Turn off log level for Individual Users

Hi,
we want to turn off logging level of individual users. We usually go to Identity and click on the user to set log level '0' but we have LDAP security setup so don't have idea how to do it.
Any Ideas

Ok I will try to Set System Variable LOGLEVEL
As we are using LDAP security we will not have users in RPD so i cant set to'0' in rpd.
New Question: Suppose If I am able to set log level to '0' for a user i.e User1 and when he logs into OBIEE and get's a error  while running report like say table or view doesn't exist or non of fact table is compatible or number records exceed etc... and Error will show to user as Error Number and says "Please contact System Administrator for more details".
Me considering as Admin if i want to debug that error that User1 is getting from above scenario  and when i open nqquery log file will I be able to see the log for that report which User1 is getting error or will it show NO LOGLEVEL Found.

  • Turn Off Touch Mode for all users

    Hello-
    I have a terminal services environment and i need to turn off touch mode in Acrobat Reader XI for all users. How can I accomplish this?
    TIA

    Thanks!
    For anyone else looking for this solution:
    Install Acrobat on your computer. Open the preferences, general tab and set touch wizard to your desired setting (for me it was never).
    Install the Adobe customization wizard(Free download. Just make sur eyou use the same version as the reader you are using).
    Launch the adobe customization wizard. FIle open package. Navigate to the install folder and select the .msi file
    Once you have the install open go to the registry section and from the local computer copy the HKCU>Software>Adobe>Acrobat Reader>11.0>Touch  key into the target computer's registry HKCU>Software>Adobe>Acrobat Reader>11.0 key with the Adobe customization wizard.
    Make any other customizations you want.
    Save the package.
    Now anytime you install from that package all users will get the touch wizard default setting that you set.

  • Run shutdown oc4j instance automatically when user Turn off/Log off

    Hi All,
    Can you help me anyone to run the shutdown oc4j instance automatically when user Turn off/Log off the application or the computer?
    I want to use any Schema level trigger if possible to solve the issue.
    I am using oracle Developer Suite 10g and Database 10g as well.

    Ah, sorry I misunderstood your question (probably not enough coffee in the morning); anyway there are folders for scripts which should be executed on startup / shutdown or logon / logoff:
    Startup
    %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\GroupPolicy\Machine\Scripts\StartupShutdown
    %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\GroupPolicy\Machine\Scripts\ShutdownLogon
    %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\GroupPolicy\User\Scripts\LogonLogoff
    %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\GroupPolicy\User\Scripts\LogoffWrite a script to startup / shutdown your OC4J (probably calls to startinst.bat and stopinst.bat) and place them in the apropriate folders.
    cheers

  • Globally turn off low-level diagnostic level

    Greetings,
    We went live on production with R12.1.1 last week. When we log in, we get the message: " Low-level diagnostic logging is turned on. This may temporarily reduce performance."
    How does one turn this off globally? I have found several notes about turning it off based on an individual user, but nothing at the global level.
    Thanks...colin

    Hi Colin,
    How does one turn this off globally? Make sure none of the profile options is set at the Site level (also, verify at the application/user/responsibility levels).
    I have found several notes about turning it off based on an individual user, but nothing at the global level.The query in this thread should be helpful.

  • Streaming audio data won't stop unless I turn off the phone for 5 minutes.

    I have been testing the Curve 8330 regarding streaming audio from an icecast server. The address of the station is http://www.AirProgressive.org, click on "listen". (I have already run this by the icecast experts and they say it is a Blackberry "bug")
    BLACKBERRY USERS! PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE STREAM (dataflow) DOES NOT STOP WHEN YOU CLICK "STOP" ON THE MEDIA PLAYER! (and will continue for as long as you leave it on, and even if you turn off your BB for less than 5 Minutes.) I'm not sure if you are charged for these streams, but it seems that the battery is depleted rapidly if this continues without aborting it. See details of my testing below:

    > Stock media player launches, stops at "Do you want to open or save the item."
        > No connections started yet (viewing "List Clients" page of icecast admin interface).
    > Click "open", stream begins playing.

