My Macbook Pro will not start anymore after the update.
When I try to Reinstall Mac OS X Lion using the Recovery by choosing the partition, I got an error message saying that it protected. What should I do?

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.
