Turn off list view error messages

HI,
I have a custom default view in a list. Sometimes it shows "Unable to display view..." error message when loading the view, but the view can be shown by refreshing the page. My question is, is there any way to turn off the error message? I want
to hide this message from users.

what is the exact error message?
how long does it take before it prompts the error message? Initial hit may be taking longer and times out. Next refresh does the trick as information gets rendered from the cache.
ensure the list has total number of items within the "Threshold Limit" set on the Web Application in Central Admin

  • Turning off the structure errors in JDeveloper 10.1.3.2

Is there a way to turn off the structure errors in for .jsp pages in JDeveloper 10.1.3.2.
Many of the pages show "Element blah not expected" or "attribute missing"
The app I'm working on has lots of old code from a range of developers and I really don't need to see the errors of their/my ways if they are truly no show stoppers.
In the previous version this was not nearly as prevalent and it displays in 10.1.3.2.
    Thanks,
    LP

    Hi,
actually previous versions didn't have error margins at all. There is no preference setting I am aware of to switch the error messages off

This is a user to user forum.  Apple isn't here and won't answer you.  You need to contact Apple directly.  You can use the Contact button at the bottom of the screen.

  • How do I permanently turn off fullscreen view in safari?

How do I permanently turn off fullscreen view in Safari?  I never want my menubar to autohide and it has been doing so since the last update.  Once I click on the little blue arrows at the top right of the screen, it is temporarily fixed but then resets to fullscreen when I re-open Safari.

Thaty is quite odd behavior as I have never seen that happen
in any Safari version since full screen was added to OSX.
It almost sounds as if the preference file for Safari may be
corrupted or some other setting file.  However, before messing
with that, export your bookmarks (File->Export Bookmarks...)
so you can retrieve them and under the Safari menu, select reset
Safari.  If this doesn't resolve things, and since you saved your
bookmarks, in Finder hold down Option key and on the Go menu
select library.  In the Preferences folder, find:
    com.apple.Safari.plist
and move it to Desktop or trash it.  Next time Safari opens it
will recreate the file and see if this fixes the issue.

  • When I open my image, it is covered with tiny coloured dots.  how do I turn off this view?

when I open my image, it is covered with tiny coloured dots.  how do I turn off this view? i've used photoshop for years and never encountered this.  i looked at the histogram for some means of turning it off, but no luck.  help

The issue I think is connected to the colour profile, and the 8,16, or 32 bit image mode option.  In the past, my images have come from lightroom as 16 bit files and I've never had any issues.  I guess I'm not very adept at the file handling aspect of this program.  I shoot in RAW and like to play around with my photos, then print them.  I was under the impression I should be using the srgb colour selection not RGB, but then I've read I should change it to RBG once I'm ready to save the file to print.  I also changed my files over the 8 bit from 16 once I saved the after using photoshop.

Hi , and a warm welcome to the forums!
Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
    If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
And sorry to report that OSX is more Widows like than ever, but….
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.

  • How can I turn off document.write error in PTWC 2.0?

Hi everyone. I have an application that (unfortunately) avoids processing on the server and instead pushes a lot of JavaScript w/ document.write statements to the portal. Also, the code can't be changed so that it does server-side processing. I understand that document.write calls in JavaScript may not appear on the first load, that said...
Does anyone out there know how to turn off the document.write error message that appears when a portlet uses PTWC 2.0?
    -Greg

Apologies, I could have been clearer. Somehow, someone has managed to enable a template for one of the document libraries. When I click 'New' in the document library it opens a template Word document with writing on it already. I want to turn this off so
that when I click 'New' I am give the default option to open a new Word Excel PowerPoint or OneNote document.
I checked in advanced settings for the particular library and have tried turning off Allow management of content types but this does not change anything.

    Hi Tomas,
Two DHCP Servers = Bad Networking
That Model does not get listed on the UK Site http://www.thomson-broadband.co.uk/codepages/content3.asp?c=7
The DHCP server should be Off in the Speedtouch and the Netgear should be asking for a Specific (Static IP) from the Speedtouch
This means you will need the DNS servers from the ISP.
Hopefully you have firmware that gives you a screen like this
Also go here http://flickr.com/photos/90943061@N00/97303888/in/photostream/ Click the far right pic of the two on the right to move them through those tabs opened up and the UPnP setting it should also be doing.
You will see I had a 500 series and that it was at firmware 4.2.5
The Netgear I have has the settings for how it connects to the previous device in the Basic Setting menu item. It lists os has a place to list the DNS svers here as well.
