When you say a new user ID, are you referring to your Apple ID that you use to make purchases in the iTunes Store, etc? Or are you talking about a new user account on the same Mac?

* Smart folders show a list created by a query of the places.sqlite database that stores bookmarks and history in Firefox.
* Smart folder lists show a maximum of 10 entries by default.
* Bookmarks and history items that show up in a smart folder list are stored elsewhere in another folder and any changes made are applied to the real bookmark or history item.
You will have to visit such a link often enough to make it appear in Most Visited.
You can make the Visit Count column visible in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) via the Views menu.
You can clear all history to reset the visit count. -

how to I sync my iphone contacts to icloud without losing contacts? I am afraid to turn "on" the button to sync to the cloud because I am not sure if the contacts from my phone merge to the icloud or is it that the icloud information merges to my phone? My phone has the most current data and at one point I did have the contact syncing to the cloud, but then turned it off. Now, I want to turn it back on.
How do I know I won't lose the data on my phone only to be replaced with old data from the cloud?it does not seem to work for me. I have backed up my iphone 5s with a back up from my previous 4. the back-up process works fine, I can see all my contacts in the phone but then I activate icloud (on which there are no contacts) and all my contacts disappear instantly... I tried 5 times now and everytime the same result. I'm considering to stop using the cloud all together.
I've tried to manually back-up to icloud immediatly after restoring back-up on the phone, it didn't work.

Help has arrived to assist you with getting those contacts on both your devices. The Verizon cloud service is definitely a great tool to use and you can also use Apple iCloud as well. When you sign into the Verizon cloud on your iPad does it give an option or message to restore?
