TS4268 My iMessage keeps on saying "Not delivered".
My iMessage keeps on saying "Not delivered". I don't know why it says that because my carrier is working and I've tired everything, restarting me phone, activated iMessage again, closing the messages icon! I don't know why this happens! Please help! My wifi is also working fine!
Do you have another apple device with iMessage running on it? That was my problem I have a 5s and an ipad 2 and noticed if I turn iMessage off in the settings in my ipad I no longer get that not delivered message on my phone.

Hello BassoonPlayer,
Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using. FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in. This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly. By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you. Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

I keep getting a "not delivered" message when I try to send a picture through imessage
Over the last week each time I sent a picture in iMessage it goes out then I get a "Not Delivered" message. The other person gets the picture even though it says not delivered. I've shut iMessage off then back on, I've done a hard shutdown/restart. I'm not sure what else to do. Is anyone else having this issue and been able to resolve it?

imessage frequently says 'not delivered'. very frustrating!
Down in Washington DC too (on the web-site and in all IMAP clients), since about noon, local time. The "All services are online" at <http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/systemstatus/> looks quite annoying. Especially, since there are multiple threads reporting the same problem, all over the country and even abroad (UK).

Why is imessage saying not delivered to only one of my contacts, all the other contacts I can send messages fine. I tried restarting the phone, I don't know what else I can do. Help please

Why do all my texts say not delivered when the recipient is getting the message mulitple times?
when I send a text to a non-iphone user it says not delivered and it shows the red exclamation point. on the other end the person getting the message gets it 3-4 times. I have done a manual re-boot, checked for carrier updates, turned imessage off, changed the date and changed it back process, ect. and even an apple rep was not able to fix it. anyone have any tricks up their sleeve to help me out? I really don't want to have to go to an Apple store and stand there for them to tell me to do the same thing over and over again.
Yes. Everything in my settings is where it needs to be. And every method I have tried worked but only for a brief time. Then right back to the original problem.

I have an iPhone 5c. Just started having trouble texting certain numbers. They receive them(most of them) but then it comes back to me saying not delivered. Also, their texts to me are delayed, anywhere from 4 to 12 hours.
iMessages. I have gone into settings and turned off iMessages for one minute then reactivated it. Then I turned off network settings and then back on again. Today I'll try and restore the phone again to see if that works. Frustrating!

I have added every combination of area code, no area code, 1, +1 etc. I am not just trying to message her, I am trying to REPLY to her message. Imessages is working fine and as far as I know I am only having trouble messaging 2 people - both with samsung phones. Any suggestions?

Messaging photos saying not delivered
I am sending photos via SMS or email and they keep saying not delivered. So i try again and then the person gets them several times but my phone still says NOT DELIVERED. Then i send photos to another person and it said the photo was delivered as SMS but they didn't get it...
Any ideas ???
I have iphone 4S and just upgraded to IOS 6I have been having this issue for the last two weeks, too. I've rebooted my phone a number of times, reset my network settings 3 times, reset my entire phone once, removed my Sim card twice... I've feel like I've done everything I can based on the troubleshooting I've found online. Seems like an aweful lot of people are having this problem. Constanting getting the "not delivered" when people are actually getting the message. I'll send it as a text message becuase it says not delivered and they will get it twice. Same thing happenes on their end and I'll get stuff twice. I'll send something once and the other person gets it multiple times. Just happens with pictures, and just over the last two weeks or so. This is happening with several different contacts, all of us have updated software. One has an iphone 4S, a couple of us have a 5 and the others all have the 5S. It's driving us all CRAZY.

I am guessing you mean an iMessage.
The recipient may not have their Apple device on WiFi at the time you send the message. -
I have a white iPhone 4S. For some reason I cannot send media (picture,video,etc.) with one of my contacts. I'll send a picture or video and it will go through, say delivered underneath the picture, then 30 seconds later it will say not delivered and I have to send it as a text message. Why is this happening!? It happens connected to wifi and not connected to wifi.
I appreciate the help, thank you!If it says "Delivered" under it to begin with, then you're not sending it as an MMS, you're sending it as an iMessage. It's entirely possible the problem is on the receiving end.

IPhone 4s will not text ANYBODY, says 'Not Delivered' with red !
Okay, so I am so close to smashing this thing I am so mad.
Last night everything was working fine, I could text everyone and everything was sunshine and rainbows. Then in the middle of a conversation my texts suddenly stopped sending, saying not delivered.
At first it was only one person, but now it's EVERYONE on my contacts, iPhone user or not!
I've reset my phone settings, I've tried turning iMessage on and off, I turned SMS on and off, MMS on and off, I called apple and was met with a "Nobody that specializes in your apple product is available at this hour" response, I've tried adding a number to the existing phone number and then texting simply '111-2222' without the area code, I reset my roaming (or whatever that was, looked like *5000-something)
I can receive messages, and I can call people and receive calls, I just can't SEND them!
PLEASE, HELP ME OUT! Im going crazy!Try resetting network settings in the settings and then rebooting the phone.

I can't send photos to my friend it says "Not Delivered" my MMS Messaging is on , my Cecullar data is on , i reset the network settings and still my photo did'nt sent.
It is peculiar, that Chrome, Safari, and Skype can access FB, but not the iPhoto uploader.
Do you see any error messages/ diagnostics in the Console Window, when you try to connect to Facebook?
Launch a Console window from Applications > Utilities and clear the Console Window. Then try to upload. Are there any new messages?
And also launch a Terminal and have a look, if "facebook.com" is properly resolved:
