TS4611 MacBook Air 6,2 (Mid 2013) i7 (1,7GHz) 8Gb: Wi-Fi connection issues
Hi,
Im having issues with my Wifi connection.
As troubleshooting I ping google DNS (8.8.8.8), as the same time, a ping the same IP from my router and also ping my router IP.
All ping from my MBA had around 13% - 25% loss packet (to Google and router).
From Router to google, no loss.
I have already tried to do the same from another wifi networks and had the same results.
In all places, when use a thunderbolt adapter to UTP, i had no loss of packets!
Any idea?
Three reasons that I don't want to leave my MBA on Apple:
1- Need on Job
2- Will have to make a backup and delete my files
3- Its a MBA i7 1,7GHz with 8Gb, and they don't have this hardware to sell on store.
Hugs,
Giu
Hi giurizzo,
Based on your description, you may want to double check for any possible sources of local interference that may be leading to your packet loss. You may find the following article helpful:

The keyboard and trackpad on MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013) computers may stop functioning at the Personalize step when installing Windows 7 64bit.

MacBook Air 11-inch, Mid 2013 won't boot with external USB keyboard
Hello,
Just bought a MacBook Air 11-inch, Mid 2013 (8GB, i7, 512GB SSD) today.
All available software updates are installed (OS X 10.8.4 (12E3067)).
Also have a Macbook Pro Retina.
If I connect a external USB keyboard (Kinesis Advantage Pro USB) to the Air then it don't boots.
If the keyboard is connected directly to the Air USB port then it don't shows the Apple logo on grey background after power on, just give a endless loop of the turning on sound.
If the keyboard is connected to the Thunderbolt display then same empthy grey screen after power on and no sound at all.
The same keyboard and Thunderbolt display work well with my Macbook Pro Retina and a Macbook Air 2011.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
KarstenI like it very much. I use it on my iPad (and occasionally my iPhone). I'm kind of a keyboard snob actually. I tried the Apple wireless keyboard first. Apple keyboards have a short throw that hurts the tips of my fingers. They're very pretty but the on button turns on when I don't want it to and my iPad wakes up in my bag. Strike 1.
I went to a little keyboard called the Joy and it had a positive switch so I didn't have the wakeup problem. It worked well though after several months I wore it out and had to replace it with another one. I also didn't like how flat it sat and used rubber bumpers on the back. It too had a short throw that hurt my finger tips after a while but it was better than the Apple.
Then I discovered the Logitech bluetooth keyboard, the K811. This is a great keyboard. It switches between multiple targets with one press, it has a positive on/off switch, the keys light up, it's rechargeable and lasts a long time, and the slight cushioning on the keys keeps my fingers from hurting. I put the rubber bumpers on it though like the Joy because I like the keyboard to sit up a little. It's a tiny bit bigger than the other keyboards but I like it a lot, better than my MBA keyboard and better than my iMac wired keyboard. I'm trying out an after market keyboard on the iMac now but I'm thinking about switching to one of these for the iMac. -
I brought a macbook air 11 inch mid 2013 since i have updated mountain lion it shuts down automatically I have done SMC reset still I have the same issue... any suggestions??/
the thing is that when i did the clean install they did check with a hardware test first and nothing was wrong, i guess it was a false-positive, is there anything in the kernel report from which i can say it's either hardware or software related

My MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2013) Flash Drive replaced twice in one week?
My MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2013) crashed a week ago, and Apple repair replaced SSD. Last night, it crashed again. I'm taking it in to have the SSD replaced again! I saw Apple's Flash Drive Replacement Program for the earlier MBA's, so why haven't they fixed this problem?
Thanks for the quick reply...The battery may last three or so days with lots of sleep time and intermitant use...Here's the info you asked for:

macbook air runs hot and makes noise like processor running hard when connected to display - even when not actively using air book
You could use the free tool iStat Pro to see what changes when you connect your MBA to the display. Without doing anything the CPU pane should show a high percentage for "Idle". If the idle value is too low, launch the Activity Monitor and sort by CPU usage. There is a pane showing the different temperatures of your computer. Watch them for a few minutes after connecting the display.

Macbook Pro Retina 15" mid 2013 reboots after panic.
Just bought a mid 2013 Macbook Pro Retina last week. Haven't had any problems with it until today when I came back to my computer and there was a grey screen stating there had been a problem and the computer needed to be restarted. Below are the two system diagnostic reports. Is this a bug or a problem with the logic board/graphic switching?

com.apple.kec.corecrypto 1.0That kind of panic can be caused by an adapter for an external display that isn't connected to anything. See this thread.
There are also reports that the panic may be triggered by waking an external display from sleep. To test that theory, open the Energy Saver preference pane and click the lock icon to unlock the settings, if necessary. Move the Display sleep slider all the way to the Never position on the right. See whether there's any change. -
According to the article (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1237), the latest SMC version of MacBook Air should be 1.73f65 (SMC 1.6). However, I found the SMC version is 1.74f3, which should be MacBook Air (13-inch)'s.
Can someone tell me why?
Details of System Information:
Hardware Overview:
Model Name: MacBook Air
Model Identifier: MacBookAir4,1
Processor Name: Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 1.6 GHz

Boot ROM Version: MBA41.0077.B0F
SMC Version (system): 1.74f3 -
I can't find out what that problem is. Any advice? Any ideas even as to what it might be? I haven't heard about this happening elsewhere.

... but note your MacBook Air late 2010 can run Mountain Lion, so that would undoubtedly solve the problem for you, whether or not simply loading iTunes does. -
MacBook Pro 13-inch Mid 2010 using Mac OS X 10.8 Keyboard Issues.
Good day ASC,
I have a MacBook Pro 13-inch Mid 2010 upgraded to Mac OS X 10.8. It now has keyboard issues. Keys F4, 4, r, f, v, caps lock, space bar, and directional keys left and down do not work. I've been looking into the problem thinking it could be a software issue. Can anyone help?Welcome to Apple Support Communities

After installing them, I recommend you to look for a newer GPU driver
