video file is not working graphics card not working is their is any software that i can update. or tell me why its not working

If you can see an image on your screen then your graphics card (Intel HD Graphics 3000) integrated into your 13" machine is working just fine.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say that a video file isn't working... how exactly isn't it 'working' and what file format is it in?

I understand that the AMD graphics card is not working on your notebook computer, and that the Intel card is functional. Have you updated all of your HP drivers using the HP Support Assistant? Is there an error message that appears on the screen of your computer? Is this a recent or a reoccurring issue? I would be happy to help you, but first I would encourage you to post which operating system you are using; and whether your operating system is 32 or 64 bit. The more information you can provide, the better!
Which Windows operating system am I running?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?

New graphics card not working in old Pavilion elite

Hey, so i bought a new graphics card, ASUS strix 750ti oc ed., when i plug it in to my Pavilion elite hpe 531sc i get a blue screen with the hp logo and a text saying 'press esc for startup menu' or something like that. Pressing esc does nothing, pressing any other button does me nothing either.
I tried plugging in the old graphics card, it still sort of works except i cant really play games or get my resolution above 800x600, and install the drivers and all for the new graphics card. But the new graphics card still dont work when plugged back in.
So im at a loss here, is my desktop simply too old or something?

AMD graphic card not working

first sorry for my english,
second here are my specifications:
Intel i5 2430m 2,4 GHz
8 GB RAM
SSD Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB and HDD Seagate 750 GB
AMD Radeon hd 6490m
Here is the problem:
two weeks ago i bought new ssd Samsung 850 EVO and HDD caddy. I switched original hdd to caddy and ssd to the place where hdd was before. I installed windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit to ssd, i istalled the latest drivers, but i have problems with AMD graphic driver.
When i start, for exp. Battlefield 3, windows crash and i get blue screen with note, that i have low IOH (NB) voltage (code 0x116). But when i uninstall driver for AMD and run the game on Intel HD 3000 graphic it runs perfectly.
Is it posible, that extra disc need power for working and use the power, which is used for AMD graphic card and that causes AMD for not working?
Sometimes i dont get blue screen, but i get note from windows: AMD driver stopped working and has been recovered Now i am using only intel graphics

AMD Graphics card not working well

I have a HP ProBook 4540s with Intel HD Graphics 4000 and AMD Radeon HD 7500M/7600M Series Graphics.The AMD GPU used to be working fine on all games and applications but now I am experiencing very poor performance with it. Even Intel HD Graphics 4000 works better than AMD GPU at the moment. When I launch any game with "high performance" mode (AMD GPU) the game has low FPS and is really not smooth enough, "laggs". When I play the same game with "power saving" mode (Intel GPU) it works just fine. It means that graphics card for sure has some kind of a problem. What should I do?Re-installing windows or drivers do not help at all. I tried changing the thermal compound and do the dust cleaning but it did not helped either.

Graphics card not working

Hi,
I have just installed a new GEFORCE GT 620 1GB graphics card into my H500s computer. The card does not seem to be working. I have changed the video setup to PEG and set secure boot to disabled and enabled CSM in the BIOS but with no luck. According to the data sheet this card should work. The onboard graphics is still working fine dispite the card being plugged in.
Does anyone know as to why this card is not working.

There are a lot of MBP variants over the five years the model ahs been in production. Our knowing the exact model would help. Do "About this Mac" from teh Apple menu, and in the resulting winodow, click the "More Info..." button. That launches System Profiler for you.
In Profiler's opening screen, Hardware Overview, copy and past that infor here, being sure th delete the serial number, That screen should look like this:
That tells us the specific version. Now select "Graphics/Displays" from Profiler's "Contents" pane on the left and post that info. It looks something like this:
This info is important because some MBP variants had defective video chipsets, one of which qualifies for a free logic board replacement.

Dv9000 graphics card not working

I have had the pavilion dv9000 for 1 year and 7 months now, recently the graphics card has became faulty. When i start the laptop windows xp appears like it is in safe mode which is very annoying.
Wcode: dv9702ea
tried updated/ different drivers
system recovery
restored laptop to factory settings
none of these have worked.
I have heard that faulty graphics cards are common in these models and that there is extended warranty policy.
Having contacted hp they inform me my model does not fall in this category. having paid £500 for this laptop and not used it excessivly I am very dissapointed. Any help or guidance is appreciated,

I think you have pretty well figured out the problem. The motherboard can be repaired or replaced are about all your options.
Please post back if you want some suggestions on how to go about having either done. You are looking at a $150-300 repair and you might want to consider a new laptop because neither option is going to provide you with a good-as-new reliable solution.

