How can I turn off the album art? I do not want to see it.

As of iTunes 9, you can no longer disable the option to "include album artwork" for your iPod under its Summary tab and there is no way to turn it off on the iPod itself. Sorry. About the only work around would be to remove all album artwork from each track in iTunes, then sync the updated changes to your iPod.
Perhaps make this suggestion to Apple through the Classic feedback form.

Is there any way for me to turn off album art for an entire playlist? For example, the playlist has about 500 songs and some of them have album art, while some don't. I'd like to turn it off for those who don't, but there's too many songs to go step by step. Is there any way to do this in one go?

If you don't want to view artwork in iTunes then choose the List view instead of the Grid or Cover Flow views. In iTunes go to View>as List or click on the List view button, it's the third one in from the right beside the Search box. There's no specific view of playlists regardless of which library view you are using the playlists are visible in the Source pane. Turning off VoiceOver on Nano 7th Gen

I have gone thru setting/general/accessability/voiceover and the button is set to off. But my Nano still keeps randomly doing voiceovers announcing song titles, artists, playlists.......am i missing something? This only started happening once i started using a set of BEATS earplugs. Not sure if the two are related

My new iPod 7th gen is syncing but no sound

I have just received my iPod 7th gen. It is fully charged and set up. I have synced my music files to it. When i play a song no sound comes through but on the iPod it shows as playing. Is this a fault with the ipod? The earphones work fine as i have tested them on my ipad. I have also restored the ipod to factory settings and resynced but am still having the same problem. Any help would be appreciated

Verify that the iPod touch is not set to pause.
Verify that the volume is set appropriately.
Verify that headphones are not attached to the headphone port.
Verify that Bluetooth stereo headphones are not paired wirelessly.
Try turning the iPod touch off and then on again.

Hello. My ipod 7th gen is not being recognized by itunes and Windows 8.1. When I connect my ipod to my computer, itunes will open automatically and a message bar below will appear:
I have followed all the instruction in the support and itunes still unable to deted my ipod. The funny thing is, if i uninstall itunes, Windows 8.1. will detect my ipod but when itunes is installed, both itunes and windows 8.1. cannot detect my ipod. Thank you in advance for all your help.

the message box says like this:
An ipod has been detected but could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect ipod, then try again. If the problem persists, unisntall itunes then install itunes again.

hi guys. i have an ipod 7th gen and just recently bought a macbook pro. what i noticed right away was that whenever i try to plug in and update my ipod, the icon shows up on the desktop but the iPod itself does not show up in iTunes. i have to unplug then re-plug in my iPod and that usually does the trick. a trick which is annoying to do because im sure most people with iPods dont have this problem. help please

It sounds like your iPod isn't showing in iTunes when you connect it to your Mac. I would start with this bit from the following article:

IOS 8 lockscreen keyboard does not let me input characters with accent marks. My password has an accent mark. I can't restore the device without unlocking it and turning off find my iPod. What can I even do here?

I do have a third party keyboard installed (fleksy), and I removed english and emoji from the keyboards list in settings before rebooting the ipod. When it booted up, it asked for my device password with the default keyboard, but I can't type any letters with accent marks, so I can't enter the password. I figured I could fix this by restoring a backup and changing my password, but I can't restore a backup without turning off Find My iPod - which of course requires me to unlock the device with the device password, which I can't do. Am I stuck here? Is there anything at all that I can do?

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

Cannot turn off find my ipod

My passcode was changed and now forgotten. I did connect the Ipod to the computer I have synced to and connected to itunes, however; itunes says to turn off find my ipod. I went to icloud and erased this ipod so there is no device it recognizes. Itunes still tells me to turn off find my ipod and I can't since I cannot get into the ipod or its not recognized by icloud. What do I do now?

I understand that your iPod is disabled and you are unable to turn off find my device. I would recommend going through the steps in the article below.
Recovery mode
If you've never synced your device with iTunes, or haven't set up Find My iPhone, you'll need to put your device in recovery mode. Then you'll restore your device as new or from a backup.
Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled

You need to "authorize" the Mac.
Launch iTunes on the Mac then from the iTunes menu bar top of your screen click Store > Authorize This Computer.
Now, using the same Apple ID as you used to purchased iTunes media originally, you should be able to sync all your content.
