TS4079 Siri is not recognizing any sound at all, what should I do? I press the button and Siri pops-up but it doesn't recognize any command at all actually no sound is displayed like happening on the equalizer, but the speaker works fine

No responsive siri

I figured it out myself. Go into the top right menu in the playback plugin and choose "Start with play action". ****! So simple!

    Hello, bluebelle95.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If your device is not recognized by iTunes, I would recommend the steps in the article below.  Start with the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > Update the Apple Mobile Device Driver.
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

    Hi
How much free space is there on Your Mac main Start-Up hard disk ? for
    • SD-video - I never go under 25Gb
    • HD-material used - I guess that x5 more would do.
Even as DVD is as standard SD-Video it needs space to scale down HD and Mac OS needs lot's for it's temp. files.
I do not "Finalize" or use "Share to iDVD" - but I do "Share to Media Browser" and as Large (not HD or other resolution as this will degrade the final result)

  • My ipod acts as though someone is invisibly pressing the button and starts jumping to different screens without user input any help out there

my ipod touch acts as though someone is invisbly ushing the buttons or moves from screen to screen without usere input

Try the standard fixes to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset. Nothing wll be lost
Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory defaults/newiPod
If still problem you have a hardware problem and service is necessary.

  • TS4079 Siri is not on my i5's keyboard. what should I do ?

I can't use siri to search on google or something. It is missing from my iPhone 5 keyboard

Siri has to be enabled in Settings>General>Siri>on. You are confusing Dictation with Siri. You access Siri simply by holding down on the home button. The microphone in the keyboard is used for dictation instead of having to type using the keyboard.
Not that it much matters, but you are in the iPad forum.

Turn it off and put it in a bag of rice for 5-7 days.  You might get lucky but I wouldn't count on it.
You should have turned it off immediately and put it in rice but since you used it after getting wet, your chances are very slim.

  • SpeedGrade doesn't recognize any of my clips

I have installed SpeedGrade CC, but it doesn't recognize any of my video clips, no thumbnails are shown and Adobe says "Error reading file". I have AVCHD clips, Canon EOS 7D clips, and some froma GoPro Hero3, none of these are recognized.

Here you have a list of supported formats: http://helpx.adobe.com/speedgrade/using/file-formats.html  AVCHD and MP4 are not supported, but if Canon 7D files are in Quicktime wrapper, it should be readed.

  • TS4079 Siri is not recognizing all of my appointments on my calendar help??

One day she recognized all of my appts the next day not help?

I had the same problem in iOS 7.  Siri name recognition worked for me for awhile then stopped working with Siri saying "I don't see" <name> "in your contacts."  To fix it I went into Settings > General > Restrictions > (entered my passcode) and then I disabled and re-enabled Siri.  That cleared the problem and Siri now recognizes my contacts again.

he advises restarting by inserting the OSX disc and pressing down the C button to reboot from there then selecting disk utility, hard disk and repair.... Does he mean me to hold down the C key on the alpha keyboard or the ctrl key?
Should I just ask for my money back??? If it is a simple repair do I just literally push the disc in, push the power button and hold down the C button?
That's where I would begin, too, with
    Repair Disk
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.TStatus of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report if it saysanything but Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need touse autility like TechTool Pro,Drive Geniusor DiskWarrior
First we need to determine if the issue you are experiencing with the computer is software or hardware based. Once we have gotten things sorted out there should be time enough to make you decision about keeping or returning it.

Tried all of the recommended resets and combinations mentioned, but the ipod is still not recognized.  Genius at apple said it may be a hardware error, "The button is broke" but all of the buttons and cords work and i proved it to him. He then said he doesnt know, ma Now what?

If it does not work on other computers then I agree with the Genius

  • Trial Version of elements 13 running on latest IMac 27 inch.  Move the mouse and it is time out.  Doesn't matter where on the window the mouse is. The program does not respond quickly at all. Takes ages to do anything with it.  Any suggestions?

I am running a trial version of Elements 13 on the latest IMac 27 inch.  Any move of the mouse and it is time out.  Doesn't matter if the mouse is trying to do an edit or just moving across the window.  The program does not respond very well at all.  I am wondering now if I should bother purchasing the program.

How much ram do you have? Did you recently import a bunch of photos into the organizer? PSE will be slow till it's through cataloguing them, which can take some time for large number of images.

  • I connected an external monitor to my MacBook Pro, but it doesn't open any programs. It Just sits there with a blank screen.  How do I get it to open programs and act like a monitor?

I connected an external monitor to my MacBook Pro, but it doesn't open any programs. It Just sits there with a blank screen.  How do I get it to open programs and act like a monitor?

    Dear Jean:
It sounds like you are trying to get your external monitor to act as the primary viewing screen. For example it would have your Doc, Icons, Etc. In order to make the external monitor the primary screen you have to:
    Open System Preferences.
    Choose the Displays Icon
There will be several tabs to choose from pick Arrangement
Drag the toolbar to desired display
Let me know if this helps at all!

  • My computer suddenly decides not to work and turns on but does not go past the grey apple screen with the loading wheel.. it will not go to my desktop. What should i do?

can somebody please help me fix this issue, i have been sitting at my computer all last night and this morning trying to figure it out. It could be the hardrive or anything really i just need to get it working. Alot of important things that need to be done using this computer and i am freaking out.
My computer suddenly decides not to work and turns on but does not go past the grey apple screen with the loading wheel.. it will not go to my desktop. What should i do?

Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. Be sure to either use the disc that came with your Mac, or, if you installed a later Mac OS X version from disc, use the newer disc. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option Key until the Install Disk shows up) until the apple shows up. That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
Or if you are running 10.7 Lion, boot from the recovery partition (Command +R on boot) and use Disk Utility to repair your OS 10.7 partition.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Disk Utility and click it. When it comes up is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
If it is, then click on the Mac OS partition of your hard drive in the left hand list. Then select the First Aid Tab and run Repair Disk. The Repair Disk button won't be available until you've clicked on the Mac OS partition on your hard drive. If that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions. After repairing use Startup Disk from the same menu to choose your hard drive for restarting from your hard drive.
If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead.
