TS5376 Trying to update iTunes to 11.1.4 for Windows has still failed after following detailed directions
I followed the directions provided by Apple personnel to help resolve this issue: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376.
The resulting errors include;
Runtime Error! Program C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunes.exe
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the applciations's support team for more informaiton.
That was followed by: the iTunes warning:
Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) Failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
That was followed by the Runtime Error message two more times.
Followed by iTunes was not installed correcdtly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 1114).
NOTE: before this load attempt I
Made sure I had Administrator rights
Fully removed iTunes
Manually removed any lingering iTunes files as per the instructions
Right mouse clicked on the downloaded exe to make sure I was Administrator.
Nothing seems to work. It was FINE until this new "upgrade". Any suggestions

Tried to update ITunes, but keep getting error: Service "Apple Mobile Device failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
So how do I get my ITunes back?Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

ANYBODY ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR MY ABOVE PROBLEM
Hi,
Are you trying to use the Help -> Updates method?
Both those patches need to be manually applied to PSE 9.

Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.

I am trying to update ITunes from 10.4 to 10.5 I have tried from both the program, and from a download on Apple's website. Regardless, I get the following error messages: (1) Installation package for iTunes cannot be found. Try installing to find the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install iTunes. I can't find this folder. I have tried to completely unistall iTunes through the Control Panel, but it wouldn't let me: I tried going directly to the files themselves, but cannot uninstall. Any help would be greatly appreciated. System OS: Win XP SP 3.
Set the permissions for Everyone in the folder in which CCPackager created, to "Read/Write" enabled. This is strange since there is only an administrator account on the Mac (and that account already has read/write), but it seems to resolve the issue.

Hi, I am trying to get help with an update install of iTunes. When I opened iTunes the other day, it told me there was an update to version 10.6.1. When I tried to install this version I received the following message " The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. I tried to uninstall iTunes, and it would not uninstall. It gave me the following message " The path C:\documents and settings\network service\local settings\application data\apple\apple software update\iTunes.msi cannot be found. I tried running Windows fixit, but this did not solve the problem. Can anyone tell me how to finish uninstalling the old iTunes file, so I can reinstall the newest version? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm in the same boat.
Tried uploading to iOS7 on my laptop. It looked like it was working, but then said I needed to restore my phone. I did. Now I have a phone that won't turn on, won't "activate".
So I switch to my desktop, just to get my phone turned on again and working. Try to install iTunes 11.1 and get this message:
The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1102.)(102)
