I have " No service" "Searching..." message on my Iphone 3gs and i have tried all the mentioned steps but issue still persists.
i am in contact with the support center but response is poor.
i am struggling with it now without any solution.

If neither of the above and you don't have the CD and can't find your tracks on the computer then they you're stuck. A file recovery utility will cost $100, plus another $100 for an external drive to which to resue the files, and may not even work. You can buy a lot of CDs for $200. -

I don't know what other information to supply. The above question sums the problem up fully. The cache simply will not clear/empty.

Yes, I have followed the instructions under How to clear the cache, as well as those under Clear Recent History. Options - Advanced - Network - Offline Storage - Clear Now. In addition, my settings specify to clear cache upon closing Firefox. Nothing is working at this point (and hasn't for months, although it used to a long time ago).
I don't know about this 'about:cache' thing. That just gets me to a general google search page.
As far as your questions:
I want to clear the cache to get rid of older links (and get fresh links) at the farmtowngifts.com site. So it's not a major problem, as I could simply quit using Firefox when I have exhausted all current links there, and use a different browser. I don't use Firefox for anything else anyway.

Have you tried deleting the account, then restarting your ipad and then re add the account?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Nieuw op dit forum toch gelijk al een brandende vraag: wij hebben na jarenlang 2 Power Macs G4 gedeeld te hebben nu een iMac G5 aangeschaft die we dus samen met de G4 willen delen. Nu krijgen we alleen de oude Mac niet meer opgestart. Verscheidene toetscombinaties geprobeerd maar niets werkt. Afwisselend krijgen we een blauw scherm met pijlen of een grijs scherm met een map met vraagteken. Iemand een idee wat we kunnen doen? Apple zelf ondersteunt niet meer apparatuur van 7 jaar en/of ouder. Mogelijk ligt het ook aan het netwerk of heb ik iets niet goed aangesloten. De iMac G5 draait ook onder 10.4.11.

Try holding the Option/alt key down at bootup, does the Startup Manager show any Drives to boot from?

iOS 5.1.1 Software Update - just tried to update and it didn't work! Got to the final stages and was presented with error 1602! My screen now has the frozen image of the itunes logo and usb thing. Happened once before - funnily enough when doing an update back in November - I had to visit an Apple store to have the phone restored. Would appreciate any advice as I would like to avoid another trip to the apple store.
found the real problem.
In my laptop where it couldn't detect the iphone and ipad, this folder is missing:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
The ipad was wrongly using a microsoft driver.
I found the correct drivers in:
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\usbaapl64.inf_amd64_neutral_c111a aecb61e9a2b
Copy the contents to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
After that, I had to update the driver for Ipad in device manager.
Ipad was found under: "Removable Devices", as a storage device.
Once that is fixed, itunes can detect ipad, and I can restore it.
Apple should really look into ensuring that folder doesn't go missing during itunes update process. -
I have had 6 replacement Iphone 4s and still my issue has not been resolved. What more must I do to have a telephone that can receive phone calls without me having to check it every 20 mins to make sure I have network service. Renewing the simcard has also not worked.
I was thinking that Kabel Deutschland might be the problem but my wife has a Iphone 3GS on the same network and she never has the no service problem. Also when I said I have had 6 replacements yes they all had at one time or another this issue with no service but they had other issues like not switching off or bright spots on the screen etc etc. Also the sim card has been replaced twice

As it's a £25 card I assume that your account is also based in the UK (cards are country-specific). If it is and the page that you posted from doesn't help (the code on my card is longer, so is it possible that you've scratched some of it off ?) then you will need to try contacting iTunes support (you will need to give them as much of the serial number and activation code from the card as you can read) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes -
After updating to itunes 10 I now get an error message that says there is a problem with the windows installer package. I have tried all the things that others suggested but cannot download itunes at all now. Have I lost itunes forever?

My PC repeatedly asks for authorization when opening I-tunes library (wont let me play tunes), have tried ALL the suggestions to remedy authorization but to no avail. Anyone got any other suggestions I could try please? I would have thought I-tunes itself should come up with a precise answer to this sort of problem after all this time??

Click the Assist me button and select Assistant. Follow the prompts. You may get a warning that Wi-Fi is not available, that you're too far from the base station, or that you're using the wrong password.

From the Location menu at the top of the window, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Apply and test. -
I have done all the above. I am in Germany using an iPad 2, trying to call an iPad 2 in the UK. My IPad goes through the call and then times out. I have been on the phone to the receiver at the time so know they had their iPad on.
What do you mean that you can't "call" an iPad in the UK?? That doesn't particularly make sense. You can email to an iPad or text them, but the iPad is not a phone, so how do you expect to "call" them??
