On OS X, find out which addresses are enabled:
In Messages, choose Messages > Preferences > Accounts. Select iMessage in the left column. Your contact preferences should appear under "You can be reached for messages at:."
In FaceTime, choose FaceTime > Preferences. Your contact preferences should appear under "You can be reached for calls at:."
If you're unable to add an email address for use from there, please reply and let me know any error messages you are receiving or at what step exactly you are unable to continue.

Hey Bumblebee, To each other, no-- would be like trying to call yourself on the same phone. To different persons on other devices??? Not sure you'll have to try, I'm guessing if both are online you may well dial up on both, (once had the same address on the my computer and iPod, both would ring when called, this stopped when I changed the iPod's address). If you change one of the iPod's e-mail address you should be fine. You'll have to do a little experimenting. Hope this helps, Good luck. Cheers.

Add second email address to Message Center

I have a second email address on my verizon email account. I don't know how to add that to the message center when I log in. Can someone advise me please? Thank you.

When you log in to check your Verizon email on the new webmail there is no way to view multiple accounts at once. Your best bet is to use Outlook or another email client and configure that to access multiple accounts.

The inability to make changes to an address book can indicate that the address book data file is corrupt.
You can use '''Tools|Export''' to export the affected address book file (use the LDIF option) and then '''Tools|Import''' to re-import it. Give the file you export to a distinctive name, as it's all too easy to end up with two address books with the same name, such as "Personal Address Book".
Two address books, '''Personal Address Book''' and '''Collected Addresses''' are hard-coded into Thunderbird and you're not allowed to delete them from inside Thunderbird. So, if the affected book is one of these,
* Export it
* Close Thunderbird, locate its profile, and delete ''abook.mab'' (for Personal Address Book) or ''history.mab'' (for Collected Addresses).
* Restart Thunderbird, whereupon it will re-create the deleted address book
* Use '''Tools|Import''' to import your LDIF file
* Open the imported address book, select all (ctrl+a) and drag its Contacts to where you really want them.
Other, that is, user-defined, address books can be freely deleted from within the Address Book window.

How to set up alias iCloud email for Face Time

I have 3 Apple ID accounts, one is only for iTunes, one is for me icloud, and one for my wife icloud
Under my icloud account I have [email protected] with an alias, the alias is what I use for all of my email,
I do not use the [email protected] for anything other than sign in to my icloud account.
I sign in to my icould account with the michael@me, click on add an alternative email and I get this message
The mail alias cannot be the same as a profile email,
I an not understanding what is going on, any suggestions are very much apprciated
If I try and add the alias to any of my other accounts I get "Email address is already verified for another Apple ID."
but looking at my other accounts its not there
I want to use the alias for Face Time

No one can hear me on face time can anyone help? I've tried everything I know which to be honest is not much lol :-) I have tried all instructions on the Internet so far with no luck please help its driving me crazy

I saw one post where a user with the same problem said dust got in the small mic hole. Used a vacuum cleaner to remove. Audio restored.

I would create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. You have to do it in your mane if he is not yet 13.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Then use that account for Settings>FaceTime and Gamecent
If yo want it can also be used for:
- Settings>Messages>Send and receive to allow him to Message
- Settings>iCloud to allow him to have his own calendar and contacts
Continue to use the common ID for Setting>iTunes and App Stores

No, that's not true. This is one of the 'benefits' of Lion (if you want to see it that way). The OS is on a separate partition and you can reinstall the OS without another physical drive.
What you do is reboot the computer while holding down the 'option' key. From the list of disks that show up (you can release the 'option' key now), choose 'Recovery HD'.

I have some problems adding emails, when I tab email configuration it closes and goes to main screen, it nevers shows the options of the actual mail and neither how to add more. It just closes when I tap in email configurations...
