tonight to see if it records the hanging. If it does, then it's looking more and more like Apple's the culprit.
My suggestion is for everyone to file a bug report via http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html

  • Ios 7 calendar does not show events 2 years in the future

Why does ios 7 calendar does not show events 2 years in the future?
I've entered the events more than twice and it all shows up in the OSX calendar but not on my iphone.

Just tested it works even 3 years ahead.
Tap Calendars (bottom, middle) is All iCloud selected (tick mark)?
