TS5185 iOS 8.1.1: severe cellular problems - no service now commonplace since update. When will this be sorted??

Since updating to iOS 8.1.1, it is almost impossible to send or receive texts or calls: texts can take hours or even days to be received, if at all, and people cannot call me. When I try to make a call, I have to wait hours for service then, once in a call, the signal usually holds, but "call failed" is commonplace. My 2 Nokia phones work perfectly. So it's obviously the iPhone. When will Apple get their act together?

IOS 5.1 - Photo Quality STILL broken! When will this be FIXED?

The update to iOS 5 broke something with ISO capability of the iPhone 4 camera. Flash pictures are fine, with proper ISO (check here if you don't know what ISO is http://www.photoxels.com/tutorial_iso.html
Low light and non-flash pictures have the wrong ISO since iOS 5 and have LOTS of grain and noise. This has rendered the camera in the iPhone 4 useless since the update from iOS 4. With iOS 4, my pictures had brilliant quality. This was a BIG reason why I purchased this phone in the first place. If you haven't noticed the difference, users who have had the phone since before the update can look at the difference in their pictures since. Massive difference.
Many have suggest that restoring the device from new (after a backup) can fix this. It doesn't work. At least, not for the iPhone 4. Don't bother. I check regularly for an iOS update, and after seeing one today for iOS 5.1, I was really hoping this issue would be addressed. It wasn't.
I can't imagine this hasn't been noticed by Apple, but the lack of updates and some sort of status to their customers is incredibly irritating. When will this be fixed?

If you genuinely were just looking for other users help to fix a problem, and weren't expecting Apple to read or respond you wouldn't have titleled this thread as you did. It is YOU who are trolling by deliberately posting inflamatory and misleading statements.
The probolem is clearly in YOUR DEVICE. Maybe there is a a hardware issue. However, the other 99.999+% don't have the issue - and we're not bilind, oblivious idiots either.

Previous blog posts elsewhere indicated this would be fixed in the latest rev of iOS, OSX and iTunes.
But alas after the recent update it's not. Really Annoying.

Then you won't be syncing your notes anymore.
Contacts and Calendars are the only things they restored.

If your phone was NEVER jailbroken or hacked to unlock, try these steps as needed:
1. Reset phone (no data loss): Press both home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears.
2. Restore phone in iTunes using a backup (no data loss)
3. Restore phone in iTunes as new, without using a backup.

Problems with my Time Capsule since updated to Mountain Lion

Since I have updated my MacBook Air (late 2010 model) to OS X Mountain Lion, I am experiencing problems connecting my Macbook Air to Time Capsule and experiencing problems in Time Machine copies to the Time Capsule:
1.- When I turn on my computer, Time Machine starts working, taking a lot of time searching the backup disc (my Time Capsule), then appears an error message (Can not find the disk or it says that the Time Capsule is already in use);
2.- After several attemps (restarting the computer and restarting the Time Capsule), sometimes Time Machine starts to work, but it shows that it has to copy approximatly 28 G. Also the copy is to slow (it only copied 500 Megabytes in two days).
In the meanwhile the Time Capsule light is turned on (green) - so it seems the Time Capsule is working normally an the problem would be Time Machine.
I would not like to restart everytime my Time Capsule or restart my computer in order to make Time Machine works. I would really appreciate help for solving this problem (I apologize for my so basic English).
My Airport Utility Version is 6.1 (610.31)
My Time Capsule Version: 7.6.1.
My Computer: MacBook Air (late 2010)
My System: OS X Mountain Lion (when I used OS X Lion all was working normal)

The first backup after an update will be quite slow (but shouldn't be anywhere near that slow). And the searching on the backup disk will have to be repeated on every backup attempt until one completes normally.
Connect to the TC via an Ethernet cable.
Also see the green box in #D2 of Time Machine - Troubleshooting. Something there may help get back on track.
(and your English is fine -- better than many who speak it natively, I'm sorry to say.)

