TS4062 unable to sync music to ipad

after doing a back up & restore due to sound problems on ipad sound has returned but i cannot restore my music! when trying to sync from itunes library tracks appear in a greyed out form but will not sync. strangely despite the restore checked tracks only being selected the UNchecked tracks have restored!

WiFi sync requires that the computer and iOS device be on the same wireless network. Your computer can't be connected to ethernet with WiFi turned off and have your iOS device sync with it over WiFi.

Okay, you are using Windows 7. What version of iTunes do you have. Please don't tell me the most current one, go into Help then About iTunes and read what it says.

Obviously, syncing an iOS device with iTunes over USB is still supported in Mavericks. Calendar and contact syncing with iTunes is no longer supported. That has nothing to do with your problem.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

I read your entire message, and my mom's iPhone 5 does this exact same thing. When the idiot at the AT&T store transferred her data (well, most of it) to her new phone, he DID NOT use her latest iCloud backup like he should have, but used some features in "Bump" to move things across. So, in my opinion, it's not worth the hassle of restoring it as a new device as Tim suggests. That's just the easy answer. Here's something odd about hers. It seems to do this, when she's using her bluetooth earpiece (a Jawbone Icon), but not when she's got bluetooth disabled on the iPhone 5 and holding down the "Home" button to activate Siri. If she uses her Jawbone bluetooth earpiece to activate Siri, the answer that Siri presents on the phone's screen will only stay on for about five seconds, then dim, then go blank -- and she has to "swipe to unlock" and, of course, the Siri information is gone. Not so if she uses the Home key to activate Siri.

  • Unable to sync photos to iPad

Unable to sync photos to iPad since installing iOS 5

Thanks Leonie. I removed the iPod Photo Cache and tried again, but still no luck
Is enough space on your device for all photos?
Where is your iPhoto Library stored? In your Pictures folder or on an external drive?
Are the recent photos o.k.? Do they show, when you enlarge them? Can you edit them?
Have you repaired the permissions in your iPhoto Library or repaired the library?  You can repair the iPhoto Library using the First Aid Tools:
Try to launch into the First Aid Tools  by holding down the key combination option-command ⌥⌘ and clicking the iPhoto icon to launch iPhoto.
Keep the two buttons firmly held down, until you are seeing the First Aid panel.
    Then select "Repair permissions".
Repeat with "Repair database", if the first repair did not help.

  • Unable to sync music and video on ipad 4 but able to sync on iphone

used handbrake to convert video, used itune to convert personnel video made with iphone
    mp3 music unable to sync
all other(book, contact , app) are syncable

iTunes can help you convert video.
let's clear your question: you have some personal video files that made with iPhone, and then used handbrake to convert the videos.  The video and Mp3 files can't sync to iPad 4, right?
Well, while you convert the videos with handbrake, what output settings you choose? iPad or Apple TV is ok.
Or else you maybe need another video converter.

If you  have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
Then make sure that you have the right boxes chacked to sync. See:

Have you successfuly synced from that iTunes library before?

  • I updated to ios7 but now I am unable to sync music to my ipad2

I updated my ipad2 to ios7 without difficulty. All apps, contacts, etc are fine. But, now when I plug in and attempt to sync music in itunes I am unable to. The sync button is greyed out completely. I can't put any music on my ipad except for a few songs in icloud which automatically appear. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

They posted an update before iOS 7 hit stating it was necessary to update the app before installing iOS 7.

  • HT1386 can't sync music to ipad

when syncing, the music isn't being transferred to the ipad. in the ipad, the music appears with a gray wheel, and isn't really there. i already tried restoring to factory setting, but it didn't help. i also tried manually transferring the music, but that didn't work either.

Sync music (purchased from iTune Store) to iPad. Select device on the left and Music on the top.

  • Syncing music on iPad to iPod.

Hello.  I want to sync music on my iPad to my iPod.  Can I do this?  Do I need another computer to bridge the two devices?

About the closest you can come is you can sync some material using iCloud.  For example, if botht the iPad and iPod use iCloud Mail, Contacts, Calendars, that data would sync.  Simlilarly, Photo Stream could sync.  If you subscribe to iTunes Match, you could get your music to sync also.
