TS5181 Help... Itunes Radio on Fast Forward

My itunes radio is fast forwarding through all songs and only playing ads on all the stations.  I have closed the app at tuned the device off/on without success.  It was working fine prior to downloading the saftey fix last night.  Any recommendations?

What country are you in ? It's currently only available in the US, if you are in the US then try tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and log out of it and then log back in, and/or try a soft-reset (i.e. a reboot) by pressing and holding both the home and sleep buttons for 10 to 15 seconds after which the Apple logo should appear

  • TS5181 My iTunes Radio doesn't show song name please help

My iTunes Radio doesn't show  song name what can I do

I suspect that the encoding of the Korean in the stream is not Unicode, which is what iTunes requires. iTunes cannot fix such things by itself.

  • TS5181 My iTunes Radio (My Stations) suddenly stops playing after 2-3 songs. Any ideas to fix?

Just installed iTunes 11.1.4.62 with Match feature on Windows 8.1 machine.  To my surprise, only a few songs wil play using My Stations under Radio feature.  Very disappointng.  After reviewing the discussion boards, it appeared that this issue seemed to be more prevalent several months ago. Is there a fix out there?  Or is this problem something you need to live with?   Any help / ideas?

The iTunes radio will play more songs from a more popular artist, with many albums and similar artists. For example, my Backstreet Boys station has not stopped yet, but my Jackie Evancho stations have stopped several times.
Try adding a popular artist station, and see if you get the same problem.
The solution for less popular stations, is sometimes to add another artist or song that you want to play on that station.
Let me know if any of this works for you!

  • TS5181 The iTunes Radio icon does not apear on the music app on my iPhone

After updating the software on the iPhone I still can't find the iTunes Radio icon on the music app

Go to the iTunes menu and select Preferences.  In the Preferences General tab, put a checkmark next to Radio (and whatever else you wish displayed).

  • TS5181 My itunes radio stops every 30 minutes. I have itunes match, so I no longer get commercials, but it still stops at exactly 30 minutes whether I interact with songs (selecting favorites) or not.

Why is my itunes radio on my updated iphone4s stopping every 30 minutes, whether I interact with station or not?

Talked to Apple, probelm is solved. With the latest update no limits in number of hours.
Tested it - and it works!

  • ITunes Playing Songs Fast-Forwarded

I have a new iMac running on Leopard and the most current iTunes 7.7.1. Recently my music has been playing fast which is very unusual. I've already tried rebooting and reinstalling. Any help would be great, thanks!

iTunes has a habit of doing this when you encode source files with high sample rates (i.e. 48,000 khz) to a standard sample rate of 44,100 kHz.

  • Fast Forward in iTunes

    Hello
I know that in iTunes, you can fast forward a music for 5 seconds by hiting Command-Option-right arrow.
What I want it to do this from any application, when iTunes is not the frontmost.
I tried the follwing script, but it doesn't work:
    tell application "System Events"
    tell process "iTunes"
    key code 124 using {command down, option down}
    end tell
    end tell
(key code 124 is right arrow)
    Any help? Thankls

    Hi Vicc
Why not try iTunes fast forward, resume, etc etc
tell application "iTunes" to fast forward
    delay 5
    tell application "iTunes" to resume
    --tell application "iTunes" to rewind
    --tell application "iTunes" to play
    --tell application "iTunes" to playpause
--tell application "iTunes" to next track

  • ITunes fast forwards when mouse is on song

I just got a MacBook Pro and use a wireless mouse(brand is Targus if that helps) which works fine for everything on it except when I roll over a song in iTunes while it's playing and it send itunes into a fast forward frenzy. It just moves and moves until I move the mouse and and then the songs play normally. I though it was a mouse issue but I think it's something with the iTunes after reading this forum.
Anyone know how to fix this or what's wrong? I really appreciate the help

  • Itunes Radio on Iphone 4s Stops Playing

Everytime I go into Itunes radio on my 4s it randomly stop playing. I would be in the middle of a song and it would stop, but when I hit the play button to continue the song there is no sound, sometimes I have to continuously hit the play button for it to play again. This was a problem before, but I rarely go into the radio section, so it didn't matter. However, I'm cleaning my house and I wanted the radio for a good variety of songs, but this problem has just been getting on my nerves. Please help.

iTunes radio is a feature being added as part of iOS 7.