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

TV Out won't work on iPhone 4 since iOS 5 update. When will this be fixed. I tried to use an Apple AV cable and an after market cable as well.

Is there a solution on the way or some way I can fix the problem myself?

If I am correct, the AV cables are for your "video" and "photos" app only. In other words, you can only view your photos and videos stored on your iphone hard drive. If you would like to stream or watch videos on your TV, you would need the HDMI adapter.
In my opionion it is best (I know it does not fit all though) to get an Apple TV. They retail for $99.99 and work great with IOS 5 airplay mirror mode. So not only can you view everything on your iphone to your TV, but its all wireless as well.

This is the second time I have been unable to open Firefox after an update. On both occassions nothing is displayed (no splash screen, nor errors). A firefox.exe task is then shown in Task Manager.

IOS 7 : when will this version more "stable"

I did the mistake to install the new IOS7 and I'm very disapointed.
The system is very slow, a lot of deconexion from the wifi, the white color is "everywhere" on the screen, no research in this design... Very disapointed from Apple on this one.

When I'm on a website and I'm reading something, I see the text "under the toolbar of favorites" ... Is it normal ? If so, it's awful and not practical.
When I'm reading something or displaying my screen upwards, the taskbar on the bottom (to activate the bluetooth, use the system audio,...) always appears and it's very ****.
I want the previous version back !! Or a more stable IOS7 and it's very urgent !

Airport problem-cannot connect to internet since update

I like many folks here is new to a Mac. I have a iMac intel duel processor. i apparently did this update to 10/4/8 10/2/06. Since then airport does not work and I cannot connect to internet at all. I have talked to Apple customer service but so far no help there. They want me to reinstall disc that came with computer. I also have a new MacBook that has update also. I can set it beside the iMac in my office and it works great. We have a wirelss system in our home and a PC and the MacBook still connect with no problem. Settings on iMac and MacBook look identical to what I can tell. Nothing I try to connect works, rebooting, change some setting. Can anyone offer easy to follow suggestions to a new Mac user. Thanks

Since it's only the iMac that's having the issue connecting using WPA, we don't need to troubleshoot the router or the other computers.
I suggest trying the following on the iMac before attempting to reload the previous version of the OS.
If you use "Preferred Networks," instead of "Automatic" for your "By default, join" setting Location, try the following:
System Preferences > Network > Show > AirPort > AirPort tab
- Delete all preferred networks with encryption
- Add them again after manually connecting
(Note: It will be faster if you turn on "Automatically add new networks to preferred networks list" under "Options" of the AirPort network connection.)
If this doesn't work, something might have gone wrong with the update to 10.4.8. I would suggest that you follow the Apple Tech's recommendation and reinstall the previous OS using the installation disk that came with your iMac.

Problems with apps and photos since updated new iTunes

I updated itunes and instaleed it on both my computer and my iphone. Since then, I cannot purchase apps, update them or sync them with my mac. My id and password are ok, but the apps are stuck in mid process and I cannot use them. If that wasn't enough, the iphone shows that all my photos are gone although itune shows 11.5 gb of "other" and I can't sync photos from iphoto to iphone. ideas anyone?

Do not install MacKeeper.
Back up your Mac if you have not already done so. To learn how to use Time Machine read Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac - Apple Support.
Determine if the same problems also occur in "Safe Mode":
Safe Mode or "Safe Boot" is a troubleshooting mode that bypasses all third party system extensions and loads only required system components. Read about it: Starting up in Safe Mode
You must disable FileVault before you can start your Mac in Safe Mode.
Starting your Mac in Safe Mode will take longer than usual, graphics will not render smoothly, audio is disabled on some Macs, and some programs (iTunes for example) may not work at all.
Merely starting your Mac in Safe Mode is not intended to resolve the problem, it's to observe its performance without certain additional components.
To end Safe Mode restart your Mac normally. Shutdown will take longer as well.
