My ical on my iphone is not continuing to sync my old events from my ical even though they show up in iCloud? It does sync old reoccurring weekly events but not single events. Anyone know of a soulotion.

HT2534 Hacker got my firsts email I was able to change / createu new apple account. I can not get apps to change account to new apple account even though it shows it in settings . How can I fix this? but

My first apple account was email was hacked. I needed to create a new one. That was fine I did. I synch it. All music is fine, settings shows new account. However, problem...........please help my apps still has old account it has been deactivated so I can't download the password to make it work. I need apps to change to new email account that shows in settings ! HELP!!!!! Does anyone know how to fix this ?

There is no way to consolidate iTunes accounts.
Setting up an iPhone has never required creation of a new Apple ID.
You've apparently purchased content with both Apple ID's. Sign into the device with the correct Apple ID and sync the content.

When I re-open Firefox every day, it brings up old tabs from tabbed browsing, even though I keep closing them. It's not App Tabs, but just regular tabs from tabbed browsing. How do I keep them shut down?

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled or not compatible extensions in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end of the Search bar to check if there is a compatibility update available.
There is software like Advanced SystemCare with its Surfing Protection feature that can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes.
If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.

Mail 8.2 is not enabling me to choose a signature from "All Signatures", even though the signature is listed. Anyone have a solution for this?

This is just one of many problems I've encountered since "upgrading" to Yosemite... including the unexpected necessity to purchase a whole new MS Office for Mac Suite! Now, in Mail, my previously automatic signature has disappeared, and despite following all on-screen instructions (Mail > Preferences > Signatures), "Choose Signature" reads only "none" and will not let me select any of the signatures that are contained in the signature windows above. It is extremely frustrating to have to type signatures into every outgoing email.

ok, i've just run a specific test.
1 - Online, ensure that mail is sync'd
2 - Disable network connection, confirm that mail has moved to offline mode
3 - Delete 20 messages in a folder
4 - Conifm they have been deleted (whilst still offline)
5 - Re-enable network connection, leave machine alone for 5 minutes
6 - Confirm that messages haven't been deleted and are still in the folder untouched
7 - Whilst still online, try to delete one or more of the messages, they vanish for a moment, then re-appear
8 - ***
Can replicate this at will......surely this isn't just me?

Page setup still shows page count and date. (No surprise because it shows in the print preview.)
Tried with three printers: HP DeskJet 930 - no footer; Brother HL5250DN - no footer (also no bottom margin); PDFCreator 1.2.1 - footer appeared!
The last result makes it look as though the problem is somehow related to the printer or printer driver.

IPhone's iCal has events back to 2008, even though not in iCal on computer?

I recently upgraded my iPhone to firmware v3.0, and iTunes to 8.2.
Upon syncing, I noticed that my iPhone has iCal events going back months (and some even to 2008), that are not in the iCal on my computer. My computer doesn't have ANY events prior to today (July 18), yet my iPhone seems to remember some prior events I had on it dating back to September 2008, and many in between. Why this discrepancy and how can I fix it? (and yes, I've checked the "don't sync events more than 1 day old", and opened up the iCal preferences/advanced tab and checked the "Delete events 1 day after they have passed" box, to no avail).

No, not even that...just random stuff....Dental Appt on September 28, 2009....Register for school on January 17, 2009, etc., etc.
Mind you, there were many more things on (and in between) those aforementioned dates, but for some reason a few of these random calendar events just won't leave my iPhone. Granted, I could manually delete said events from my iPhone, but that is really tedious and there's like 60 of them.
Any advice as to why random dates are plaguing my iPhone's iCal would be greatly appreciated.

Devices refer to iDevices... iPod... iPhone... iPad. .. Not Computers.
Authoriation applies ONLY to Computers... of which there is a Limit of 5 per Apple ID.
If the issue is with iTunes on your Windows Computer... Perhaps you need to Re-install iTunes...

In the Event mode use the View ➙ Sort ➙ By Date ➙ Decending menu option. Then the latest imports will be near the top of the Event window (depending on when the photos were taken of course).
Or Control-Click on one of the thumbnails in the Last Import album and select Show Event from the contextual menu:

"Unknown Artist" comes up on iPhone music library for some albums even though they have an artist in iTunes, Also some artwork not showing on iPhone even though the artwork for the album is on the iTunes library on my iMac

Trying to copy full albums onto my iphone 5s, some (About 25%) albums have "unknown artist" where the artist should be, even though they have the correct artist names in Itunes on my MBP.
Also some albums dont have artwork on the iphone but it is there on itunes on my MBP.
Is there a fix?

When you fix track names and album art in iTunes the information is written to an XML database and not to the file itself. You can use Doug's scripts to embed meta information to the file.

Chicky, I have searched my computer for "iPod Photo Cache" and 51 folders pop up, plus 3 files (iPodInfo.plist, Photo Database and Image DB Temp.tmp). How do I know which to delete and which to keep? The Apple website page tackling this issue doesn't go into any detail. Thanks yet again.
