Turn off NAP mode, Intel processor

Hey, all. I just bought an audio interface for recording audio, but when I hook it up via firewire, I hear a distinct audio whine. After doing some research, other people have had this problem and say that the solution is to download the CHUD utilities and then turn off NAP mode. Like this: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=208800&d=1157836 667 .
However, I downloaded CHUD and when I go to the Processor pane, it looks exactly like that screenshot, except without the "Allow Nap" option.
I've also tried using terminal and the command "hwprefs cpu_nap=false", but I get the response "ERROR: nap not supported by this processor type."
I've heard that Intel chips don't run that way. I've got a Macbook with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Does anybody know how to do this with that setup?

Ive discovered that when ever I attempt to record audio in Logic pro 8 I get a constant white noise in the back ground. How do I turn off compatibility mode for iTunes?

Recently computer keeps on telling me to turn off compatibility mode.
I have tried looking at previous answers but cant find what the instructions tell me. I get as far as opening the itumes folder and then it says right click on the itune ort itunes .exe . I can see lots of files. when i click on the one that says itunes it actually opens up itunes and cant see one that says itunes.exe. thx.

I think I have found a way to do it.
Go to start button
Type into search programs and files
itunes
right click
the compatibility tab then appears and can be switched off.

My iPhone 3gs backed up to the iCloud just fine, but my new iPhone 5 gives me an error and says to turn off airplane mode or use wi-fi. It is connected to my wi-fi and airplane mode is off. It can see the internet just fine. What gives?

I backed up my iPhone 3GS to iCloud. Activated my iPhone 5 and restored it from iCloud. But iPhone 5 will not backup to iCloud, only to my MacBook. When I try to turn it on on the phone it gives me an error that I must turn on Wi-Fi or turn off Airplane mode. Wi-Fi is on an the phone is talking to the internet just fine and airplane mode is off, but I still get the error. Is this a known problem?

You mean take the cover off of the iPhone, to look inside? I'd recommend against it. Even with warranty expired, you might qualify for an out-of-warranty service, which for 3GS is $149.
Other than that, any repair/service options are going to cost money. You might want to see if a wireless carrier will let you get a new contract & phone.
Out of curiousity, you're just using at as, basically, an iPod Touch, if there's no cell provider? Did I understand that correctly?

I can answer this question for you.You can't change the stock messaging application to turn off the conversation mode. You may be able to download a 3rd party application for messaging that could assist you with this feature.

Turning Off Compatibility Mode

Hello,
Every time that I open iTunes for my PC (Vista operating system), I receive a dialog box that states: "iTunes.exe has been set to run in compatibility mode fore an older version of Windows. For best results, turn off compatibility mode for iTunes before you open it."
I would like to know how to do the above, or make it so that this does not appear anymore. I have the latest version of iTunes as well, and this has not resolved the issue. Thanks.

However, because I modified the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast and nothing changed, I redirected it to another feed and then I deleted this feed.
Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.

Turning off lost mode

Ive gone to icloud.com, logged in and attempted to turn off the "lost mode", dont know the exact word for it in english. Anyways now its been saying for quite some time, "Waiting: Turn off lost mode", like its waiting for another process to finish. Ive tried logging out and in several times and turned it off multiple times aswell, but its not working. Must be like an hour since i tried to turn it off for the first time. Any tips for what to do?

There is no way of turning off the command remotely. When found, you'll have to enter the passcode to open the device.
