TS4062 my iphone wont work i can get it to show connecting to itunes but no farther
i purchased this phone off ebay and when i tried to turn it on it showed a apple for a few seconds and then blank screen i was told to try going to i tunes hold the home button and then connect to the computer i did that then it shows conecting to itunes but it never does and itune doesnt see it in devices i dont know a thing about these phones but i am starting to think im screwed and should never have bought it any sugestions? the person i got it from is no longer on ebay .....go figure
Sounds like a damaged device.
Report it to ebay as a fraudulent transaction, UNLESS they clearly stated in the auction that it was a damaged device.

The apple logo appears for 5 seconds then disappears for 10 then appears for five and so on. I can get it to the connect to iTunes screen but as soon as I unplug it from the wall it shuts off completely. A laptop with iTunes isn't enough to power it up. Can anyone help me fix this?

my phone is in recovery mode before its was off and however ifs get on showing connect to itunes but now in recovery mode its showing itunes is restoring software on phone and and above its showing waiting for phone but not moving further what shold i do

Do you have a SIM in the phone?
A SIM is required to activate it.
If you DO have a SIM in it, the most common cause of this problem is a phone that was hacked to illegally unlock it and has been updated or restored. -

Since the last iphone software upgrade, every time i try to download an application i keep getting the message "cannot connect ot itunes store". How can i resolve this? I have tried rebooting but that didnt work.
Try logging out of your account on the iPhone by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
If that doesn't solve it then what has worked for some people is going into Settings > General > Date & Time and change the date to a few months (or maybe a year or two) in the future and then re-trying -
I upgraded my Iphone 4 to iOS6 yesterday. After upgrading I get the message "Cannot connect to ITunes store" when trying to access ther App store. Tried everything I can think of but still get same message. Help!!

Iphone wont work at all since upgrading to new version of itunes (10.2.1)
Ever since upgrading to the new version of itunes 10.2.1 my iphone will not work at all, it will not switch off and will not restore which itunes tells me is needed, cannot use phone at all, need help please.
I only have songs no other media. The specs for my Ipod say it should hold 7500 songs. This problem only started after upgrading to the newest version of iTunes 10.2.1.1

You must have the credentials that were used to turn on Find my iPhone on the device. Without them, you can not get past the activation lock.

please help I have re installed itunes and still it takes half an hour to extract data then tells me the iPhone 'iPhone' could not be restored. The device cannot be found
That screen is saying it has gone into recovery mode and you need to use the instructions for attaching by recovery mode given in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

my iphone has been lost in my house and i need to find a way to track it and its offline. it wont connect to the internet so there isnt a way to use find my iphone. i just want to play a sound on it. is there any way i can get a app that connects my ipod from a laptop or a different way to find it.
If your phone is offline, the ONLY way to find it is to look for it the old fashioned way. Your phone CANNOT be located electronically if it's offline.

Upgraded my phone to iphone 6 from iphone 4. My iTunes with all my music is on a computer that no longer works and can't access the music. Will iTunes Match allow me to get my music off of my iphone 4 and put it on my iphone 6? Sorry about copying twice, new to this.
Do you have iTunes match? You need a computer to manage an iTunes match library.

Someone gave me a airport express router. it works great with my macbook but when i try to connect via wifi to my iphone it says it can't be set up by "this software". Where can I download whatever software my iphone needs so I can get wifi?
Per chance is your AirPort Express Base Station (AX) an 802.11g model? If so, that is why you are getting this error message from the AirPort Utility running on the iPad. You would need to use either version 5.6 or 5.6.1 running on a Mac or a PC to administer this base station.
