TS4268 I did everything inn this article, and iMessage refuses to verify my email address

HHello,
Until a month ago, I was using iMessage with no problems. Then, my phone asked me for my iMessage password. I entered it, but I haven't been able to reaactivaate iMessage.
On the rare occasion I actually get iMessage to accept my Apple ID, I am unable to verify my email address, no matter which one I enter.  The phone tells  me a varification email has been sent, but it  never comes. I've checked my spam filters multiple times to be  sure.
At this point, I have no idea what to do, and I was wonddering if any of you haave had and mmanaged to solve this probllem.

Are you able to login to the Apple ID site and Manage your Apple ID?