Graphics Card not working on my Hp Elite 7300 Series MT

I have a HP Elite 7300 Series MT desktop with the following specs:
Pegatron IPISB-CH2 Motherboard
core i5 2500 3.3GHz
6 GB DDR3 Ram
gigabyte Superb e620 PSU
I just bought a powercolor HD7950 PCS+ graphics card, but it didn't work as I'm not getting any display on the monitor.
I tested the card on another computer and it was working just fine.
can anybody tell me what is the problem, could it be a compatibilty issue because the card is PCIe 3.0 while the motherboard supports PCIe 2.0 ?

This is exactly what I suspected. They are tying to lay the blame on HP, but they simply got ahead of the curve. They knew that HP and other manufacturers didn't have UEFI in their BIOS'es.

Satellite Pro M30 graphics card not working when driver is installed

Hi all,
Im having problem with my nvidia Geforce FX Go5200, in a Satellite Pro M30 laptop, (Intel Pentium M processor 1.7 GHz, 512 Ram). This card was working fine suddenly the notebook stops.
I have formatted the notebook and installed Win XP PRO. After installing the VGA driver I restarted the notebook but black screen started coming up right after the Win XP splash screen appears. The notebook continues to start up but no screen.
It starts just fine in safe mode. I get my best screen by simply disabling the geforce card or uninstalling the driver. I tried to install a new driver for the VGA from the Toshiba download site but same problem appears. I have also tried updating BIOS but nothing happens.
Anyone can help me?

It is very strange issue. It will be really interesting to know if this happen when you use delivered recovery installations CD.
Anyway I presume there is some problem with LCD display. In safe mode the desktop is shown in lowers resolution but when OS starts the resolution will be adapted for standard one (1280x800) and obviously there is the problem.
I am not technician but I recommend you to contact service partner. As far as I know they use special tools and programs for display tests. They can tell you more.

The only way to replace the graphics adapter is to replace the entire motherboard.
Since I live in the middle of the United States, I do not know where you can take your notebook to get the motherboard replaced.

Graphics Card not working as it should?

Hi. i bought a pavilion dv7-4165dx laptop so i could play my favorite games on it, but today when i tried to run need for speed carbon with maximum settings the game started to lag a lot, then i apply medium settings and it still did the same thing until i put the settings on low i could play the game with no problems at all. The lag only happen when the game was at maximum or at medium settings, so my question is that how can a laptop that has a 4250 premium vision graphics card cannot play this game with maximum settings when my 2006 compaq presario can? The new laptop has: AMD Phenom II 850 triple-core processor, 2200MHz with 4 gb of dd3 ram and a 4250 premium vision graphics card.
P.S. I already update everything so updates are not the problem.

We can't compare apple with orange. Playing high grphices game will make machines hotter very quick. In your case, I believe the laptop gets hot and slow things down.

HP3131tx Graphics Card not working

Hey Guys!
I have HP DV6 3131tx, i5 processor, 4Gb RAM and an ATI Radeon HD5650 graphics card. My computer has been playinng my games at a reasonable frame rate on high settings (Crysis, World in Conflict), yet now it doesn't seem to be responding at all. My frame rates on exactly the same settings in both games dropped from aroun 30fps to under 8fps!
I have installed the latest drivers, BIOS, reinstalled them, have the latest Catalyst. I also downloaded the ATI System Monitor, and the graphics card is always on 0% usage, prompting this message! Any help would be greatly appreciated in this matter... It is under warranty, so maybe Iit is a hardware problem?

Graphics card not working in Ps6

Why does Ps6 beta say that my grphics card Intel family chip latest version is unknown? It works perfectly in Ps 4 and Lightroom 4. I will not buy the real version if this issue is not resolved.

Graphics card not working/detecting ~Help Please!

So, I recently started to upgrade my computer. I bought an HP computer the: Hp p7-1414
The only thing that has been changed inside of it is the Power Supply, which i upgraded to 700 watts.

Apply the latest BIOS updates that are posted for your PC. It describes a black screen condition. Version 8.19 includes the 8.18 fixes. You will need to disable Secure Boot.
