Try this even if you have already. Just make sure to follow the steps specifically.
Go to settings > Facetime > send and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out. If your not signed in then that will work as well.
Go to settings > Messages > sent and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out.
Restart the iPad by doing the slide to power off setup. Just hold the power button on the top right till it turns off.
After the iPad has been restarted:
Go to settings > Facetime > and sign in
Go to settings > Messages > and sign in
Wait about 3 min then restart the iPad again. Same instructions as above.
When you restart you should be able to use messages again. If not then call support again and talk to someone higher than the first level support they have.

I'm having a very similar issue, paired with iTunes not being able to get online.
iTunes shows up in processes and then hangs at 17,000 K or so -- sometimes it will start up, but that (if it occurs) is a delay of literal hours.
Pretty meticulously went through all the 'cannot connect' trouble shooting, and have uninstalled, restarted, and then reinstalled every piece of apple software; issue is just as firm. Starting in safe mode or admin mode don't fix it; signing in as a different user doesn't fix it. -
My airport turns off by itself and I have to restart the computer for it to work again and it only turns off again. I have Mac OS X version 10.6.8. What can I do to solve this problem?
Usually the HDD is the frist place to look. Use the original install disk and start up the MBP with the C key down. Go through the installation process until you see on the display a menu bar on top.
Click on UTILITIES.
From the drop down menu select Disk Utility.
Open Disk Utility>First Aid and run Verify and Repair.

Why does my 3GS have a white screen sometimes, and I have to lock the screen for it to go back to lock screen? Sometimes I have to attempt the lock screen several times, and it still doesn't work. I, then, attempt to restart it by powering it down, and the lock screen will appear again. The display goes out sometimes while I am on a call, and I can't hang up. I have to go through this hole process over and over again.
The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:

My iPhone 4 is having issues w/the home button. It doesn't work at all and I have to shut the phone own completely each time I want to toggle back and Roth ou of different apps, to us the phone, take pics., etc. Is there a fix for this issue or will I need a new phone?
Open any default IOS application ( like calculator, weather, stocks etc) on the iPhone
Press and hold the Power button till the ‘Slide to Shutdown’ screen appears.
Now release the Power button and gently hold the Home button.
Try this a couple of times if it doesnt work first time. -

I lost the file, edit toolbar when I tried to retrieve my active bookmark tabs toolbar. Last night I needed to print an airlines boarding pass and naturally I was very annoyed. While trying once again to find the toolbar, the internet address bar disappeared. Please help.
Firefox 3.6+ versions have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.
Hit the '''Alt''' key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark. <br />
The F10 can also be used on most PC's to temporarily reveal the Menu bar.

I had an unauthorized purchase on my old apple ID so I created a new one since the old one had been deactivated and now I cannot update any of my apps, I have read that the apps will be tied to the old account but since the old one was deactivated I cant update them and I do not want to delete/lose their data, re download, and start all over again. Is there anyway to go around this issue?

However, I asked them to reopen it, and they just asked me to provide some security information (billing address, a recent purchase you made, etc.), and then they re-enabled it.

I recently "Erased all content and settings" on my iTouch and during the reset, it ran out of battery and it has been the apple logo and a loading symbol on the screen for 2 and a half days now. What do I do?
I did drop it from about 4 and a half foot during the reset so I don't know if that has broken it.See if placing the iPod in Recovery mode will allo iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore it.