    So, to stop the streaming server from communicating with the Blackberry handset, you must either turn it off or disable mobile network for at least 5 minutes.
    It appears that the handset continues to transfer data (and therefore incur charges, if the user does not have an unlimited data plan) if the handset is not turned off or mobile network disabled for at least five minutes. It also runs down the battery much faster because the radio transmitter is actively being used, even if the user is not listening to the stream.
    The Blackberry network has intervening servers that continue to receive data from the streaming server even if the handset is off. This behavior likely has utility to deal with the realities of the cellphone network, to allow the stream to be transferred from one cell to another, and deal with the possibility that the handset may be out of range for up to 5 minutes without "interruption." However, it is hard to turn off the stream.
    QUESTIONS:
    1. Is there a way to stop this sort of behavior using a configuration setting or something? It seems particularly stupid to start a new stream connection each time a STOP/START cycle is completed, allowing the old connections to continue streaming data (even if the data does not make it to the handset).
    2. IS IT TRUE that the user will be "charged" for the data streams that are not disconnected?
    3. Is there a way for a developer to send a signal to the intervening cellphone network to discontinue the orphan streams?
    THANKS!!

    No, I'm using something like this :
    to start...
                       channel = new SoundChannel();
                                            soundPlay = new Sound();
                                            urlReq=new URLRequest;
                                            urlReq.url=mylUrl;  // url of radio mp3
                                            soundPlay.load(urlReq);
                       channel = soundPlay.play();
    to stop it...
                          channel.stop();
                          channel=null;
                          try{soundPlay.close();} catch (e:Error) {} // error or not, the sream won't stop.
    Any idea ? Did you try with a NetStream object ?

  • How to set more detail log level for http

    Hi,
    With Java Enterprise System 2003 I want to see when a user login to the Messenger Express in the http log. How could I set a log level so I can see this?
    I do not know the the default log level for http and I would like to set a log level that show me more information
    could this be the command?
    configutil -o logfile.http.loglevel -v level Information

    configutil -o logfile.http.loglevel -v Information
    would be the correct command to set the log level to "information".
    Other valid levels include, "debug", "notice" (this is the default), "warning".
    You have t restart the webmail daemon to make this take effect.
    stop-msg http; start-msg http

  • Set Logging level for my application

    I've got an web-based application (ADF/EJB) and I'm trying to configure the logging level.
    I'm using the Java Logging API and no matter what I change, short of hardcoding a call in to set the global logging level, I can't alter what level it is using. I've tried changing in the WebLogic console and all that does is change the logging level for WebLogic. I've tried adding properties files but they don't seem to be read.
    Any Ideas?

    Hey Mark,
    I have no idea if this will help, but I was wanting to print out only my DML operations on commit and I got this post on my thread.
    You could probably do this with -Djbo.debugoutput=adflogger and then fuss with the logging configuration, or perhaps by turning on JDBC loggingDouble-click your View Controller project-> Run/Debug/Profile -> Edit ,and then type the -Djbo.debugoutput=adflogger into your Java Options, but I don't know anything after that.
    Good luck.

  • Can i turn off email alerts for find my iphone

    How do you turn off email alerts for find my iphone?

    There is no way to turn it off, just reduce it. It is a new security feature. It depends on where you are logging in that is generating the email. If you are logging in from a computer browser, if you have cookies on, it should not generate the email except for the first time that you use that device. If it is from logging in to the Find My iPhone app on the iPhone or iPad, if you have a passcode lock set on the device, it will not generate the email, as you will not be logged out of the app on the phone. You just use the home button to get past the app and it stays logged in by not tracking. You open the app again and it will just take you right in without having the log in and will refresh itself.

    Yes of course, i know... havn`t lost it but however makes it harder to steal (get bettery out of it or find an area with no cellular connection which are well developed here isnt that easy as just to turn  off the device).
    It only makes it marginally harder to steal. There are many ways to defeat Find my iPhone; turning it off is only one of them. Others:
    Remove the SIM
    Wrap in aluminum foil
    Drop in a shoplifter's bag or backpack that is metal lined
    Run the battery down
    Connect to a computer and restore the phone
    Requiring a passcode to turn the phone off would also make the millions of users whose phone was not stolen very annoyed that they can't easily turn off their phone.
