TS4079 Cannot see siri in my settings general. I am in iPhone 4 s and iOS 6

I want to use siri but cannot see it in my settings general. I am using iPhone 4S and iOS 6

Try rebooting your iPad:  Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons.  See if you can turn Siri on after your phone comes back up......

To create a book for all devices, you need to do it in .epub format.  The apple app for that is Pages.

  • HT4623 I cannot see sw update button in general section, pls help how to update iOS in my iPad 2

Hi I want to upgrade my iOS to 5 in my ipad2 but I cannot see nay upgrade button in the setting section.pls help how to upgrade my iOS now

The Settings > General > Software Update option only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, as you have iOS 4 you can only update to iOS 7 (that is the only version that you can update to) via your computer's iTunes, as described half-way down the page that you posted from. You will need the current version of iTunes on your computer : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad via File > Devices > Back Up
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand sidebar, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button
    Updating to iOS 5+ : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4972
If you do update you can't then uninstall it

  • HT4623 Why don't I see "software upgrade" under settings/general.

Need to upgrade my os on iPad....instructions say go to settings/general/software upgrades......I don't have a software upgrades?   I am connected to Internet.....

The option to update without the computer (Over the air) was made available with iOS 5. If your iDevice is using a version of iOS lower than 5, you will need to use iTunes on your syncing computer to perform the upgrade. Use the Apple link below as a guide for the upgrade.

Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Check for Updates “...
If an Update Appears Install it... if not... you are up to date for your particular Device...

  • HT4972 iPad2 - why do I not see software update under settings, general?  I am trying to update to ISO5

iPad 2 I am trying to update to ISO5;however, when I go to setting, general, I do not have software update as directions show on apple support.

From my experience, you need 6.1.3 to download ios 7. I have tested this with six devices, one ios 5, one ios 6.1.3, and others 6.1.2. The ipad 2 that was 6.1.3 had the option available while the other five did not, then i updated my ipad mini to 6.1.3, after that the ios 7 option under settings was available. Please share your experiences too, thanks. And i would like someone to prove me wrong saying they updated directly from something not 6.1.3 to ios 7

  • Cannot see mobile.me in settings on my iPod touch.

Is this an application that must be installed.

    Hi acheslin,
What's your current firmware version? I'm asking you this, because you need to have, for at least, the 2.0 version.
If you have 1.x, then buy the 2.1 update, using [this link|https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/touchLandingPage]!
    Hope this helps!

  • I downloaded an app but cannot see it, i click on the OPEN button in the app store, and can't open the app

I downloaded an app in the app store, but cannot open it.  When I go back to the app store and click on OPEN, it doesn't do anything, please help

Try a Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)
Does it show in Spotlight a search?

  • Sbs2008 seems to want to ping everything in IPv6 and cannot see a lot of hosts by DNS name - causing issues with RWW and Connect to My Computer

    HI,
we have an SBS2008, has been working fine for a long time, don't know when or why this issue has started.
A user couldn't connect to PC using RWW - so I checked rdp to that pc from the server and also couldn't rdp to pc - checked ping and couldn't find host = no DNS (although there IS an entry in DNS).  Ping by IP is fine 192.168.10.114
Added host entry for this PC and all works fine
    BUT...
there are other users with the same problem, and when i ping other devices by name from the SBS it either can't see them, or it uses IPv6 - something i think i remeber us disabling (with the help of Microsofdt Support) year sago when the server went in,
    and had internet DNS issues.
I have tried flushing dns cache on server to no avail.
All PCs show in the SBS console as status "unknown" which i have seen before with DNS issues.
    can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    JJ

    Hi,
Lets make sure we are running Single NIC on the server. DNS pointing to Servers IP Address itself. Disable TaskOffloading and Receive Side Scaling on the NIC and reboot the server.
    Note - Don't disable IPV 6

  • On iPhone 5s, I cannot see more than 11 messages.  I have NOT deleted older ones and need to view them.  How?  Scrolling in the list of 11 does not help.

On iPhone 5s, when I click on "Messages" I can only view eleven when I scroll.  I need to view the older ones which I have NOT deleted.  How can I do that, please?

You need the version of iPhoto that you wan tot use installed and then follow the IPLM directions
    http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/Help/downgrading%20a%20library%20to%20an%20ea rlier%20version%20of%20iphoto.html
Downgrading a library to an earlier version of iPhoto
If you have a library from a newer version of iPhoto that you simply want "downgrade" to an older version of iPhoto, the easiest way to do that is with the "Rebuild Library" command. You will want to be running iPhoto Library Manager on the machine that has the older version of iPhoto you want to convert the library to. This will create a new library and import the entire contents of the original library into the new one using the older version of iPhoto. As with any rebuild, there are some items that will not be included (most notably, hidden photos, books, calendars, and slideshows), but if you have none of these items or don't mind losing them in the downgrading process, then this is a decent option for converting a library to an older version.
