TuneIn Radio broken on Safari 7

Since upgrading to Mavericks and Safari 7.0, I can no longer play any audio/radio station streams on TuneIn Radio (tune in.com).
I get a "sorry, an error occurred" prompt and then a text box saying No Playable Streams Were Found.
I have disabled most Safari Extensions and PlugIns with no change. I do,however, have the latest versions of Flip4Mac and Silverlight plugins installed, per the requirements at TuneIn.com. Content from this site worked OK on previous Safari versions and OS, and also still OK on iOS devices.
Email to TuneIn support has been useless. A reply to my first email asked me to tell them exactly the same information I provided in the initial email, and no further followup from them. Any suggestions?

"Allow Plug-Ins" was selected in Safari Prefs.
I tried this site in Google Chrome and, unlike Safari, it clearly informed me onscreen that my Silverlight Plug-In was not up-to- date. I had checked for this but obviously hadn't correctly found that bit of information.
Went to the Dark Side's site and got the updater.
TuneIn now working OK on Safari and Chrome.

How to control what VoiceOver says when clicking a radio button in Safari?

Hello-
I am developing a web page that I want to work in Safari & VoiceOver. Does anyone know how I can:
1) control what VO says when it is hovering over a radio button (ideally some alt text or title attribute)
2) control what VO says when I click a radio button in Safari (right now, it seems to say 'Group').
I have tried to put the radio buttons in a fieldset, tried tons of attributes in the input tag (including alt, title, desc, description), but nothing seems to change.

Turn on VoiceOver (try Cmd+F5), pull up the URL and hover over the 'letter' or 'large envelope' radio buttons, then click one of them. It says 'group'. I'd like it to say 'letter option selected' or something.

PS: I do know about the <label> tag. I've tried surrounding my <input> tag with a label and using <label for="someID">, but it doesn't seem to help.

Thank you for the suggestion...it does work and fires the event, but it is still not selecting the current record when I try to perform an Update or Delete.
I had to modify your code a bit in order for it work in JDev 10...used the JUCtrlValueBindingRef instead of the FacesCtrlHierNodeBinding.

Using Tunein Radio app, while using it, radio stations start repeating/skipping

Using Tunein Radio app, while using it, the broadcast starts repeating the same sentence over and over again. It doesn't matter what radio station I'm listening to it starts skipping. Can it be caused by the wireless internet connection I'm using?

Once you are listening to a program it should bring up another window showing you the radio station, show info, etc. In the upper right hand corner there will be 4 icons, a heart with a plus symbol, an envelope, a target looking icon with a triangle in it, and a triangle with an exclamation point in it. You want the third one, the target with the triangle in it.
This is an iPad right? The icons look different if you are using an iPhone or iPod.

TS4085 iPad 2 mirroring audio streaming issues - TuneIn radio

I have an iPad 2 with Apple TV. Both are up to date. I am streaming TuneIn Radio audio over AirPlay (mirroring) through Apple TV to home stereo receiver, via Toslink optical audio cable. When I am using other iPad apps, the signal breaks up. (I do not have this problem when streaming from iPad 2 via bluetooth to wireless speakers.) What is the fix?

Album cover art is not showing on apple tv from Tunein app on Ipad.
Cover art is on ipad while streaming radio van Tunein.
Music is playable through apple tv.
Unfortunately the album cover art dos not appear on TV.
Any ideas?

Tunein radio app unable to do bluetooth streaming

I installed the free tunein radio app from the app store and it works fine on its own. However, when I attempted to stream to a set of BT speakers the app goes silent. There is not a problem with the hardware as the Touchpad can stream other contents to the same set of speakers.
So I emailed tunein support and got a quite unsatisfactory response. Their response was that they are not responsible for "third-party" issues. I don't know what they meant by that, since it was their app developed specifically for the TouchPad, and I would think they would make sure that it works with the capability of that device.
I am a user of the paid tunein app under iOS and I do like the app but not able to stream BT is unfortunate.
Anyone have similar problems?

Unfortunately, I have no way to replicate this since I don't have any BT Speakers/Headphones.

Tunein radio app

I would like to ask about this Tunein Radio app. I want to listen to different radio all around the world. How can i see if my choice of country with their radio stations are able to listen to from my iphone. Also by doing so does it using a lot of internet data usage because i only got 1GB per month to use on my plan?? Ta

There is check your station now search box. The app gives you a choice of streaming size. The smaller the size like 32 vs 64 would use less data, but at the cost of music not sounding as good.

The Tunein Radio app is available for many BB phone but not available for the tablet, is their any way to added for the Playbook.

