You're talking about a mac, right? There is no icloud icon on a mac except in System Preferences. Perhaps that icon belongs to some other application that is independent of iCloud; perhaps some other cloud service?

I looked under file but I couldn't find the "Genius & Playlist" option. I also looked under the other options on the top left side but I couldn't find it there either. right now it is the middle of april and i bought the ipod at the beging of Agust the year befor so it still has not been a year. currently it is thursday and the screen changed to the white and black corner on the monday earlier in the week (so 4 days ago). i had just broken up with my gril friend and we were fighting. in anger i through my ipod at the wall. i was aiming for my pillow on my bed so it would hit something soft but i missed and it hit the hard concrete wall in my room. when i looked at my ipod it had turn itself off and when turn on the screen was white with a little black in one corner. i have tryed to restart it by holding down the power and home button till it restarted but the screen only got brighter and then eventually went back the the brightness it was before and turn off. i can still turn the screen on but cant unlock. i know it is still working cause my alram still goes off in the morning. the ipod is a 4th generation ipod touch 16 GB memory and is black. can this be fixed at home on my own or do i have to take it in to apple. can apple even fix it or is my ipod past the point of repair. any advice would be nice. thanks in advance.

My ipod nano 6th generation doesn't appear on my itunes or my computer everything is up to date on my laptop and when plugged in theres a charging symbol on the battery in the upper right hand corner

It's been almost three years since I bought and set up my most recent Mac but if I recall correctly .....
When you initially set up your Mac, you were offered the opportunity to snap a photo of yourself in order to associate your photo with your user account on the computer. If you declined the photo I think the Mac will pick or suggest a picture from the preinstalled selections in the accounts pane of the system preferences. You can change the picture but you cannot delete it totally. That picture is part of your ID for that user account on the Mac.
If you want to change it, Open System Preferences and click on accounts. Click on your account to change the picture. You will have to unlock the preference in the bottom left corner - and to do that - you need to enter your password. Click on the picture of the Eagle and then all of the preinstalled photo choices pop up in another window. Select another photo and then clcik the lock icon again when you are done.

10.4.7 Install: Lost icons in the upper right hand corner

Hi,
Just installed the update (10.4.7) and I have lost all of the icons in the upper right hand corner of my screen (battery/time/ect).
Anyone know how to recover those icons. I tried a repair permissions, to no effect.

It's the screen rotation lock symbol.
When your screen is locked, photos won't rotate when you turn you iPhone sideways (or visa versa)
It's for better viewing or a wider picture view.
You can change it with the same icon in the slider menu from the bottom of your screen (upper right side).
It toggles on or off.

When I open an email, my computer won't go to the link listed, or when I am doing research the same thing, then I see a ALLOW in the upper right hand corner of the screen and I have to click on that. What happened and how do I fix this?

Somehow my settings have changed. When I open an email and there is a link, my computer won't allow it, also when I am doing a search, my computer won't allow certain links to open.
What I see is "ALLOW" in the upper right hand corner of the screen, and I have to click on that in order to continue my email or do a search. How did this suddenly happen and how do I change it back to being able to roam the Internet without having to click on ALLOW all the time?
Also, I set up Google as my home page, but it won't list Email or any other options. I have to type in Google in the Google box, then Email appears. How do I get the right Google set up as my home page so I can access Email without jumping through hoops.

How do I move Start from the upper right-hand corner of the screen to bottom left of screen?

For some reason, I accidentally hit a button which moved my Microsoft Start button to the upper right hand corner of the screen. I would prefer the Start button to be in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. Please advise.

Sorry, that isn't a Firefox support issue. The Start button is a part of the WinXP operating system. <br />

Just switched from CS6 to PS CC. I am very comfortable using ACR in previous versions. I liked to use the preview checkbox located in the upper right-hand corner to see before and afters. That checkbox is no longer in my version of PS CC. I see that they have side-by-side, top and bottom and right and left before and after options in the lower right-hand corner in this version. Is there anyway to get that legacy preview checkbox back so that I can use it?

Sounds that you have security software that doesn't trust Firefox and blocks internet access by default, so you need to check that out and make sure that Firefox gets full and unrestricted access to internet.
