Ts440 updated bios now it won't boot

Hi all, I updated the bios using the drivers found on the lenovo drivers page and now the computer is stuck on the Thinkserver splash screen. I can't get into bios by pushing F1 or even get into boot order with f12.
I've tried using the bios recovery tool and all it says is "bios is recoverying..." for a long period of time.
Am i pretty much screwed here? i'm running windows 8.1. Everything was running fine until I tried to update the bios.

Thanks Nivek, Lenovo replaced my board under warranty and i'm up and running again!

If you live near an Apple store take it in for diagnosis. Don't forget to make an appointment online first. If you don't live near a store, you may get help by searching "youtube" for DFU Restore ipod. This is not difficult to do but it requires proper timing to get the device into DFU mode.

Updated BIOS, now I can't boot

I just ran the BIOS Update utility that I downloaded from this website for my U310 laptop, and now when I power the computer on, I get this screen:

After a few seconds it takes me to this screen, and when I choose the first option (Intel FFS), it shows me this very screen again:

Update: fixed by changing from RAID to AHCI.

Then your board is most likely defective. Reseat cpu and see if pins in the socket are bent. Else it might be the slots or their wiring.

Updated Bios, Now Overclocking Won't Work

Just updated the Bios from 10.6 to 11.2, changed my overclocking profile to their settings. The base frequency, cpu voltage, ratio, some other voltages can't be changed, they are on auto and won't do anything when I press enter or click on them. I tried the oc genie 2, it didn't change either.

Tried changing the ratio and vcore in the Control Center without any Bios changes, it changed and saved, 4.5 ghz with 1.310v . Then my pc went to blue screen. What would stop the overclocking in this set up:
Enabled: Internal PLL Overvoltage, Execute Disable Bit, Intel Virtualization Tech
Disabled: Limit CPUID Maximum, Power Technology, C1E Support, Overspeed Protection, Spread Spectrum
Also Turbo enabled.

Just tried to install the recent updates and now Mac won't boot.

Clicked restart and was presented with a screen that said "none of the software updates could be installed, an unexpexected error occured" I clicked OK, was was left wi a blank screen that did nothing. So I powered down, and restarted, now I'm presented with a UnIx screen indicating "unable to find driver for this platform" and a window instructing me to restart.
Restarting in any mode, shift, command, command s, etc will not move me past the Mac OS version not yet set screen.
This is a mess. I installed Lion over the Internet and do not have a startup disk I can use to recover and reinstall to even restore from my Tme Capsule ... Isn't there a way I can install over the Internet?

Holding down Option seemed to get me into recovery mode, where I was able to run disk first aid, to repair the disk and permissions.
It repaired dozens of permissions, and stated the HD was OK, but restored boot drivers.
However, I still cannot startup, getting the exact same message.
At this point should I restore from my Time Capsule, or should I reinstall Lion and then restore from my Time Capsule?
Or is there any other way to recover at this point?

Gto major issues here after running the above security patch. I'm on the latest yosemite, on a 2007 iMac, 2.8 extreme. Anyway, the software update seemed to go ok, but, as I always do after updating software, I booted into the recovery drive and ran disk utility. This failed when checking the catalog with an error that the dick couldn't be repaired, back up and restore my files. Exit code 8 ...
when hen I rebooted, the progress bar on the grey screen gets to about a quarter of the way across, and the machine just shuts down.
starting in verbose mode tells me the volume could not be verified
localhost.com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] < Emergency> ...
kext loading now disabled
kext unloading now disabled
kext auto unloading now disabled
kernel requests now disabled ...
killing all processes
cpu halted
and thats it.
Id appreciate any suggestions.

when I ran AHT yesterday ( the short version ) it said there were no problems. However, when I tried the extended test, it froze after about 20 minutes. That reminded me of a previous issue I had with this mac, when the power supply failed : very worried about my 2.8ghz 24in imac
When booting up now, the the mac gets to the grey screen with the Apple logo, and the progress bar gets to about a third of the way across before shutting down. Im now wondering if the power supply has gone, rather than the disk ...
any thoughts on how I could diagnose this one way or the other?

Updated bios and t410 won't boot windows

My t410 was running BIOS version 1.35, and I was trying to use it with 4 displays. After more than 10 hours of reading the knowledgebase, forums, and googling for help, I had come across many articles that probably would have held the solution except when I tried to do the steps involved there was always something that didn't work. So, I decided to flash update the bios to version 1.43 to see if that would fix the problem, and now whenever I power on the laptop, the bios loads, but then I get an error saying "ERROR 1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - power off and remove the miniPCI network card."
So, 1) How do I solve the network card problem, and 2) How do I run more than 2 screens simultaneously.
My machine type model is 25376T1
Embedded controller version: 1.18 (I don't know what this is)
My computer specs: i7 Core, 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA 3100M Graphics (mostly integrated, some discrete graphics as well, I don't know how much of either).

Okay, so I am now aware that the problem with the network card was that it was not bought from Lenovo and only supported on the specific bios version 1.35. That problem is now solved, does anybody have any ideas for my second concern?

Just did the Mac App Store update and now MBP won't boot?!

I just did the Mac App Store software update that required a restart and on bootup it just hangs at the spinning wheel and I can't get anywhere. I've tried resetting the SMC and PRAM, but that hasn't helped. Any ideas here? I can't believe that update toasted my MBP!
And I tried unplugging all my drives from it as well.

Were you trying to install Mavericks? What do you see when you restart your Mac with the Option key held down? Does it indicate the boot volumes is Mavericks or your previous system? If it's Mavericks boot into the Revovery volume and try reiinstalling from there.

After charging the iPod for half an hour, see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will allow iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

Have you tried a hard reset yet to see if that makes a difference? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear. This may take a couple of tries.