The only place to potentially get the app is the App Store. As it's a free app try downloading the current version of it on your computer's iTunes so that it's in your account's purchase history, and then on your iPod see if you can download a compatible version via the Purchased tab its App Store app (whether you can download a previous compatible version depends upon whether the app's developer allows it)

TuneIn Radio won't connect to my radio stations at my gym

Once again I'm asking about a Tunein Radio issue: I still can't get it to connect to my radio stations at my gym. It works just fine on my home WIFI, and Pandora Radio works just fine at the gym, but not Tunein! To add insult to injury, when I start Tunein it connects and plays the ad, then will not connect after that! Suggestions anyone? Sure would like it if I could use Tunein at the gym so that I can listen to my favorite local stations.

I guess I'll have to do that. Talked to them 3 months ago when I initially lost Tunein, but replaced it with Pandora and was happy with just that until lately. Guess I was hoping it was an IPOD setting or something that I could fix myself. Thanks IIIaass.

TuneIn Radio Problems

I had BT Infinity installed yesterday after being with Sky for ages and am already regretting it.
After a couple of issues, followed by a call to Customer 'Service', I now find that TuneIn Radio, which I use all the time, is constantly buffering. I record radio shows using this programme on my iPad and iPhone every now and again and it just took half an hour to record 6 minutes of radio. I never had this problem with Sky and now have my iPhone connected to 3G and it's downloading perfectly.
Anyone got any ideas? I know that BT slow speeds for things such as P2P stuff, although I never knew that torrents would be soooo slow during 'peak hours'. When I want to download something, I want it there and then. When I signed up with BT, I said I used a lot of torrents and was never told they'd be so ridiculously slow! I know there's this 'fair usage' cobblers, but nowhere does it say how much the speed would be reduced by.
BT, 24 hours in, have been nothing but a disappointment.

Good isp's don't do any throttling, Be* being one of em, just wish I could have stayed with them to get fibre but alas they don't offer any fttc product.
Anyway, it looks like the OP's issue isn't being caused by p2p throttling as that app is working ok on my android phone, no buffering problems. I myself would be very annoyed if bt's p2p throttling were affecting this app, it's one thing to limit torrent speed duing peak times but to just do a blanket throttle on the p2p protocol in general, where apps like this could be affected, well that aint on! BT should target torrent specifically, not just anything that may use the p2p protocol to transmit data.

CS6 fillable PDFs - radio/checkboxes broken in Safari/Chrome

I love the new form tools for INDD cs6 but when I output the final PDF, I'm having trouble w/ radio buttons and checkboxes. They appear as always checked when PDF is viewed through Safari or Chrome (Webkit) browsers. Help, anyone?

You posted this in another forum and I responded. Both Safari and Chrome have their own buggy and incomplete PDF viewers that don't support the full PDF imaging model (including forms). Chrome can be configured to use Adobe Reader or Acrobat if installed. I don't know about Safari.

Textutil broken after Safari 3 update?

I have some scripts that use textutil to convert html files to rtfs. I tried one today & it didn't work -- tried running textutil filename.html -convert rtf from the command line, and after an unusually long wait I eventually got the message "Error reading filename.html"
I can't remember the last time I used these scripts but it's been a few weeks, so I'm thinking the culprit is Safari 3 / webkit....
Has anyone else seen this problem / got an idea for a fix?

Seems that you're right. I tested this by first trying out textutil before installing Safari 3, and then afterwards. No go. Hmm... what was the address for the bug tracking system? Seems like a serious bug to me. It seems that reading HTML files is broken since I can still convert files to HTML.

Costco QuickUpload tool broken with Safari 3

Hi, ever since Safari 3 was installed, the Costco QuickUpload tool to send pictures to Costco for printing is broken. Pictures can be selected, but when Upload is clicked, nothing happens forever. Pictures have to be slow uploaded, selected one at a time, 12 in a group. Anybody find a fix for this? Anybody else having this problem?

Costco came out with a new plug-in. This works with Safari 3.

Unable to listen to Launchcast Radio on my Safari browser

I am unable to use the LaunchCast Radio feature from my ISP, BTYahoo, in Safari as it seems the browser is not compatible. I fing this amazing as Apple and Yahoo seem to go hand-in-hand outside the UK. Have other UK Apple users experienced the same problem? Any ideas?

Yahoo and Apple's relationship is akin to "apples and oranges" - little in common. Since Safari's inception, Yahoo features have been deficient and/or poorly coded when it comes to the Safari browser. By contrast, Apple's new evolving partner in this rapidly changing reality is Google (no great friend of Yahoo's).
Relative to your question, you might have better success with another browser. Here's a list -
