TS4069 all of a sudden i can't get incoming mail. I can send just fine. I deleted my account and then reintalled it; now it only shows emails going back one month and still not receiving new ones.
I cannot receive incoming mail all of a sudden on my I-Pone 4. I deleted my comcast account and then set it up again as suggested. Now it only loaded messages beginning one month ago; and still not receiving any new. Any ideas?
There are only two things that I can suggest.
The first is to try the Mail Setup Assistant.
The other is giving Mozilla's Thunderbird a shot - setup the account and see if it will work with this free email app. I don't like Mail at all - and it gives some people fits around here (I don't know how many times people have posted about problems with outgoing servers using Mail).
Try both methods - I don't use Mail - I use MS's Outlook (and, before that, Entourage). If the Setup Assistant offers no relief, just try Thunderbird and see if it works with it.

I am facing lot of issues with my iphone 3gs.Please i request you guys dont buy any apple products here.its waste.I bought my iphone one moth back when i use GPRS(internet ) on my phone .it will shut down and gets heated.Went to imagine(Authorised apple service center)they said will replace the phone when i went to collect the phone they said it a new one when i check the connector it was having all dust in it.WHEN I ASKED THEN AGAIN THEY SAY ITS A NEW PRODUCT.HOW COME A NEW PRODUCT HAS DUST COLLECTED IN CONNECTOR DOCK.
Replace the phone with a brand new phone.There should be no way to tell. The dealer/store shouldn't know either. It should be good as new.
The warranty clearly states that it can be a refurb unit. You have no say in the matter. -
My audiobooks keep stopping at about 8mins. Only the older audiobooks in the audiobook section. Not the newer ones if played from Purchased or Recently Added sections. What can I do? Thank you.
have you ever copied those audio books in another location and played in your computer? May be the audio book file is corrupted. give it a try.

I hit the magnifier tool on my iPad and now it only shows a portion of the screen and I cannot get out of it. What do I do?
Which magnifier tool are you referring to? If you double-tap with 3 fingers it should disable zoom. Then you can go into Setttings>Accessibility>Zoom and turn it off.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Switched to Samsung GS5 2 months ago, still not receiving messages from iphone users
I switched to a non iphone over two months ago and ever since then I cannot receive messages from iphone users sending in imessage format. They have to turn imessage on and off to be able to text me. This has been extremely inconvenient since I need to receive these messages for work in addition to my personal life. I have tried multiple suggestions I've read about, still nothing works. It's like this is apple's way of keeping customers using their iphone instead of switching for fear of not receiving messages. They won't really fix it either when we all know technology is advanced enough to fix this. HELP.

I installed 4.0 on two computers and they both are unable to access the Facebook game page. I have another computer with 3.6 and don't have a problem with it. On Facebook players send request to join them on games. When I go to that game the page begins to load information and then it just disappears or goes white. I still have a Facebook menu on top of page.
Because I am having issues with Norton Security Suite with the upgrade to Firefox 4.0.1, I have been dealing with that as well, with no success to-date. However, I did notice today when I was looking in my trash, an interesting thing occurred with the upgrade that MAY have something to do with the apps. in Facebook not working correctly now with Firefox.
In my trash, there are several folders of 'Recovered Files'. Two of them are loaded with Internet Plugins for Facebook and were all dumped on May 1st, the day I upgraded to v. 4.0.1 Firefox and began having all my problems. For example, they are plugins like: plugin-cross domain.xml, plugin-gateway-1.php, plugin-102452128776.gz-72.json, just to name a few of them. Now, I am wondering if they were inadvertently removed during the upgrade process, or if they are in conflict with the new upgrade. Should I put them all back into Library -->Internet Plug-Ins to see if that resolves the problems? There are so many of them, I wish there was a way to mark them in some fashion in case I would have to remove them and not take the wrong ones out! Maybe there is a way I can color code them before I move them. I hate using 2 browsers!
I notice that 2 other people have this problem but I don't see where they left any post. I really wish Norton, Firefox, and Facebook would get this ironed out. I never had a problem with anything until this and I don't like to spend all my time trying to troubleshoot something I don't understand! Anyway, thanks for listening. -
Ok... 100% honesty instead of making some story up; my boyfriend had an affair; mostly online. When I caught wind of this he mass cleared the whole internet history. This was at the end of august.
I have found the places.sqlite file using the manager add-on. BUT the old history is not there. There is history there from the last month and it shows me pages that were individually deleted but none of the old history is there. I want to go as far back as March 2013 if I can. My bf knows I am doing this and said he would give me any password I may need to do so.
I feel like Iv been living a lie for months and I want some piece of mind.
I need to make a big decision right now and seeing this history will help me.

All of a sudden, iTunes wont verify my billing address. It accepted it just fine when i verified it a few days ago and ive made several purchases since then. But now my formerly valid address in invalid. This happened to me about a month ago as well.
