TS4147 How do I resolve duplicates resulting from contacts created from different accounts?

I have duplicate contacts in my address book. I discovered by merging that the duplicate contacts were created from different accounts. How do I ID the account the contact was created from? Note: the duplicates are in my address book only. I do not have any duplicates on iCloud.

The duplicate list you were seeing were contacts stored locally on the computer. Since you had not other accounts listed, maybe you had the ON MY Mac enabled in the list before, possibly syncing to yahoo, etc.
If you had gone to the main page in the address book window in the accounts/user and group window, you should have seen ON My Mac, iCloud, and any other accounts or groups. You probably had All Contacts selected and were seeing duplicates. You could have just selected the On My Mac contacts or iCloud Contacts and you should not have seen the duplicates.
It's a bit confusing since each Lion update changed something in the way iCloud worked with address book.
But at least you have it resolved.

Try to use BBP_PD_BID_GETDETAIL function module.
Check E_HEADER_REL-OBJECT_A = 'BUS2121'. If the field value exists, then the bid document is from shopping cart.

IPhone 3gs,IOS4.3.5 and contacts added not from contacts (maybe from gmail)

I hope someone can help with this. I had a contact added to my iPhone 3GS (4.3.5) that I did not add. This contact was from a person that I deleted from any of my contacts from over a year ago. This is causing extreme grief to me and my significant other. I don't know where it came from and I am guessing that the recent IOS upgrade and Gmail decided to add this contact from old emails. in DBM you regulary have mulitiple invoices per order (due to split).
You either can cancel an certain invoice and adapt the order or create a returns order based on an given order where you can select certain (e.g. invoiced) items.

Running 10.8 (Mt. Lion) on my iMac, I changed backups via iTunes on my iMac to iCloud, and now I have duplicate calendars on both my iMac and in iCloud (so far my iPhone has not been afftected—knock on wood!)

Check your calendar on icloud.com to see if there are duplicates there. If not, open Calendar on your Mac, click Calendars on the top left if your calendars are not visible in the left sidebar, then see if you might have a duplicate calendar listed under On My Mac. If so, either delete it or uncheck it so it is no longer in view.

I am using OIM 9.1.0.2 to provision Active Directory accounts.
I run into issues when the DN of the user to be created already exists and I would like to know if anyone has some logic I can use to generate a different DN for new user by adding a number or something like that to the DN
Here is an example.
User 1 exists already and their DN: cn=john smith, cn=users, dc=company,dc=org
New user joins the company and his name is also john smith and he has no middle name: so system attempts to create his account as cn=john smith, cn=users, dc=company,dc=org
how can I accomplish this by making the account say cn=john smith_1, cn=users, dc=company,dc=org

1. How to generate a sequence of candidates for the name attribute
2. How to check if a record with the given name candidate already exists in the Active Directory, and hence try the next candidate from the sequence.
The answer for the first part is usually defined by the policy existing in your organization, in the simplest case you can append sequential integer numbers to the end of the original name.
The answer for the second question is not so simple if you use are provisioning with MSAD connector.
There are two places you can put the check:
-- in the pre-populate adapter for the UD_ADUSER_COMMONNAME field
-- in the adpADCSCREATEUSER event handler, which is responsible for new AD user record creation.
Both cases need some coding, since you have to obtain the AD connection and search AD for matching records.

Placing check code in the pre-populate adapter:
Pros:
the result is visible in the form, administrator can change the pre-calculated value if he wishes
Cons:
you need to have all access to connection parameters, and establish one extra connection
this is not the way OIM is supposed to work :-(

Pros:
you have all access to connection parameters, and open a connection here anyway
Cons:
the result is not present in the form, so no way for manual interaction by administrator here
BTW: this problem is not only related to DN generation, some other AD attributes (e.g. sAMAccountName, mailNickName, userPrincipalName, mail) should be unique in the AD domain scope.

I have not found any notes or documents from SAP to explain this.

Duplicate bookmarks in PDF created from Framemaker 8

Hello,
I'm working on some legacy content using Framemaker 8 p266. Every time I create a PDF, I get duplicate bookmarks. The first set is wrong, and the second set is formatted correctly and contains the right content.
For example, it basically looks like the PDF is grabbing all of the content from the Table of Contents page, and then listing the correct bookmarks (Section title, heading 1) after that.
I'm creating my PDF using the Save As PDF option. In the PDF Setup for Selected Files dialog, I do have the Generate PDF Booksmarks option enabled, "Bookmarks Expanded Through Level" is set to None, and in the Include Paragraphs field I have Appendix Title, Head 1, and Section Title.
I'm using Adobe Distiller XI, maybe that's my problem.
Any ideas? I would appreciate it.

Are these duplicates side-by-side (e.g. A and then A again) or one after another (A, B, C... and then A, B, C...)?
If they're one set after another, FM picks up the list of paratags to include in the bookmarks list from the first file in the book, so if this doesn' contain everything, it might help to import the additional formats into that one. Then clear/remove the exisiting bookmarks and only add back the Titles and Heading1 bookmarks (check that the TOC ones remain in the Don't include list).