  • Fast forward problem in iTunes 6.0.1.3

    Hello
I am using iTunes 6.0.1.3 on Windows XP Pro.
The situation is this. I have a song that is 7:30 long. When I play it normally it works just fine. However when I use the fast forward and advance to time mark 6:45 and start playing it is actually playing the part of the song that is at 6:00 (within a second or two), I let it go ahead and play and when it gets to 7:30 it just stops and jumps to the top of the menu tree (both it iTunes and on my ipod (40 gig 4g).
I have tried the fast forwarding in Music Match and Adobe Audition and it works just fine. I have tested the mp3 file with all the editors and players I have and it works great.
It appears there is some type of synch issue with fast forward and I don't really know where to start.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank You.

Well, I've noticed this problem at work (while using my work laptop on a network with other users -- some who have iTunes 5 and some iTunes 6) and at home (using a completely different laptop).
At first I thought it was a configuration problem on my work laptop, but now I'm thinking it has something to do with iTunes itself.
The weird thing is: People at work who use iTunes 5.0 can see the shared drives without a problem. Those with 6.0 cannot. So this problem is replicating itself in two completely different environments -- leading me to believe it's something in iTunes 6. Hmm....

  • How do I fast forward a track to a specific time with my iPod Touch in iTunes?

    Hello,
I have an iPod Touch and would like to find out how can I fast forward a track to a specific time in iTunes? There is only play/pause, ff & rewind, and volume buttons but no time clock to see where I am in the track. This is the case for podcast and music in iTunes Is there a seting that I need to change?
    Thanks for your help.

You can use a third-party program like those discussed here:

  • I am editing an idvd slideshow to have some of the music selections from itunes fade out at the end of each vacation segment using music reflecting the country visited.  Is there a way to fast-forward the slideshow to observe the where the music ends.

I am editing an idvd slideshjow to have some of the music selections fade out at the end of each vacation segment.  Is there a way I can fast-forward through the slideshow so I can see where the music is ending and adjust the time to end properly?  (without repeatedly clicking the forward button on the e-remote)

Thanks very much, varjak paw.  I checked half a dozen tracks on my iMac from different albums which did not copy over, plus several which did copy over.  They all show the same location:
Users/Christina/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music/Brandenburg Concertos etc. (one example)
What does this mean relative to the music which didn't copy? Is there another step?  or somewhere else I should look?
And wow, thanks for the info about not having legal right to keep the tracks from the CDs.  I am embarrassed that I didn't know.  I gave most of my CDs to my sister. Before I delete all this highly prized music (400-500 tracks) -- if I get the CDs back from her and keep them at my house, can I continue to keep those tracks on my iMac?  (Sister does not have iTunes or even know what an mp3 is, so it's not like she has copied or imported the CDs -- I just didn't realize I needed to retain possession.)
Or do I still need to remove all that music from my library?
Thank you again for your help.

  • ITunes 7.0.1 fast forwarding and skipping

I installed itunes 7.0.1 today, and ever since all my songs randomly skip and or fast forward through the entire song. The results seem random, sometimes one song will start slow, and randomly skip other times the same track will just play extremely fast through the whole song. I have never had this problem with any other version of itunes. I tried changing my quicktime audio to "safe - wav out" but that does not help.
I have a Pentium 4 with 2GB of DDR 3200 RAM and plently of system resources available. Has anybody else experienced this or know how to fix it, or is it just another 7.0.1 bug we have to wait out?
    Thanks!

well, at least it's not like the old days anymore man, when an SB Live actually did alot more than what an onboard soundcard can do for you. I myself am not a hardcore gamer or anything, just like to listen to my music when I'm on the PC. My surround sound, dolby, dts and all that jazz is on my home theatre. If I am just listening to my iTunes, I honestly don't notice a difference between onboard sound and my sb live, so heck worst case enable your onboard sound if you have it or play with some drivers, or get yourself a cheapo $20 sound card. With all the problems though, you'd think Apple must be working on an updated version. good luck

  • ITunes starts fast forwarding tracks after 1hours continuous play?

Hi I have recently updated windows XP on my computer to service pack three. After this update when I am listening to iTunes it suddenly started playing the songs in my library too quickly as if it was stuck on fast forward.
If you stop itunes playing then press play or select a different track it continues to play too fast. The only way to fix the problem is to close itunes and re-open it.
I have now found that this problem starts after iTunes has been playing music for just over an hour, so currently I'm having to close and re-open itunes ever hour to keep listening to music.
Any Idea why this might be happening?
I'm running XP SP3, 3GB ram, 3GHz processor, 200GB HD no where near full. Its iTunes version 8.2.1.6.
    Thanks
    Liam

Anyone else have this problem? I have now timed the problem to exactly 1hour 9minutes of continuous play, so if you play for 30 mins, pause for 15 then play iTunes starts fastforwarding 39 minutes later.
