Tungsten E2 doesn't sync!

Ok, here's my story. I lost my e2 for about 4 months, and I found it the other day when I was sorting through some of my college dorm junk storage boxes(dont ask how I managed to lose it because I honestly coldn't tell you). I went to sync it and it wont sync. Everytime I try to sync I get this message "The connection between your device and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."
i've done just about everything (and yes, the hotsync manager is on): soft reset, trying all the usb ports I have, unpluging the connector and pluging it back in multiple times, uninstalling and reinstalling the software, and cleaning the connections. I've also tried to check to see if they are communicating properly (which I dont believe they are) but I dont see anything hotsynch in the device manager and there is nothing with !. Does anyone have an ideas? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

On the PC, right click the hotsync icon in the system tray. Is local USB checked?
If not then you'll need to reinstall the software, deleting the Palm or Palmone folder under Program Files after uninstalling. This WILL delete all you data on the PC!! (Back up the folder to another location first.)

The error message you're seeing is likely the other way around -- i.e. something like "This iPhone has previously been synced with a different computer". There's no problem syncing multiple iOS devices to the same computer.
However, the reverse is not true for the iPhone -- you cannot connect an iPhone to another computer without it being erased, even if you manually manage music and video. So, it sounds like you've been syncing your iPhone to a different computer?
Also, 5.1 (not 5.0.1) is the latest iOS.

Purchased app doesn't sync to iPad

Purchased app shows downloaded on by pc but it doesn't sync to my iPad and although it indicated it's compatible with iPad, in iTunes it only shows up in iPod purchases downloaded, not in iPad purchases. I found that at the time I purchased it I didn't have enough storage on my iPad for it so freed up plenty of storage and deleted the app and "repurchased" as instructed in iTunes troubleshooting. It again showed it downloaded but still only as an iPhone app and didn't sync to iPad.

got a new iphone 5s and my itunes doesn't sync with it. can't draw songs over to phone. i bought some songs from itunes and don't show up in mu library.. lm getting tired of apple it was never this hard to sync songs.. have same id on both phone and mac.. don't know what to do plz help anybody.. starting to get disappointed on apple

You cannot update iTunes on an iPad. The lastest version of iTunes on the iPad is updated when you update it's iOS
You can update iTunes to the latest version 11.1.2 on your Mac if it supports the following:
Macintosh System Requirements
Mac computer with an Intel Core processor
OS X version 10.6.8 or later
400MB of available disk space
Broadband Internet connection to use the iTunes Store

"About iTunes" says I have v7.3 (54). I'm pretty sure that's the latest version. It includes a tab in Preferences for "iPhone." My phone just doesn't show up.

I have an iPod Classic, the 2nd most recent version. I havn't had problems with it until a week ago. - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

No, the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app, it doesn't support copying content off the iPad. For your second camera instead of the SD reader part of the kit, does the iPad to camera cable not work with it for direct transfer to the iPad ?
For Lightroom and Nikon software again no - you can only install apps that are available in the iTunes app store on your computer and the App Store app on the iPad, 'normal' PC and Mac (OS X) software are not compatible with the iPad (iOS). There are some apps that perform fairly basic editing functions that are available in the store, but nothing as sophisticated as, for example, Lightroom.

Hi, please please help me if you can. I was working all the summer and I've bought iPod nano for my money and... Firt it worked well and everything was going well but.. From Friday I cannot sync my iPod with library. I tried restore it, but it didn't help at all. Actually, the problem is, that if I download some file from internet and then I want to put it into my iPod, I can't. It doesn't sync it, without any error messege (it doesn't show any error messege). It syncs unly "official" CD's. Ok, so, basically... You have to have songs in your PC when you are syncing. Never ever upload the song to iTunes and then delete it because f*ing iTunes will not sync it to your iPod. That's it.

I added some new music to my itunes library and tried to sync it with my ipod touch but the song don't appear in my ipod touch. With my ipod shuffle it works perfectly but with the ipod touch it just doesn't sync and the songs aren't in my ipod. They are in the itunes library but they aren't in the ipod. After iOS6 update, iPhone 4 doesn't sync calendar with iTunes

I have an iPhone 4. After update to iOS6 the sync of my calendar has a strange behavior! It doesn't sync anymore. When I enter a calendar entry on iPhone, it's not synchronized with the macbook Calendar.
I changed calendar dates on my macbook - it won't appear on my iPhone4.
I badly missed some dates, till I found that the Calendar doesn't sync.
I also set in iTunes the marked, that on next sync the calendar should be replaced - but even then the new entries doesn't appear. Completely strange is, that if I delete the calendar on my iPhone and resync by iTunes, I get the calendar back, but the new or changes entries don't appear.
What can I do, instead of waiting to get my new iPhone5?

There is still no sync of the calender from iPhone to MacBookPro and no sync of calendar entries from the MacBookPro to iPhone.
I am helpless. I tried to replace the calendar - it syncs, but the edited entries do not appear - they were sync with the old entries. Where the **** do they come from?
