If your iMessage and FaceTime still hasn't activated by now, I would recommend you use this specific section of the following article as long as you verify you've done all the other troubleshooting from it for this issue:
If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime 
If you're using an iPhone, contact your carrier to make sure that you can receive SMS messages.
Contact Apple Support.

    Yes, try to set it up as new device without any other apps installed and check if your Wi-Fi function is back again.
    If it is, restore from the backup you made. It might be that your backup contained damaged files, causing your problem.

    Were you able to reset the account's password ? If not then how did you try to get it reset e.g. http://iforgot.apple.com (which would have sent it to the rescue email address if you have one on that account) ? You can also try contacting iTunes Support in your country to get it reset : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
    And no, accounts can't be merged nor content transferred between accounts.

    Did you download Tron in HD? If so, try syncing the SD version that came with it

    The email response is automated, and almost certainly is detected as "junk" or "spam". So, try again and check your spam folders for their reply.

    This happened after I got my carrier to unlock my phone.

    Hi, I tried all the steps listed in these forums and they didn't work (I deleted the apps and added them back, I dled a new app, I signed in and out of my acct, I synced my phone, I did a reset holding down the power and home button, etc.). Finally I just restored the phone and added back the apps I wanted. That took care of it. Thanks.

    Sounds like you have a "damaged track" or "damaged file".
    This worked for me today downloading Kendrick Lamar's new Album "good kid, m.A.A.d city".
    My situation: I bought the album today for my Mac,  MacBook Pro, iPad 2, and iPhone 4S devices.
    Issue: One song (only on my MacBook Pro) would not play, instead display "
    EX: left"
    Solution: 1. Manually delete the song (giving you the error) permantly from the authorized computer.
    2. Open iTunes, Click iTunes Store (left sidebar), and locate Quick Links and then click Purchased to proceed.
    3. Click "Not On This Computer", find the song that wouldn't play, and re-download it again.
    4. Check your Music Library for your song (Should download inside the associated album) and hit play.
    EX: (Song I purchased that wouldn't play because of authorization, playing)

    My first generation iPad is no longer recognized in iTunes. It just doesn't show up neither via USB nor via wi-fi.
    I've checked the usb connection and cable and its OK.
    I checked that iTunes is up to date on my Mac.
    I reinstalled iTunes on my Mac. 
    I restarted my Mac,
    I've restarted my iPad.
    The iPad has IOS 4.3.1 (8G4) installed. And without the iPad being recognized in iTunes  I can not update the IOS nor apps, nor remove unneeded photos. The iPad is completely filled up, no memory left to allow even updates via cellular or via wi-fi.
    Trying to gain access to update the IOS and to update APPS and to remove the pics I already have backed up and do not need on this iPad locally.
    PS: I even tried to connect the iPad to a different Mac and it was not seen in that iTunes either.
    So, what can I do now?
    Any suggestions besides using it as a paper weight?

  • Tried to upgrade Firefox, followed all the steps, but on homepage still says I need to upgrade to the latest version.

    On the start page it said that I needed to update Firefox to the latest version. So I clicked on update and followed all the steps. I clicked to save to desktop, but there is no icon there and when I go to the start page, it keeps saying that I need to update Firefox to the latest version. Also when I try to play my games at Pogo.com, it says I have a pop-up blocker on and the games will not load. How do I get rid of this? Can't find a pop-up blocker in my tool bars. Is it a part of the Mozilla Firefox?
