Iphone 5 battery drains rapidly, I have turned off apps and location even purchased a new battery, is anyone else having this problem? If anyone knows how to fix please let me know. I've tried the hard reset and nothing works.

There was a run of bad batteries for the iPhone 5. Apple will replace them if your phone qualifies and you haven't tried to fix it yourself. See: iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program - Apple Support. Unfortunately, you may have disqualified yourself if you tried to repair it yourself.
However, rapid battery drain is only rarely caused by a bad battery. A bad battery is usually diagnosed by a battery percentage that jumps randomly. See this for advice: http://www.overthought.org/blog/2014/the-ultimate-guide-to-solving-ios-battery-d rain

  • I can't turn in-app purchases on for my iPad!

For reasons unclear, in-app purchases are turned off on my iPad, and I can't get them back on. I have never knowingly turned them off, nor enabled restrictions up till now. Once I discovered they were turned off, I tried enabling restrictions to see if I could then turn in-app purchases back on, but while all the other options became active, in-app purchases was grayed-out, and I can't toggle it back to allowing the purchases.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

AFAIK...  In-App purchases require a Credit Card associated to your account.

They changed it a bit, but you can still close apps. Double click the Home button to pull up the currently running apps. Side scroll over to the app you want to close, then swipe up on the app *window* (not the icon at the bottom).

Very few apps run in the background.  Those that do should have a  way to stop them from within the app.

    Correct:
    Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

My iPad is low on memory and it says to turn off apps running in background . How do I do that

    Hello Skittles1202
It sounds like more of the storage of your iPad is full. Plug it into your computer and check in iTunes or on your iPad go to Settings > General > Usage and it will sort out in order of what is taking up the most space. Once you figure that out you can either delete what is not needed or import any photos that you may have to your computer. If you want to close out any application that you may have open previously, then double tap the home button and then swipe up on any app that you want to close
