Turn off new responses indicator in tracker icon

After a system crash and an extensive re-install of a lot of things, my forms tracker icon in Acrobat 10 indicates new responses when there are none. I have tried deleting all of my distributed forms and redistributing them; I have deleted the adhoc folders and they were re-built, etc. Icon remains on (i.e., indicating new responses. I know this function is disappearing soon, but as of now it is very important until I can get converted to Forms Central.

ummm, i'm sure it is me but what's the "end of line
indicator"? never heard of that before. It shows
a "dot" for all spaces and tabs? Is this really in the Flash
IDE? I'm stumped.

Turning off new message indicator AND the new message count

Greetings,
Is it possible to turn off both the new message indicator (red asterix) and the new message count?
I would like no message indicators to appear on my blackberry home screen.

I guess I didn't read close enough. I don't think you can turn off the red asterisk. It's going to show up on the icon no matter what.
As for the text messages, I'm not sure the setting for not showing message count indicator applies for text messges. In fact, if you have OS 5, it most likely doesn't as sms is handled much differently.
You can turn off sounds and the red led in Profiles (or Sounds in OS 5)
You're basically wanting to disabl everything the phone was designed to do.

I somehow managed to turn on the end of line indicator icon
in my Flash 8 IDE. It also shows a dot for all spaces and >>
for all tabs. Would any of you know how to turn this off?

Apple released an update a while back to control the brightness of the sleep indicator, but it was only for certain G5 models. Quick perusal of apple support didn't turn up anything. Coworker swears that the brightness is controlled by the ambient light sensor, but I certainly can't tell the difference in a bright vs dark room...

Is there any way to turn off new mail notification sound for a particular folder? I want new mail sound for my in box and most other folders but for example when I filter high-volume mail lists into a sub folder I don't want the new mail sound to play.

When I drag a synchonised clip to timeline, can I turn off the video's audio track only without breaking apart clips?

I have preparred many clips by synchonising them with audio recorded on H4N - and have these in keywords.
When I drag them to the timeline, do I have to break apart each clip item to turn off the video's audio track or is there a shortcut to doing this?

For each clip you can go to the audio portion of inspector and uncheck/disable the tracks you don't desire. That would take longer than Tom's method, but I think the audio won't show up as a blank later on.

Turn off "New Message" icon

Hi
Blackberry's great for working my emails but how do I stop it telling me I have new mail?
- I have successfully turned all the sounds/vibrations/LEDs to off
- And I have stopped it telling me how many new emails I have
- But how do I turn off the little envelope that appears at the top of the screen telling me I have new mail?
(I'd prefer to only know when there is new mail when I actually go into my messages, not all the time!)
I've looked through the forums and found someone else with the same problem a couple of years ago but no solution...
Can anyone help?

Sorry for my first response. My apologies. I thought you were asking for the "Transform Panel" which gets invoked on creating rectangle.
If you have the cloud subscription then:
For the Welcome screen you can select the "New Feature" tab and scroll to the bottom of this tab.
Then select the "Don't Show Welcome Screen Again" check box.
If you are using it as trial then this option "Don't Show Welcome Screen Again" is not displayed.

Match turned off, non-iTunes artists have cloud icon

On my iPhone there are artists with the cloud icon next to their name.
I have Match turned OFF on the iPhone.
I have not purchased songs by these particular artists from iTunes.

Multi-recording midi: possible to turn off alias parts or keep track name?

I'm in the middle or a project and I'm using multi-recording (i.e. recording enabling multiple tracks) to quickly realize ideas (e.g. recording pizz bass & cello lines at the same time) and when I do it creates one "real copy" and an alias of all other recorded parts. Is it possible to either turn off alias parts so it records all "real" parts, or if thats not possible, to have the alias copies at least keep their track names? As it stands now, when I "turn alias into real copy" via key command the cello parts all have "bass" as their names, which gets confusing while using the event editor. Of course I can manually change their names, but I'm looking for time savers here! :=)

well, though I havnt found a way to have all parts be "real" copies (demix doesnt work well for me) I'll use the work around combination of "turn alias into real copy" and "Track names to regions" functions. As key commands it works quick enough I guess.
BTW, thank you Logic for providing a printed manual. It makes "number 2" time much more productive!

Turn Off New Welcome Screen

Hello. Is there a way to turn off the new "Welcome" screen during startup? This is pretty annoying, I don't need to watch a feature video every time I open an Adobe app.

Ipod turns off while battery indicator is full.

Hi a couple of days ago my ipod turned off about 2 mins after i turned it on and said that i had a low battery, however the battery indicator was fully charged. Then after 10-15 mins i tried it again and it worked fine, can anybody tell me why this happened, and if anybody else is having the same problem?

The iPod battery indicator is only a very loose approximation of how much charge there actually is left and is not that reliable.

Is there any way to turn off the new message pop up? I dont want new private messages popping up on my desktop for anyone passing by to read? Is there a setting for this anywhere?

By default any Chat type invite will open an Invite window
This has to be accepted to read the content in the case of a Text chat.
In the iChat > Preferences > Alerts section you can set the AppleScript option to Auto Decline on text Chats before you leave your computer.
It may be as simple as turning Off any Auto Accept item that you have set.
