TS5376 version 11.1.4 R6034 error - followed instructions, still broke

Version 11.1.4 R6034 error - followed instructions, still broke
What do I do after un-installing, rebooting, deleting DLLs, and re-installing 3 times and I still get the same error?
Instructions say to uninstall all related iTunes/apple products. Why do the instructions not provide a list of related products?
Does related products mean Bonjour too?  QTMovies.dll looks like "Quick time"  should I un-install that too?
Maybe apple could test their code before asking everyone to upgrade to the latest version.
Maybe the code that does the install could check for prerequsits before trashing a working version of itunes.

Follow the instructions in this user tip. You may need to run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

  • 8003 error, followed instructions, can't re-download???

I purchased an album a few days ago, and just now noticed that most of the songs failed on download. I got the old 8003 / stopped error. Looking around, I found this "solution":
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297
Unfortunately, once I deleted the "downloads" folder, I went back into iTunes and now it says "all items have been downloaded".
I can't find any way to redo the download for the missing songs.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entries, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

  • I attempted to install the new version of itunes and I keep getting a R6034 error

I attempted to install the new version of Itunes and I keep getting a R6034 error.  What do I do?

    Hi davemac123,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I recommend removing and reinstalling iTunes using these steps:
    Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
    Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
    Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
    Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

I am unable to update latest version of Itune, I get error R6034 C runtime library incorrect. My windows are up to date and I have been able to access itune until today and now I don't have it.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:

  • Tried to install new version of itunes and getting r6034 error code

This morning I tried to download and install iTunes Version 11.1.4.  I'm getting a R6034 error code RUNTIME ERROR when I go to the "install" phase.  I've already de-installed my old version so I know I've not got any files kicking around.  I even went as far as purchsing PC CLEANER PRO to try to fix the R6034 error code and it's not solving it.  I have the new version sitting in download mode but I'm not able to install it. I get part way through the install and the error code window pops up again.  Any suggestions?

The third party cleaner may have been a bad move... It might make the following harder.

When trying to download the latest version of iTunes, I receive the following error "Apple Application Support was not found", any suggestions?

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component, such as Apple Application Support, won't install normally.

  • TS5376 R6034 Error / Solution / Continuing Problem

A short time back I accepted to receive the update to iTunes on my PC. Right after receiving it, I get the R6034 error.  I've gone through all of the recommended steps to resolve the problem, to no avail.Very dissapointing. Now I can't trust AAPL. Any ideas?  At this point I've had to uninstall iTunes to stop the poppup stating the R6034 Error, so no longer able to have iTunes on my PC.  Yes, I have Apple machines and devices as well.  Strangely enough, I was just forced to go thru a long and drawnout process of changing my Apple ID, which I've had for 15+ years plus changing my PW (ok, I can get past this one) But no iTunes on my PC?  Very dissappointing.  Really odd: Trying to send this message I'm having to select the product(s) that are tied to my ID -- It only allows one product and for this purpose I thought it best that I put in iTunes, and it isn't available as a selection -- It has to be ME -- what the heck am I missing here?  HELP

  • Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library R6034 error  with CS6

When I start up the 64bit version of Photoshop CS6 I get the R6034 error.  After about 20 times to delete the error message 64bit CS5 starts.  This does not happen with the 32 bit version. How do I fix this?

    Thanks for following up.
There were no error messages that I saw during the installation process.
The error message comes up when I start the 64 bit CS6 Photoshop the "CS6
logo" starts, but then freezes when the R6034 error windows start. Each
error wiindow closes with a click, but then another one opens. This goes on
for 18 to 20 windows, Then CS6 opens and seems to work fine, including all
the plug-ins from Nik, OnOne, etc.
My Dell desktop system is Win 7 Ultimate, Service Pack 1, 12gb ram and 64
bit OS.  The exact same issue occurs on my Dell laptop with is also Win 7
Ultimate, Service Pack 1, 16gb and 64 bit Operating System.
The 32 bit CS6 Photoshop opens with no errors on either PC.
I re-installed the laptop from the Set-up.exe. The were no errors during
the re-install but the same problems occurred after the re-install.  The
same R6034 errors occurred, but the CS6 went ahead and started with all the
the plugins and actions remained without any additional steps.
The CS6 64 bit seems to be functional, (whew) but it is a pain to go
through all the error windows. I don't know what if there is anything that
won't work because of the C++ Runtime Library difficulty.

Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates

  • After updating to latest version of itunes i get error -3212 when trying to connect to itunes store, says not connected to internet.  But internet status is ok and can use browser

just updated to the latest version of itunes for windows.  i can't stream any of my radio stations and when i try to connect to the itunes store i get an error -3212 message saying i'm not connect to the internet, yet my browser works and my wireless status is ok.

I also had this issue when one day itunes stopped working for me on windows 8...
the error message I received first was: C:Programme files\common files\Apple\Apple Push service.dll is either not designed to run on windows or contains an error.
followed by: ITunes not installed Error 7 (Windows error 193)
Your response addressed how to fix this issue with earlier windows operating systems, but not for windows 8, so what ended up working for me was your advice applied a little differently. For anyone running windows 8 needing to know how to resolve this issue by repairing the Apple Application Support program, try following these simple steps - what a relief it was to have itunes working again after applying b noir's answer to the windows 8 operating system!
    1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Control Panel.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, click Settings, and then click Control Panel.)
    2. Click the Programs and Features icon.
    3. In the list of programs and features, find the Apple Application Support feature and click to select it.
    4.  In the gray title bar above it, click Repair.
    5. Approve the window prompts that follow until the repair has been completed.
    6. Relaunch iTunes.
Hope this helps & good luck!
